The breeder turns out to be a notorious puppy mill in Missouri. The owner promised me a formal letter stating that he would take care of any costs relating to BLP but nothing yet. That was 4 months ago. He doesn't respond to my texts. I frankly don't want to talk to him. Additionally my 6 mo. old mini poodle has 12 teeth extracted. Go to a shelter and adopt. I regret getting a dog from here. Benjamin had issues from the get go - little over a year ago. He started limping soon after we brought him home. He had to have a hip operation and he still has a bit of a limp. He also has an issue with his trachea. He also has guarding issues! We got him as a young puppy and had two other dogs with no issues. I've taken it upon myself to write a review about this place about 4 weeks after I went in here because the interaction is still on my mind. I went in with a friend to look at puppies as my boyfriend and I were planning on getting one. The customer service here is actually appalling for a place that sells three thousand dollar puppies. (Maybe they treat the puppies better than the humans idk?? but I wouldn't be convinced.) My friend and I were completely dismissed walking in and I had genuine questions that I couldn't get someone to answer for me. I don't think the girl at the front desk smiled once. All of the puppies with the exception of two were sold. Okay that's fine but when I was asking how much one of them was, a man who is apparently the owner responds "who's asking?". I said "I am. My boyfriend and I are looking to get a puppy we really like this breed". With a smug look on his face, he said "Well are you sure you're ready for puppy". He was not asking that question genuinely rather it was patronizing and honestly embarrassed me. As a business owner, who says that to a potential customer? I understand I am on the younger side and they probably get a ton of people who just come in to play with the puppies with no intention of buying but the comment was so unnecessary and the way he said it was condescending rather than showing a genuine concern/curiosity. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis and after thousands of dollars we finally figured out what was wrong with her. I hope no one else goes through what I have gone through it was horrible. I have taken her to numerous doctors We all heard the noises she was making especially at night and when she would Eat. Don't adopt here. Took me awhile to write this. I was looking to adopt another shih tzu. I went to visit and for the showing room everything looks great. Everyone at the desk is happy and attentive including Kevin. I fell in love with a dog that was 4-1/2 mos old. (Too old for adoption there). When she came home she had Giardia which is horrific. I kept calling and they kept telling me for 3 weeks to give her diarrhea medicine and feed her rice. It was constant explosive make you throw up smell. When I finally called a vet I found out she was sick. I gave her 8 medication a day that took another 3 weeks to get better. I couldn't train her to go outside. I tried crates, pads, she would just lay in her urine and feces. Found out from research after the fact they leave them caged like that and bathe them every morning for show in the nice room. She and many other dogs have respiratory problems because of this that people spent several thousand dollars on but cannot be resolved. Seems to be puppy farm dogs. A lot of reviews from ex employees that share these experiences and Kevin is not who he appears to be in the show room. Contacted a trainer and had to leash her to me and take her on the grass every hour 24/7. Was a tough journey and I'm in love with my little girl. I seriously wonder what they would have done with her had I not rescued her with imperfect markings, 4-1/2 months old and horribly sick? read more

They emailed me back and they don't breed that type of dog, never heard of Heavenly Puppies and would never sell to a public store. Kim came over our house at 10:00 PM took the puppy home, gave her special nebulizer treatments 2-3 times a day, sent us video updates and held on to her until she was much better. We need prayers, positive thoughts, well wishes for our 2 pups. Our new Heavenly puppy Orkie aka JR. turned ill Saturday less than 24 hrs. after we picked him up from Heavenly Puppies, Inc. Also our beloved pack member Oggie became very weak and ill Friday night 5 days after being exposed to dogs at Heavenly Puppies, Inc. We took both dogs to our veterinarian on Saturday. Oggie was the most ill and chest imaging revealed pneumonia. Orkie's exam revealed Bronchitis with Pneumonia risks. Both received RXs and 21 day isolation from other animals. The extra bad news for Oggie was that he stopped eating & drinking and was very weak. I had to force feed him foods & water all weekend. Lucky for JR. he still has an appetite. We almost lost Oggie this weekend (many tears from Lorrie and I) but today he felt well enough to eat & drink on his own and regained some strength. We are very thankful. Orkie's progress is slower but he is showing some improvement today with the RX and nebulizer treatment. We don't let Oggie greet or play with unknown dogs or cats as a rule. Lorrie so wanted Oggie to have a friend and playmate but did not realize the risks she exposed him to at the pet store. read more

We got our puppy here. The poor thing has had a cough since we got him. They referred us to Boca Village Animal Hospital. They keep saying it's kennel cough. After 5 visits still nothing. I went to another vet who took X-rays and was told he had a bronchial infection. Additionally we took him back for a grooming. When we pulled up our puppy was screaming and I heard the groomer yelling at him to shut up. Their puppy's are overpriced and the care at both here and Boca Village Animal Hospital is horrific!!!! The store itself is immaculately clean and the puppies are happy and so well taken care of. We spent well over a year searching for our perfect match. Every time we came we were welcomed with open arms. The owners never lost their patience with our constant visits and were so welcoming every time we came in. Finally last November we found our fur baby. Although we have owned several dogs in the past, going home instructions were crystal clear and their follow up is amazing. I called and spoke to the owner Kim before I went to the store. He spent 30 minutes on the phone answering questions I had before I even met him. Since we bought our sweet little puppy, they have called me to check in, they are always available for questions, and Kim makes himself available via text 24/7. The woman was beyond disrespectful and showed no sign of compassion to my dog or to me. The fact that this goes on at an establishment like this is beyond me. The woman was so rude I didn't even know how to respond, I was taken back beyond words. She should be fired immediately and I highly recommend no one uses her for a dog grooming. We live three hours away and couldn't find a reputable breeder or store to buy our puppy. I wanted a small female yorkie to be a companion for our 10 month old Malti-poo. After researching we found Heavenly puppies and could not be more pleased. We spent several hours on Friday talking with Kim, the owner and his son. Both extremely knowledgeable and passionate about everything in regards to puppies. We left on Friday night totally in love with the whole place, ALL the puppies and everyone there. The store is immaculate and someone is always wiping, spraying and disinfecting. The puppies are all playful and truly enjoy being there and clearly love their "temporary" family. After we left we decided to visit a few more "boutique" stores fairly close by, including the establishment that we bought our Malti-poo(wish we had found Heavenly Puppies back then). Although we love our Malti-poo we were assured he would be between 4 and 7 pounds full grown. He is 10 months old , eats a natural raw food diet twice a day, walks a mile twice a day and is 10 pounds(not over weight, just not a tiny toy as sold to us). When we visited this store again and held some puppies the sales person told us (and anyone else holding and looking at puppies) that they would be 4 to 7 pound. When we mentioned that we had heard that before and explained and showed pictures of our Malti poo, the sales person remarked that sometimes when they get nuetured they gain weight. The puppies all smelled and all were shaking when they were held. It was so sad. We declined the complimentary wine, corona and cappuccino's as well as the dresses and accessories selling for hundreds of dollars and left feeling heartsick for the puppies. We stopped at one more place "where the stars buy their dogs" and were greeted by tuxedo clad salespeople. The display window puppies were cute but again, didn't look all that happy or playful. When we asked to hold a few somewhere close to our price range, it took them a while to "find" and then they were handed to us clearly spritz'd with some odor blocker or deodorizer that did not work.. . The puppies smelled horrible, looked horrible and again it was such a sad experience. The stars obviously buy the "window" puppies at six to ten thousand dollars and then buy the dresses, beds and accessories that cost several more thousand. Saturday morning we returned to Heavenly puppies and spent about three more hours there eventually meeting Kim's daughter, grandson and many past puppy purchaser's....all one big puppy loving family!!! It was a very difficult decision but we eventually were adopted by a beautiful perfect yorkie baby!!! At Heavenly puppies its ALL about the puppies and NOT about the accessories as with the other two boutiques. The whole experience was amazing and we look forward to going back to visit!! Today my husband and I purchased the most adorable french bulldog from Heavenly Puppies. The entire experience was phenomenal!!! Kevin greeted us at the door and asked all of the right questions, making us feel much more at ease. Kevin is knowledgeable and clearly cares for each of the puppies in his store, as if they were his own personal dogs. Kevin let us spend time with our new puppy, went over all instructions for care, feeding, etc before we left the store. There are not enough stars for Heavenly Puppies! We bought our dog in December of this year, and from the moment we entered the store, you could tell that this was no ordinary pet shop. The place is IMMACULATE with dozens of miniature puppies of all breeds being lovingly cared for by the extensive staff, including owner Kevin. I came in with my family, including two tweens, who were encouraged to carefully handle & pet the dogs under the close supervision of the staff. I knew that I wanted a Mal-Shi (maltese/shitszu mix) & it had to be female. What great luck that they had ONE Mal-shi little girl puppy available (her brother had been adopted the day before) & she was beautiful! Kevin patiently & expertly explained the benefits of this cross-breed, and answered all of my many questions. All of the dogs were perfectly groomed (they have a groomer on site), friendly, not skittish at all, and you could tell they were handled & loved a lot. We left that day with our new family member, Roxy Rose (IG RoxyRose_Malshi) in tow, and they fully prepared us with food, a sweater, and all accessories needed to fly home with her to NJ the next day. She has settled in perfectly & gets along great with our other 50 lb dog. From the time we returned home, we got multiple texts from their staff, asking how Roxy was doing, if she was eating/drinking etc. Recently I called them to discuss increasing the amount of food we were giving her since she's getting a bit bigger & they were just as helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. I almost feel bad for posting this bad review because the purchase experience of our Yorkshire was very positive and my family ended up with the perfect dog. However, 6 weeks later I took her for her first grooming service with is complementary and it was disastrous. They shaved her! You pay over 2k for a Yorkshire and they give you a Chihuahua back! I was shocked, could not even recognize the dog and she was shaking of fear. When I brought her home the kids were devastated and the reaction in her eyes of all of my friends that see her after the shaving is all the same: pity eyes. It is just hair I know, and it will grow, but this whole thing was just so frustrating. And the customer service from that grooming side is nothing like the one from the pet sale side. I didn't buy my pup from Heavenly Puppies, but since I've found this place, I do bring her faithfully to their groomer Gabrielle every month. No one - not even my New York groomer -cuts my Mini Schnauzer's hair, as well as Gabrielle, does. She bathes her in some heavenly smelling organic bath salts. Cleans her ears and teeth, cuts her nails, and blows her dry. Beyond how beautiful my pet looks, she seems so happy to visit.
