Later when we went to pick him up the manager looked at the cameras she said my dog was in the corner and the other dog came up and attacked him. So she lied on the phone. I asked her if it was bad and I needed to pick him up. She said it was a little scratch. He sat in a crate the entire day. When we picked him up he has a gash that was bleeding and goosing everywhere. We brought him to the vet right away and he now has a staple in his nose, is on pain meds and antibiotics. He is so lethargic and nose is swollen. I am deeply disappointed with how they handled the situation and lied to us multiple times. I will not be bringing my dog back here and I hope that the other dog is not allowed back here either. *first picture is his nose when we picked him up, second picture is after the vet visit*

At the first lesson i was excited and felt great leaving, but during the first week i was scared to enforce because doggie was sensitive to the collar. Mike gave me a little pep talk over the phone and we made it to our 2nd lesson. I cannot get him into a down/stay using force, Mike says Im soft on him, but he's doing great with everything else we learned. Stay, Stand, Sit, Heel, he's a very smart boy & im very proud. We have continued practicing even after completing the 4 week course. I now feel confident I can control him and there has been a shift in Big D., like he knows I expect more and is waiting on my que. Even his dog walker said he has really improved and she did not know he was training.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at Pet Lover Central in Boca Raton was…read moretroubling enough that I feel other dog owners should be aware. From the start, communication was disorganized. I had already sent in my dogs' vaccine records, yet I was asked to resend them because staff couldn't access the email address I was originally told to use. This was frustrating and felt like an unnecessary waste of time. When I picked up my dogs, several issues raised serious concerns for me. Their bed was returned broken, some of their toys were missing, none of their food was given back, and all of their treats were untouched which made me question what level of care they actually received during their stay. For a bill of nearly $900 for just three and a half days, I expected far better. What made the situation worse was the lack of urgency in addressing these concerns. Days went by without resolution, leaving me feeling that my time and my dogs' well-being were not valued. This was not the experience I anticipated, and based on what happened, I cannot recommend this facility. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because no pet owner should have to feel this way after trusting a business with their animals.

Our dog has been snap to angry irritation lately. Our vet recommended classes. Dynamite came recommended not just by the vet but by friends. The rate was a few bucks but there were others with crazy higher rates. Our first class or 2 were good. Our dog does like a game and was so happy learning the commands via games and rewards. Our instructor recommended for social skills to maybe switch to 1/2 or full day visits. A doggie day school. We switched to that. It's been a couple weeks now and its been good. They work hard to train him. They post videos, many of which are on line before we even pick him up. It gives us the joy of seeing how much fun he is having. He is always looking so happy learning(and getting treats). I'm glad Dynamite Dog Training was recommended to us, its worked out well.

I felt the sessions the trainer provided us were kind of weak and basic, during the course of 5 months the office or the trainer canceled several times. I paid for 10 sessions and got 7 sessions all of which I was told were supposed to be 1-hour sessions but never got more than 45 mins total per session. I called a few weeks ago after no contact from their main office or trainer for a month asking what was going on and for a refund, but they haven't responded other than to know they don't offer refunds. The front door is locked for a reason, no puppy gets in or out, unless the owner is in control of the situation. The owner keeps meticulous records on all of her clients, notes about how long, how short, how curly the last cut was, what looked good, what did the owner/parent like, what did not work well. These notes are all laid out meticulously on the desk for the day's clients, like little health records, ready for the patients of the day. This is a one-person operation, so all activities are performed by the owner, the wash/dry/cut/pedicure/tooth-brush/etc. Make a reservation at least a week in advance, but sometimes a hole in her schedule will open up and you will be honored to get a coveted spot.
