Fantastic pet hotel!! My dogs run over me getting in the car when I pull out the leashes and they know we are headed to Camp Canine. I call it the Ritz Carlton! John read more

After switching over to Dogtopia , this place is a disaster. For the second time my dog came back with marks all over him, they lost his extra food and told me that they were going to feed him house food, which is a major issue because he is allergic. They charged me $35 for a bath and when picking him up he was completely wet and smelled like pee . Avoid this place at all costs. It should be shut down read more

Hi, this is Bori. My daddy who brought me to Camp Canine let me write my own review. After all, who knows it better than me, I stayed here! At first I was hesitant about going to Camp Canine cause I didn't know what it was all about, and I didn't even know that I was a Canine. I thought I was a sato dog from Puerto Rico, but that's another story. My daddy said he used Camp Canine awhile ago for his other sato, but that was a long time ago. My daddy brought me here for day care the first time, not overnight boarding, so I could check the place out and see if I liked it or not. And wow, I really liked it. Mainly cause I could run around all day, I wasn't in a cage. I stayed in this big room with about 20 other dogs, and a few times a day we went outside and ran around there, too. I liked being with the other dogs. I wrestled a lot with them, I sniffed a lot of butts, and I could pee anywhere and they mopped it up! It was really fun and all the other dogs were real nice. I even met a dog named Kia and she is my girlfriend now. I hope I see her again! Next time I went back was for boarding when my Daddy's went to Orlando for a weekend. I really didn't want to go with them, I figured I would have more fun at the Camp. And my daddy's picked out a deluxe suite for me, it had a nice bed and pillow and a tv and a chandelier. I stayed there at night until the morning when I went into the big room again and humped a lot of other dogs and they humped me, too! I also ate my food in my suite, the same food I eat at home, cause my daddy's brought my food for them to give me. I also had my favorite blanket and a rubber ball to chew. Everyone at the Camp was very nice to me. They all said I was so cute, and I agree, cause I've heard that before. And JUAN, who is the manager, said he never saw a dog run as fast as I did. See, I'm a mix, a street dog from Puerto Rico, and I have Italian greyhound in my blood and I had to run fast in Puerto Rico to not get run over by a car or abused by nasty people or attacked by other dogs. See, I'm tough, but really very sweet. Before I went home I had my nails clipped so I won't scratch my daddy anymore and also got a bubble bath so I wouldn't smell from the other dogs. I was very very very tired when I got home cause I ran around so much, and slept a lot. I don't mind going to the Camp. I heard how much my Daddy paid for my deluxe suite and for day care. And while I don't manage the budget or get involved with paying bills, I realized it was expensive. But my Daddy said it was worth it, and he was happy I was so happy and that I made friends there. Oh I forgot, they have a camera in the room where all the dogs run around and my daddy was able to see me play and wrestle and jump and hump. My daddy liked that. I didn't know there would be a camera, but it was cool when I found out. The Camp is clean and the people are nice and the other dogs are nice and we all have to show we don't have bugs or fleas or ticks and have all of shots and vaccinations before we can stay there. That's good. So if your mommy or Daddy are going away for awhile or even a day, come to Camp Canine. Maybe I'll be there and we can play. If I'm not, I'm sure there will be other dogs you can play with, but unlikely they will be as cute as me or come from Puerto Rico. Oh, also, I understand English very well so if you see me you can talk in English. read more

***UPDATE*** They are making progress; I'm told the renovation should be completed in a couple months. The staff is working hard to make things right. I have confidence. I'll reserve my 5-star review for when I see how it all turned out. And again, the staff is always pleasant and attentive. read more

Thanks so much to Marc and his dog, Bori for reviewing Camp Canine. I hardly ever go out of town. I worry so much about where to leave my dog, Onyx, if he can't go along with us. Diane and I received a very nice opportunity to attend a Yelp Masquerade Event in St. Petersburg. So, after reading Marc's review of Camp Canine, we decided to leave Onyx there. I trust that Marc's reviews are well thought out and greatly descriptive. We took Onyx over to Camp Canine to check it out and see if it is right for our sweet, wonderful, boy. The place is beautifully maintained and well-run. It really is like a summer camp for dogs. They have 2 play rooms. One for small dogs and one for large dogs. Onyx is a large dog (a black Labrador Retriever, 87 pounds), but he has a little dog personality. I was afraid that the large dog room might be filled with vicious Pit Bulls and unsuitable for Onyx. This was not at all the case. The large dog room had many happy, playful dogs, eager to make a new friend. Onyx loves other dogs, large and small. So it appeared to be a good fit for my boy. They have smaller rooms for the dogs to sleep in. You bring a blanket, food and any medication that your pet needs. We brought Onyx back the next morning and dropped him off. During his stay, we called a few times to make sure everything was all right. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and told us he was doing well. Camp Canine is in the process of installing cameras that you can access with your cell-phone and watch your dog from a remote location. They also offer Doggie day care, so you can leave them when you go to work and pick them up in the evening. Everything went well with Onyx's stay. The staff is very kind and efficient. They sell various pet-related items if you choose to shop. Camp Canine is a beautiful, wonderful place to leave your pet to board and not have to worry about them. The cost is a little high ($60.00 a night), but well worth the peace of mind. Thanks again to Marc for his terrific, insightful review!!! read more

Since Juan left and it became dogtopia, this place is dreadful. First time with new owners he came home with a double ear infection. Second time - bloody diarrhea and wouldn't eat for two days. This place is awful. Do not send your dog there. read more

I wasn't really impressed after the first visit, but I decided that we would give it another chance because I was hoping maybe they were just having kind of an off day. After three visits, I can now say that the staff here doesn't really seem to even like dogs very much. They are very uncaring, don't seem like they even want to be at work, and provide no information about your dog at all. If you want to place to send your dog to where your dog can just be in a room all day long with other dogs then great. If you want, any feedback or your dog to get any type of human interaction then this is not the place for you. The staff just seems to be more concerned about being on their cell phones or having personal conversations even when you're checking in. I do not recommend and I would suggest paying a little bit more money for a much better experience at another Boca Raton Doggy daycare. read more

We had a great boarding experience at Camp Canine! Boarded my dog at Camp Canine for 6 days (the first time ever leaving him!) The staff made us so comfortable and dealt with us constantly calling to check in on him. We knew he was safe and loved there. We could see him playing on the cameras they provide, and they don't ever put him in a crate/cage which can be traumatizing for a rescue dog. He had a little toddler bed to sleep in at night and played for the entire day, it was his dream. They even gave him a bath before we came to pick him up to make sure he smelled great for his arrival home. Our dog also comes here every so often for daycare and he loves that as well. Overall, this is a great place to board you dog so you can enjoy your vacation and know that your dog is having a good time as well. read more

Camp Canine - Got this photo of our dog while he was boarded at Camp Canine. The smile says it all! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

Full disclosure I have never been a customer. I only made it through the tour and decided this is not where I would leave my dog for day care. We are experienced daycare customers and while a certain animal "smell" is expected, this business from opening the door and stepping inside had that animal waste smell you'd usually expect from a county animal shelter, not a business. The front desk associate was friendly and happy to give the tour, but I just couldn't get over the hygiene issue, if I couldn't stand the smell for just the tour how could I leave my girl there for hours a day. The infrastructure itself was nice, and the price was very good. If they could "clean up" their act they'd have a good thing going! read more

I'm not a client. Stopped in to check it out to see about leaving my lab there. The smell almost knocked me over. As one other person wrote in a similar review, some smell would of course be expected. Like when you go into a vet office, or a groomer. Under no circumstances should a place smell this bad of urine and feces. It hits you like a brick when you open the front door, and at that point you are still in a very large open waiting/retail room. Cant imagine the smell where the dogs actually are. Yikes! read more

Great place for boarding and grooming! They definitely take time to get to know your furry family member. I like that I can make sure my little guy gets hamburgers for all his meals as a special treat when I'm unable to take him on a trip. They also have cameras so you can check in and see what your pet is up to. read more

The call begins with prerecorded message saying the call will be recorded & if you don't like that, hang up. In Florida, recording a call must be asked proactively - live request with live answer. Also it's a dual party state, meaning both sides may record - girl on phone didn't understand that, at first said no, then with much confusion, said yes. She quoted 1-day of day care as 7a-7p $30. Then a week for less per day, $130. When asked if 6 days (Monday through Saturday, she quoted $180 - thus 6 days at 1 day $30 price. If she can't do simple math, I can't trust a puppy in her care. Also, why recording only my voice? Have there been legal problems. Lawsuits? Should be less than 1 star. read more

Avoid this place. Understaffed, overpopulated, and not clean at all. This is the equivalent of leaving your dog at a shelter

I had given your business a 1 star rating and was hopefull the owner would try to hear my story before responding to my post. Unfortunately, I see you prefer to believe your manager who really was the one who created the incident. Now, he claims we threaten him with a bad review. The bad reviews come because of his treatment to clients. Not true. I just hope he treats the pets better than he treated us. Clients beware. BTW, we found a better dog hotel. Petsmart on Linton and I95 charges less and has vets on call. Also, your idea of an old limo to pick up pets is not first class service. Too bad you think reviews are only meant to hurt your business. Good reviews is what attracts more clients. read more

My puppy, Brian, loved it here while we were out of town. He loved hanging out with his dog friends and we loved to watch him on the web cam. I had a hard time making him leave! We will definitely be back. Thank you! read more

Leia, our 6 month old boxer, is a forever camper at Camp Canine. We felt guilty that Leia was not able to join us for spring break, but it turned out to be a vacation for her as well! The staff is absolutely fantastic. We discussed the training that needed to be reinforced, such as not jumping on people, and they were eager and happy to help. They were so thorough and pleasant when we would call to check on Leia, not to mention the fact the kids were excited they got to watch Leia play on the video camera! Camp Canine is not only beautiful, well laid out and offers endless fun for our boxer baby, you can also feel the love the staff has for what they do. Great Job Camp Canine for the best boarding experience I have ever had. We are forever Camp Canine members. read more

The worst customer service you can imagine! Don't honor quoted rates and literally tell you to your face they don't "need" your business. The GM Juan is nasty and rude and doing a real disservice to the company - the owners should get rid of him ASAP. Would give negative stars if I could! read more

I grew up in Boca and have wondered about this place for YEARS. So I finally have my own fur baby, and my step dad suggested we send my sweet girl there because he sent his dog there before she passed. So I am looking into it tonight and come to find out THEY DONT TREAT PITTYS THE SAME... WTF! I read their policy and like, if someone is not comfortable letting their dog play with a "specific breed", tell THEM simply NOT TO GO THERE! My pitty is actually the sweetest gentle giant and absolutely adores people and any dog of any size. How absolutely repulsively disgusting and rude. I've met far more aggressive small dogs then I have pitbulls. In fact I have NEVER met an aggressive pitbull. They have all been the biggest babies! Really wish I could give it 0 for discriminating dogs based on their breeds. A dog's behavior is based off how they are raised, not their breed. Don't call yourself if a dog lover if you can't love all dogs, or at least give them a chance. Come on people, it's 2021... inclusivity? CLEARLY THEY DONT KNOW SQUAT ABOUT DOGS IF THEY THINK THIS IS ACTUALLY TRUE OR AN OK THING TO SAY/DO/ENFORCE! read more

Camp Canine - Their "policy". Disgusting, uneducated swines. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

Would give 0 stars if I could. Made arrangements to board my dog and when I arrived they said they no longer had room.

Camp Canine's daycare service has taken care of my Belgian Malinois Karny every weekday and Saturday since 2013. They have done a terrific job over the years, giving him a periodic bath, keeping him occupied, and on occasion I pay them to take him to the nearby vet. They have the biggest facility in the area and I recommend them highly. read more

Definitely the place to bring your babies!!!! Brody has been coming to Camp Canine for over 8 years. He loves it! I travel a lot so he stays at the camp up to 9 days sometimes. The staff are very courteous and friendly and take excellent care of our baby. Brody also gets groomed there and the Groomer does a fabulous job on him. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

Camp canine is our number one choice when it comes to boarding our best friend Romeo!

Love this place!! The staff is great, the facilities are clean with plenty of room for the dogs to run around inside and outside with small and large dog areas. Maggie always comes home EXHAUSTED!! Prices are very reasonable too! Would definitely recommend. read more

Very caring staff who gives each dog personalized attention. Took the time to make sure my dog wasn't over exerting herself in the heat, and my dog seems to love going for day care. read more

My dogs are always excited to get to Camp Canine. I can leave them with a peace of mind that they are only in a cage while sleeping. All day long they get to play in a large open space with other dogs. The staff genuinely cares about all of the dogs in their charge. When my husband and I were both out of town for a week (A rarity for us to leave our dogs for that long) our lab went into major depression. The staff at Camp Canine not only noticed but cared enough to give her special attention and keep us posted. read more

I'm so glad I found this place. It really is run like a camp! Signing up takes only a few minutes, and then that's it- they take your dog in to play with the other dogs. I had my dog signed up for one day of daycamp, and she was so exhausted afterwards that I signed her up for boarding that weekend. I typically use a different place when I board my dog, but I think I'll have to start coming here instead. The hours are really reasonable, and they even have packages for the daycamp, which is important considering that it will start getting dark so soon that I won't have time to take my dog to the park after work! read more

Bailey and Sammy love the Boca location. We started going there 7 years ago when we first got Bailey. They come home exhausted from day care. I love that when we board them there, they get to play all day. The staff is always friendly and knows them by name. read more

Our dog loves going weekly for doggy daycare and we leave him when we need to go somewhere over night!

I brought my dog there for the 1st time, he was completely healthy. It was an awful experience. When picking up my dog, he seems frantic & disoriented. When we got home he ran right to his water bowl & was very dehydrated. Every time I went to touch him or pet him he cowered as if I was going to hit him. He had terrible diarrhea & was vomiting for 2 days when I finally brought him to the vet. He WAS in fact dehydrated and ill. My vet bill was $350 plus I had to take an additional 2 days off from work to take care of him & take him to the vet. The vet said it was a combination of a virus from being around other sick dogs & nerves and anxieties. (Not any expenses you would want after vacation). It took me 2 days to get ahold of anyone at Camp Canine. The 1st girl I spoke to said she had no answers to my question because she was new and no one with any experience would be in until noon. That's reassuring to leave your pet with someone with not any experience. Finally a Manager called me. She said she couldn't take any responsibility for his illness or vet bills as he was in public space and it's just like dropping your kids of at school. You can't blame the school if your kid gets sick! Well that's reassuring to EVER want to leave my dog there again. She offered possibly a free day of doggie daycare!! Why...I'm never stepping foot in there again!! She also assured me she would call me back in the next day to see how my dog was doing...she never did and it's been 5 days. Clearly she could care less of the well being of my dog! Stay away from Camp Canine!! read more

I left my puppy there for the first time. Was told to leave her for at least 4 hours. Called numerous times to check on her but no one answered the phone. I checked the cameras and couldn't find her. I left work early and found her in the 2x ft holding area. When I asked how long she was in there I was told 3 hrs. I asked her why my puppy was in there and she said she had no idea. The girl before her didn't tell her anything so she just kept her there. No manager on site to talk to but he called to deny it later. Very upsetting since I was happy to come get her anytime and just wanted her to have some fun. read more

We adopted our dog (first dog) from a local rescue group. It turned out that he lived at the Camp Canine location in Ft. Lauderdale before we adopted him, so that helped us decide to try Camp Canine in Boca Raton. Because our dog Nash was a rescue and was learning how to trust people (he did not come from a nice environment as is often the case with rescues) we were very apprehensive. However from the very first telephone call I made to ask questions, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They never made me feel like a crazy "dog mom" that was being over cautious. After a few day visits, we did an overnight stay. They suggested the web-cam so that we could see him while we were away, which really helped put our minds at ease. While we could see that the dogs enjoy the company of the other dogs, when they look to the humans for love and affection they get it. What more could you ask for? read more
