For the past decades I've lived in the Valley we've always used Two Men and A Truck when we move…read moreand they do a perfectly fine job. This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

I hired movers from this company who originally had a 2.0/5.0 rating. I had the worst experience. I…read morewas quoted $415 for a 2 bedroom with one bed, no dressers, the other room was used as an office. I was quoted a minimum of $415 which included 3 hours and a $40 surcharge. First, the owner never sent me a written quote. They were fast; however, one of the movers whose name was Miles, scared me by yelling to the top of his lungs out of frustration because he couldn't get the bed together because he had all of the screws tightened and anyone who puts together anything would know bit to tighten the screws all the way until those screws are in the correct holes and then you screw them in. I went in the room to give him that tip but was scared the entire time he was in my house due to his behavior. Then when they got done, the paperwork showed that I was being charged an extra hour of travel time when my move was less than 15 minutes apart and I was told that they needed to stop at Walmart to get T-shirts. I made the payment in full along with an additional $60 because I just believe in tipping and always have, besides the other guy was excellent. Great customer service and he was friendly the entire time. Any way, I went through the contract after they had left and noticed that there was nothing in the contract that stated that I would owe a 1 hour transportation fee now was I ever told this verbally. So, a day after the move, I sent the owner a message and he proceeded to go back and forth with me. However the most disturbing message was the one below verbatim: "I'm so sorry you're so broke that you can't pay the movers for a move that they did well for you. Send me your address. I'll bring you cash next week. I would love to meet you." This company is way to green and they need to learn some customer service skills before doing business with the public. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

My modem is permanently tilted as it's not meant to tilt sideways. There is also a scratch on the monitor. I can't afford another computer after what was charged for this move. They didn't care when they were throwing things into a giant box with rollers under it. Just kept piling my items on top of other items.

Thank you for the corporate response of repeating unhelpful information. After months of reaching…read moreout and following up your company's failure to follow up; your "customer-focused solutions" team informed me the claim is denied and will stay denied. They then said that even if it was approved, I "wouldn't be reimbursed much, only like $60 dollars, based on the $/lb rate." Thanks, I already knew the reimbursement rates were pathetic, that's not the point. Your company value of "customer-focused solutions" is literally worth less than $60. Your movers broke our stuff, hid all the evidence, and did not inform us of any damage. The claims department then strings us along for months saying they "will make it right", and, "someone will be in contact to fix this", only to play hard to catch, deny it and say it will stay denied, and then tell me it's not a big deal. My fault for believing the verbiage on your website. I thought the "professional movers" would at least be honest enough to speak up when they broke something and I didn't need to babysit or record them every step of the way. Also my fault for not making them unload furniture from the fully loaded truck when they finished; so I could climb in and inspect underneath every protective cover for evidence of damage intentionally hidden by the movers. Completely my fault. Thank you for your understanding of my situation. Good job on pretending to be helpful while saving your company $60 and costing me an extra $600.
