Woof Dogs helped us to make our dog a more manageable and meaningful member of our family. Shay…read morewas fantastic when we did the intake with him before Boot Camp. He immediately had Honey's respect! (If only it were true for us). We knew we were at the right place! We dropped her off for her 2 week stay and she pranced right off with Lena! I missed her terribly but it was WORTH IT!! She learned so much in that 2 week time period! My daughters and grandchildren noticed a difference! We did the one on one training after with Shay. He had Honey's number and OURS! He knew how to train us to do more! He has a great program with fabulous people. I can't forget Melissa who answered the phone every time this dog mom called. WOOF DOGS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

I felt the sessions the trainer provided us were kind of weak and basic, during the course of 5 months the office or the trainer canceled several times. I paid for 10 sessions and got 7 sessions all of which I was told were supposed to be 1-hour sessions but never got more than 45 mins total per session. I called a few weeks ago after no contact from their main office or trainer for a month asking what was going on and for a refund, but they haven't responded other than to know they don't offer refunds. I feel their main office and trainers do not do a good job of contacting you and my dog is still terribly scared of other dogs and has made little improvement.

Awesome, awesome experience for me and my dog Big Daddy…read more my big, 2.5 yr old boy was going crazy when new people came around. He was jumpy, it was hard for me to control him and it was offensive to others because he weighs 65 lbs. i like fixing things, so we put ourselves through training with Mike & Champion Dog Training. At the first lesson i was excited and felt great leaving, but during the first week i was scared to enforce because doggie was sensitive to the collar. Mike gave me a little pep talk over the phone and we made it to our 2nd lesson. I cannot get him into a down/stay using force, Mike says Im soft on him, but he's doing great with everything else we learned. Stay, Stand, Sit, Heel, he's a very smart boy & im very proud. We have continued practicing even after completing the 4 week course. I now feel confident I can control him and there has been a shift in Big D., like he knows I expect more and is waiting on my que. Even his dog walker said he has really improved and she did not know he was training.

He's been available for questions and guidance and we are so grateful. Our pup loves Carlos and we can see a difference in her behavior and our ability to help her and train her to be a happy & obedient dog. It's as much training the owner as the dog and Carlos has been excellent and beyond valuable in making us better dog owners and being able to communicate with the newest member of our family. We highly recommend Carlos if you are looking to train your dog and learn about how to be a great dog owner.

From his website I expected a really stern militant type but he's like a silly, easy going Caesar Millan. Every session we go over 3-4 things that I want my puppy to learn (ex. Greeting ppl nicely, leave it, come) & I just stare in awe that my dog is actually listening to someone and responding to each command that I've been trying to teach him his entire life. Then he'll let you give the command and point out the things you need to tweak without making you feel like an idiot. He just makes everything looks so easy! Truly a pro. I would recommend to anyone looking for a trainer. As a side note I was also impressed by his intake questionnaire and formal contract totaling about 10 pages. This questionnaire requested info thoroughly detailing the dog's personality, behavior, goals, vet info, preferred treats, etc.

Do you want me to continue for the next 1/2 hour (addtional $50.00) It is very important that I teach him "The Attention Game" I said YES, you told me over the phone how important it is. THE ATTENTION GAME = Call puppy's name, get eye contact, give treat. Lindy spent about 5-8mins with my puppy. I was taken for $150.00 She sent me an email outlining The Attention Game (big deal). I was scammed, she is a good talker.

If you want to train your dog, and you are willing to do the work, she is as good as it gets! We had a Shiba Inu, a rather tough dog to train, and Lindy was patient and wonderful working with me and our Shiba. We had him (Shiba) for almost 15 years and every day was incredible because of the work Lindy did WITH us. For those that want to "wish upon a star" and "hope" their dog is just trained overnight, it does not work like that. Lindy is a hands on instructor, but you have to put in the time and EFFORT to work with your dog everyday! I called Lindy again 5 years after our Shiba to train our rescue dog Max and once again she was incredible. This time we did "in home" and class setting and once again, with absolutely wonderful results. We just recently (2 weeks ago) adopted another Shiba and before she came home the FIRST call I made was to Lindy to schedule "in home" training. At 11 weeks, she can now "sit", "leave it", "down", "go outside", "inside", and "Sadie" (name recognition). And this was just ONE session. I am a raving fan of Lindy Nolan Dog Training and would say to anyone who may have anything less than "pawsitive" things to say....you may want to ask yourself, "How much work did YOU do?" I personally, would never bring a dog into my home without using Lindy and "Pawsitive" training methods. Ever.
