Bijan and ORA Dog Training helped our little dog Oscar so much. Oscar is a sweet little guy, but a stubborn one and we needed Bijan's help badly. Oscar spent the 3 weeks with ORA and he truly is a much easier and much more well behaved little guy. Bijan is also a great guy, respectful and professional, and was very easy to work with. All in all it's been a great experience, and I would recommend him and his 3 week program 100 percent. read more

We had an incredible experience with ORA dog training ! Their natural ability with dogs is truly impressive, we saw a difference in both our dog's behavior and confidence. What stood out most was how much we learned--how to properly handle our dog, understand their behavior, and communicate in a way that works. Thanks to this training, taking our dog out is no longer a stressful task--it's something we genuinely enjoy. That feeling of calm and control is amazing, and it's all thanks to the Bijan's guidance and support. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional who not only works well with dogs, but also empowers owners read more

I would highly recommend ORA Dog Training, in particular, the Board and Train Program. In my opinion, this option is the most convenient and effective form of training. It provides a solid foundation to build on, avoiding the frustration that can come with starting from scratch on one's own. The 5 star reviews that influenced my decision to choose ORA Dog Training are well deserved. My dog's behavior has changed DRAMATICALLY. She is well on her way to becoming the kind of dog that I can enjoy walking with in any situation. I say "well on her way" because although she is completely obedient to Bijan and his trainers, it is now my job to continue that training and build on what they have accomplished. I have to show her that I am also going to enforce the same structure and obedience as well. As I consistently use the tools Bijan has given me, she is consistently obedient. More importantly, she is more calm, more at ease at home and on walks. Bijan didn't just train my dog, he trained me. He educated me so that I now understand what my dog really needs and how to provide the discipline that creates a happy, well behaved dog. He empowered me to become the leader and trainer to my dog. read more

I researched a lot of trainers for months and kept going back to ORA Dog training . The board and training program was without a doubt the right choice for our family and I am so glad we did it . Bijan is very knowledgeable and mastered his craft , he is very gentle and affectionate with the dogs - and I am convinced he is some sort of dog whisperer . We have a high energy boxer puppy that is stubborn and very playful and it had been a challenge to install good behaviors . Bijan did an incredible job in training our Luna , was very patient and through explaining all the commands to our family and how to properly handle her in different scenarios , showing us how to effectively change behaviors and how to enforce all Luna learned during the trainning. Bijan and his team are absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier with the results. read more

We found Bijan (ORA Dog Training) mostly by accident, as we were really concerned about our dog's behavior and needed someone we trusted to help. What a blessing it was that we found him! He and his team are kind and understanding. They recognize and intuitively adjust their approach based on their expert knowledge of dogs and their human parents! There is so much to share, but here is the bottom line: the training made a significant difference, and while not inexpensive, from our perspective, it was worth every penny. Is it tough leaving your dog/fur-baby with a 'stranger' for three weeks - it sure is. To help with our angst, we received regular video updates, and Bijan is extremely responsive when we sent messages/questions. This gave us comfort that he was in a loving environment (it is actually a family home). Our dog is far less anxious, and we are actually in charge of the relationship (in the past, it felt like he had trained us--and he had!). We also learned so much from Bijan in terms of why certain behaviors exist and how to work with your dog to ensure he does his job (which is, as we now understand, to be there for us, to be cute, cuddly, and well-behaved). Murray (our dog) is four years old, and we did not think it was possible to change his behaviors (growling, not listening, barking like crazy, etc.), but in just 21 days, he is no longer exhibiting the worst of those behaviors. Yes, we need to keep the training going, which is key. If you are not willing to keep it going, then you will have wasted your money. In our case, we are learning as our dog does. We are so grateful and would not hesitate to recommend ORA Dog Training--it has made a huge difference to the quality of life in our home (both for the two-legged and four-legged residents!). Thank you ORA - amazing work. read more

I was looking for someone to train my dog, and when I googled and read reviews, Ora Dog Training had the best reviews. When I called to get more information, I spoke with Bijan. After talking with him, I was sure that Bijan was the perfect trainer for Snoopy. Bijan did a great job training my dog. Snoopy is a wonderful dog, but she pulled on the leash, could never be taught to lie down, and could never be trusted to walk off-leash. In her enthusiasm, she also loved jumping on guests. I loved the videos Bijan sent of Snoopy's progress. After three weeks with Bijan, she is now a pleasure to walk. She follows commands to stay and down, is good off-leash, and greets guests appropriately. Before taking Snoopy home, Bijan provided a three-hour training program to ensure I had the necessary skills to maintain all the new abilities once she returned home. I highly recommend Bijan to anyone who wants a well-trained dog. read more

I learned the hard way the English bulldogs are stubborn and very difficult to train. I was ready to give up but decided to give ORA Dog Training a try. I can't say enough good things about the results! My dog Loki is a totally new dog. I tried another trainer that would visit the house for about an hour when we would call but nothing ever stuck. Seriously, pick ORA Dog Training. You won't regret it! read more

I found Bijan and ORA Dog Training after some research through Google/internet searches. I was looking for someone that could help my mom with her 100 pound, sweet but crazy Labrador. I had used a trainer for my previous dog in Alaska which changed my life so I started looking for someone in S. Florida for Bruno with similar training methods. Bruno went through the board and train program where he spent a few weeks at Bijans home and training facility. Bijan was kind and patient with my mom. Bijan and ORA are literal life changers. My husband who is hard to impress, was blown away by Bijans training (of both the dog AND us). We can actually go out and walk Bruno and enjoy it. Thank you Bijan and Danny for such amazing work, training and service. I highly recommend Bijan to anyone who is looking for a top notch trainer in Florida. read more

We highly recommend ORA Dog Training. We researched to find a trainer who would guide us with the behavioral issues our Goldendoodle was having. We found Bijan and enrolled him in the board and training program for three weeks. He keeps you updated on the progress by sending videos and messages. Our dog was struggling with anxiety, pulling the leash very strongly, unable to relax, and afraid of loud noises. It was a very stressful situation, even though he is a sweet boy. Bijan worked with him on setting boundaries, impulse control, and establishing rules, as well as learning confidence in himself and his handlers. We are very satisfied with the results. Enjoying peaceful walks, even with high distractions, and letting us guide him on a daily basis. Thank you, Bijan! read more

We had our Oliver a miniature Australian Shepard for about two years. We expected a happy, active, confident dog. However, our Oliver was extremely anxious of everything. He would bolt, hide in bushes, shake uncontrollably on every "walk"...and "walk" meaning us trying to make it as fast as possible to the grass and back inside to not have any anxious meltdowns. He was scared of everything, people, sounds, signs, cars, wind (yes wind). It was exhausting and we tried everything. E-collar based training was not my first choice, truly because I was not educated enough on it. Bijan truly went out of his way to make sure we knew the in's and out's of confidence training and being the best fur parents. He kept Oliver longer than 21 days (no extra charge) to make sure Oliver returned to a place where we could continue his training with success. Since we got Oliver back ...close to 3 weeks ago we have been consistent in his training and he continues to progress! Most importantly we can walk him now! I truly didn't think this was possible, but Bijan did an outstanding job. Oliver has more structure in the home which translates to outside, I can tell that Oliver trust me and my husband more when we go on walks. I would 10000% Recommend this program. You will not regret it. Thank you SO much Bijan. Monica & Lester read more

My great dane was way too strong headed for me to train. So I started looking for trainers in my area. I couldnt find any that fit my standards. So I extended my search to all of Fl. To my delight I found ORA even though Bijan was on the opposite side of the state 575 miles away, I knew this was the person I wanted to train my dog. Bijan and his training made my dog Buster very obedient without taking away the playful, loving side of him. If I could I would give Bijans ORA training a million star review. Trust me you will not be disappointed if you choose Bijan. read more

Bijan did an incredible job training our miniature dachshund, helping to improve her walking behavior, reduce her anxiety and better socialize with other dogs. He took care to update us with videos throughout her boarding and provide a comprehensive training course before we took her home. I am grateful for Bijan and his excellent team, and would recommend him for anyone looking to improve their dogs behavior. read more

Millie arrived at training a playful 6 month old pup, and returned a playful pup with "manners "! Yay!!! ORA taught her commands that I can use in real life, like behaving at a restaurant, in addition to the basics that pup training involves. (Sit, heel, etc.). IRA knows how to get the job done in a kind and loving way. They sent videos of her training, while she was on her 3 week adventure. I'm thrilled with her progress, and highly recommend ORA. read more

ORA dog training did a great job with our Aussiekai. When we first brought him to Bijan he was wild, peed in the house, and wouldn't listen. Now he is much calmer, listens to commands, and goes to the bathroom on command. Thank you so much for everything! read more

Ziggy was a bit scary for my wife ,who was initially scared of dogs ,but agreed to bring Ziggy home. My wife now loves Ziggy and calls him her baby. Bijan was professional, patient , and knowledgeable. We would absolutely recommend his services and be warned ,you will absolutely love him. Very knowledgeable trainer and is kind to the pups he trains. Our rescue dog was a heavy puller on the leash as well as needed other manners. They completely transformed him. No pulling. Sits/stays/gets in down position and holds these positions until called. They have made our life so much easier. As they said, the next steps are on us to build the proper memory. read more

My Reese came from an abusive situation and has had some reactivity issues. These escalated recently during our relocation process and it became evident that his needs were beyond my abilities and our previous training. Once we arrived in Florida, I searched for someone who provided one on one residency training and found Bijan. I knew from our first conversation that he was the man for my boy. Bijan not only got Reese over a huge hurdle, he has also give me the tools and ongoing support and encouragement I need to continue in reinforcing all he learned. Bijan was recommended to my partner and I because of his work with a friend's dog. He was very flexible, and allowed us to schedule our appointments on a different day/time each week because of our ever-changing work schedules (night shift and day shift). He gave clear and simple instructions for each session and gave good tips on how to handle different behavioral scenarios. Bijan was very available for advice during and even after our training sessions. Bijan's best advice to us about structure and generally keeping our dog calm has stayed true to this day. Our relationship with our dog has changed from allowing her to do anything and everything as a puppy, to having a calm, but still playful and happy, puppy. read more

I was seeing some habits forming in my 1.5-year-old German Shepard-Poodle mix (Zuzu) that were becoming worrisome and that I knew could lead to bigger issues if not addressed properly and quickly. As a seasoned dog owner who had self-trained my dogs in the past I was pulling out all my skills, but I was making no progress with Zuzu's avoidance/shut-down/passively stubborn personality -very different than all the dogs I had trained in the past and was beyond my skill set. This coupled with the fact that I was now a full-time RVer and every 10 days I am in a new location/environment I had to be in a position to know and trust how Zuzu was going to respond in most situations and that I could handle issues when the came-up. After a ton of research and talking with other trainers I found Bijan (ORA Dog Training). I enrolled Zuzu in his 21-day Intensive Program and adjusted my schedule so I could be in Florida. Not even a full week after I dropped Zuzu off we went into COVID-19 shutdown. Bijan and I talked several times during the weeks that followed, because he was not able to take Zuzu into the normal social setting (beach, skate park, etc.). I will be honest I was a little apprehensive because he was not able to fully immerse Zuzu into the social setting she was struggling with prior to going to train with Bij. WOW - what Bijon (ORA Dog Training) did was provide an unbelievable foundation... Zuzu now understands what she is supposed to do and what is expected from her when I give her a command. More importantly Bijan helped me understand that it KEY that I provide Zuzu with not only a command but direction... his 4-way stop analogy. It has been 2 -months post training with Bijan and we continue train every day, but now I know Zuzu and I have the tools to tackle any problem we face. Thanks, Bijan for your help and for continuing to check-in on us. read more

We had a great experience with ORA Dog Training. Mika is more comfortable with her sorrounding and around other people. Thanks Bijan.

There were lots of trainers to choose from, but I chose Bijan to help teach me and my Brussels Griffon puppy, Paddington Bear! Bijan was the finest example of a caring, patient, person. He is knowledgeable, gentle, very kind, especially with me, as I am the one who had to learn in order to teach the pup! He always was on time. Always could be found, completely honest, man of his word, and most of all, and incredible trainer. I would recommend Bijan to all my friends. Bijan and his apprentices COMPLETELY transformed my two pitts Bravo (45lb) and Saint (65lb). Before, they were out of control, sometimes even lashing out at each other, and for Bravo, at pretty much anything that moved or made a sound she didn't recognize. While she still has some work to do really cinching the idea that everything isn't out to get her or her owners, she is so much less reactive and less anxious and able to self regulate even if she does have a slip up, we have had guests over and she has been a marvel compared to before, relaxed and more self assured. While Saint is a always a sweetheart, before, he had no boundaries, would counter surf, and used his size to bully and ignore others. Bijan brought them back to us with all the ground work in place and it has completely changed my relationship to them, now there is not only love, but respect and partnership, they are a joy to walk and they hang out calmly inside the house and are overall so much less stressed/stressful. Thanks Bijan! read more

I was lucky enough to have met Bijan through a very close mutual friend, and had the opportunity to spend some quality time with him before even discussing dog training of any kind. One day, while complaining about my dog's pulling problem, Bijan and several other friends encouraged me to bring my beast to Bijan and the fix would be quick and simple. I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first, I had done a decent amount of research, am lucky to have a dog who is a fast learner, and (unbiasedly) pretty intelligent. To give you some additional color, I did not walk the beast, the beast 100% walked me. I was always nervous that he would see something of interest and take off without me being able to control him. Dangerous for both of us. Additionally, walking the beast was an absolute misery..until..our first session with Bijan. After just one session, a few quick walking and communication fixes, the beast was walking like the well behaved stud I knew he could be! He stands right at my side, no longer pulls me into every bush and towards every dog we meet - the transformation was INCREDIBLE. Working with Bijan over the subsequent weeks taught me that I really did not understand how to communicate properly with my dog, and that the messages I might be sending him - and he was sending me - were being misinterpreted on both ends. I am so thankful for having the chance to work with Bijan and for helping him transform my relationship with my dog into a healthier and better communicated one! Bijan's knowledge is extremely extensive and I feel so fortunate that I was able to meet such a competent, wonderful dog trainer prior to our first lesson together. I recommend him with absolutely no reservations! And if I'm being honest, from other dog trainer quotes, his pricing is UNBELIEVABLY reasonable, and he comes right to you. Do yourself and your fury friend a favor and take a class or two with Bijan. read more

Bijan's approach to dog training is very pragmatic and focused on communicating in a style that is accessible to your dog. My 5.5 month old puppy spent a week with Bijan for board and train. Our walks are much better. She responded to well to his approach and has stopped pulling and running up to every dog and person on the street. I feel like the greater challenge than Bijan's training of Bindi was the training he had to do with me, but he was patient and encouraging and eventually I got the hang of it! The time he takes to pass on his work to you is the most valuable part of the experience. We will be back again soon for another week! read more

We chose ORA Dog Training after researching dog training programs in the area, reading the reviews, and then speaking with a few dog owners who had used Bijan to train their dog. Frankly, it was the dog owner's enthusiasm that sold on the program. We knew that it was best for both us and our rescue pup Koko to get trained. We did the boarding training and, although we missed the dog, this was the absolute right decision. Bijan took an extremely fearful dog and helped her to better adapt to the world. Koko would not even say "boo" to my husband before the training and now her tail wags and doesn't shy away. Our dog went to Bijan knowing no commands and being extremely fearful. The dog he returned to us has more confidence, and really looks to us to help guide her through her days. Training both the dog and the owner has taught us both the value of discipline in living out lives together. We enthusiastically recommend ORA Dog Training! read more

Not sure where to start but Bijan has been our saving grace. My husband and I rescued a 2.5 year old dog from the Manhattan ACC in the Spring of 2015. After meeting her and falling in love we brought her home. All of her behavioral tests were great per the shelter so did not think twice about adding her to our family. As soon as we got her to our apartment we quickly realized this was not the case and that this poor dog had been abused and was very fear aggressive with both people and other dogs. She was very ill with pneumonia when we adopted her so it was not until we nursed her back to health that her true personality and fears came through to their full extent. Not going to lie I was scared the first few months not knowing how to handle this situation and in one of my breaking moments I found B&B Dogworks on Yelp and gave him a call. He stayed on the phone with me that night for 45 minutes, asking questions, giving sound advice and reassuring me that it would be OK. At that point we had not signed up for any lessons but this is just the type of person Bijan is and the type of business he runs. Needless to say he is not only our dog trainer still almost 2 years later but a friend as well. We could not even walk our dog Puck when we first got her and now she is a great pack walker. Bijan does in home training weekly so that Puck is in her environment along with board and trains when we need to go out of town. He is ALWAYS there. We have made major progress and have learned alot about rescues along the way. In time we have worked on her confidence and shown her that people are not scary. She can with proper introductions now interact nicely with other dogs and is getting used to visitors coming into our home. We cannot thank Bijan enough for what he has done and continues to do. A true professional who lives, breathes and truly loves and understands dogs. read more
