Went in with a few friends who were picking up food for their reptiles. It was really nice to walk around and take a look at all the animals they had. Sal was super helpful and fun to chat with. My friend and I asked him some questions about the animals they had and he took the time to talk about them and answer our questions. I also noticed a cat tree by the door, and when I asked Sal about it he brought out Richard! Richard is the very handsome shop cat who accept tons of pets and even supervised our checkout! Thanks Sal and Richard! read more

If zero stars were an option, I would choose that based on the experience I had with Sal, the owner. We purchased a 2-month-old bearded dragon from Cold Blooded Kingdom who never ate after leaving the store. Within about 24 hours, he developed a severe head tilt, began circling and rolling to one side, and lost his coordination. We immediately took him to an emergency veterinarian. He was only 5 grams and had severe neurological symptoms. The vet gave him a guarded-to-poor prognosis and listed adenoviral infection, possibly with concurrent coccidiosis, as the primary suspected diagnosis. We ultimately had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him. When we contacted Sal afterward, rather than showing compassion or concern, he was incredibly rude and blamed us for the dragon's condition - even though we had owned him for approximately one day. Importantly, the veterinarian's report did not conclude that our care caused his condition and actually listed nutritional/metabolic disease and trauma among the less likely causes. We have the veterinary report, photos, and videos documenting the entire timeline. Losing a baby animal less than a day after bringing him home was heartbreaking. The way Sal handled the situation afterward made an already terrible experience significantly worse. I cannot recommend this business. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My children wanted a new pet and I wanted something simple and easy. We walked in with one creature in mind and when the kids decided that wasn't going to work, they pulled out our new family member from the backa leopard gecko. They were so informative. So helpful with educating getting us set up. The prices were great. I just can't say how amazing the store was. They handle all of their creature read more

Absolutely amazing reptile store. Sal and his mom Maria have turned this store into a true treasure for reptiles lovers. From the reptiles they sell to the supplies and feeders they carry you can always count on that you're not only getting the best price but best quality. I have purchased all my reptiles (it's a lot) from cold blooded and have been truly impressed every time. I have been going to this store when it was Jungle, then Ben something! It's been about 17 years since I have been going and I have seen owners come and go and none have made it as good as Sal. The reptiles they sell in the store are very well cared for and not thrown in an empty tank with little enrichment. Instead every cage is done to that reptiles environment and kept very clean. read more

This is the real deal... I stopped by, simply wanting to learn more about the different reptiles they offer and suggested for a new reptile owner and the owner took time and had definite patience with my son and I showing us around and guiding our reptile purchase. Now we are due to have the cutest little addition to our family. This shop breeds their own snakes. You could tell it's an art-form and done with so much love. The owner cares for his snakes and insists he must be certain the snake is ready to go home before selling it. We put our money down and we will be back to pick up our little baby python! This is the place to shop responsibly, can't wait to update this review with a photo or two!! read more

This new business is what it should've been all along. The only thing it shares with the previous, failed business is the location! Make no mistake. This is NOT the same business. This is now a fantastic choice for buying Reptiles! Every reptile now has correct heating an it's own HO UVB! No more sick animals in dimly lit cages kept too cold. And no more MBD. Just clean well equipped enclosures and healthy animals now! Great job! Well done! I was so impressed that I bought myself a Chameleon read more

Sal is one of the most helpful people in the reptile community that I've personally dealt with, every time I come in here he's always there to help out with anything I need and very informative especially when it comes to custom enclosure set ups. Always looking forward to making a trip down to visit there. read more

Awful experience almost every time I've interacted with the owner's son sal. I've been nothing but kind and patient whenever I come into the store. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and I've never had an issue until recently. Sal is filled with too much negativity and has an attitude problem and is assuming everyone is out to get him he needs to work on that to improve customer service and general people skills. other than that the store is wonderful and clean. The mother is a sweet heart and is always caring. The son is an angsty teenager that needs to grow up. I will not be coming back to the store as long as Sal continues his attitude problem and anger issues. Really disappointed I have to buy from a different store as every single employee has been so wonderful except sal unfortunately. read more

I am glad Josh has rebranded this store. Shedding the stigma of The Jungle Florida. I knew it would be a turn around when the nasty stance was being cleared with beautiful new enclosures. A little time and work make the difference in having a successful business. I will continue to get my feeders here. I'd like to see more pythons and other snakes. Maybe even a coral glow black pastel or a Cypress yellow belly clown. Place is welcoming and nicely made over. The staff does need to be more attentive to the front. read more

The BEST pet reptile store in South Florida. It has a very helpful and knowledgeable staff, it is spotlessly clean and well organized, and has just about every kind of pet reptile you could want. Also has a big wall of reptile supplies. I drive up from Miami just to see the inventory and talk with the friendly staff. This is a really nice place. read more

Been going to cold blooded kingdom since it opened. The best reptile shop around hands down. I've bought 3 snakes and a blue tongue skink from them and between the owner Josh who I've become friends with and the amazing staff, this place is just a great shop with people who actually care about their customers and about the animals. I could keep ranting but all and all I just have nothing but good things to say about this place. Absolutely killing the reptile and exotic game and hope they only get bigger and bigger! read more
