Brought my dog to daycare today. I got a call at 9:27am that he was attacked. On the phone she told…read moreme they were playing and it got out of hand. Later when we went to pick him up the manager looked at the cameras she said my dog was in the corner and the other dog came up and attacked him. So she lied on the phone. I asked her if it was bad and I needed to pick him up. She said it was a little scratch. He sat in a crate the entire day. When we picked him up he has a gash that was bleeding and goosing everywhere. We brought him to the vet right away and he now has a staple in his nose, is on pain meds and antibiotics. He is so lethargic and nose is swollen. I am deeply disappointed with how they handled the situation and lied to us multiple times. I learned how to control situations and not let it escalate. After a few more sessions, my two dogs and the cats get along now. My two dogs can eat side by side. But the real test was at the doggie park where Lillet was watching other dogs get treats and was calm. She was also fine when I gave her treats and other dogs wanted some too.

I took my dog Riley to meet with…read moreshay who recommended us to one of his trainers for in-home training on feb 4, I explained that my dog was very smart and obedient, but I wanted a safe way to get him used to other dogs because Riley freaks out every time we take him on a walk when he sees another dog. I felt the sessions the trainer provided us were kind of weak and basic, during the course of 5 months the office or the trainer canceled several times. I paid for 10 sessions and got 7 sessions all of which I was told were supposed to be 1-hour sessions but never got more than 45 mins total per session. I called a few weeks ago after no contact from their main office or trainer for a month asking what was going on and for a refund, but they haven't responded other than to know they don't offer refunds. I feel their main office and trainers do not do a good job of contacting you and my dog is still terribly scared of other dogs and has made little improvement.

We rescued our pittie, Tilly, in Pennsylvania after she had been left outside for seven months and…read morewithout food for at least several weeks. After spending two weeks with us there, we drove with her to Florida, where we are living for four months. Tilly is incredibly sweet, but she struggled with pulling on the leash, barking, reactivity, and listening. She also had no door manners when guests arrived. We reached out to Avi, and he responded immediately, offering guidance and--most importantly--hope. We saw results during Avi's very first visit, where we focused on confident loose-leash walking and door manners. Over the course of the month, not only did Tilly's confidence soar, but our confidence as handlers improved dramatically as well. We can now walk Tilly confidently on a loose leash, and she truly is a perfect lady. She reliably "leaves" high-value toys and treats when directed and has shown tremendous improvement at the door. While we are still working on her stay and recall, Avi gave us the tools and knowledge to continue mastering those skills. Avi is kind, humane, and clearly passionate about what he does--we affectionately call him "the dog whisperer." He formed an instant bond with Tilly the moment he walked into our home. Avi understands the behavioral differences between breeds and took the time to see Tilly as an individual, thoughtfully considering her history of abuse while also understanding who we are as owners.
