Dentist or Angel? Both! All my life I have had anxiety and fear because of bad early experiences with dentists, related to an immunity to the pain drugs available in the past. Dr. Bolton made me believe in painless dentistry. The Willowdaile office has the most up-to-date technology on hand, as well as a thorough knowledge of options for patients with special needs...be they physical, mental or emotional...or in my case, all of the above. During my recent visits to Dr. Bolton's office, it has been very obvious to me that every person on staff - from the front office, to the assistants, to Dr. Bolton herself - is genuinely concerned about me, my health and the experience I have in the practice from the moment I hit the door until the moment I leave. Every member of my family and every friend I can have any influence with will be a patient at Willowdaile Family Dentistry. I really wish I had the opportunity to have such excellent dental car all of my life...I will certainly make sure that Dr. Bolton and her crew are a part of my present and my future. If you are within driving distance of Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Bolton should be your dentist, too. read more

It was amazing and I have been in customer service for 10 years plus years when I say they are amazing they are amazing. I recommend everyone to go there. No ma'am! You all did not say you would do the crown at no charge or else I would not even be commenting. I did not deny the cleanings were good for years and my time is way too important to waste. However, I expressed my grievance and was sent along my way. At that point the trust I had was broken. However, what would be appropriate is to reimburse me for a crown at the dentist of my choice. read more

I won't be going back to this office. The hygienist talked the entire time she cleaned my teeth. She talked about her ex-husband, her son, her sick mom, her goals and plans, other dentist's she worked for, it was non-stop. blah blah blah-dity blah! I was already anxious about going to a new dentist and her incessant chatter made the appointment unbearable. At one point I was almost in tears from the stress of having her chattering, and the pain from the scraping. On there website they list all these "comforts" they provide. Noise cancelling headphones, movies, lip balm, neck pillows, etc. Sounds great, right? Well, none of these were offered, even after I mentioned to the hygienist and the dentist that I was anxious. Very disappointing. The other thing I don't appreciate is that I would not be able to form a relationship with a dentist here. They move between offices and you basically get who you get. read more

Prior to arriving, I made the office staff aware that I had dental insurance. (It is from one of the largest employers in Durham) I sent them my records from my last dentist. Upon arrival, I was told that everything was covered 100%. I informed that I had just had X-rays, but the couldn't "find" the records and said, might as well get them again, it's all covered. As I was developing the plan of care, I was informed I had to pay extra, because they are "out of network". I asked why they hadn't told me? They didn't have an answer.i am now receiving bills. I called the office manager and she took no ownership. Her statement? Well, you're responsible. I would bet they pull this a lot. She was incredibly rude. STAY AWAY. read more

I had been a patient here for several years. I had a $200 revolving credit on my account for 2 years. In February of 2017, I requested a true up of what was available. I couldn't get a clear answer, because my entire family used the office and there was always an open claim. They also appeared to have internal accounting issues with everything being entered at another office and the office manager position turned over. Recently I was in a car accident and my tooth was fractured and would require an extraction. Again, I inquired what the available credit was and couldn't get a straight answer. Nobody would email as promised or call me back, and I had to show up in person to get a statement. My disappointment was that in a time when I felt the worse, and needed my dentist to support me they were unresponsive. I am still waiting on my credit check. read more

Many communication errors every time I come in and they hound you about your appointments via text, e-mail, phone call. It's way too much. Now that Dr. Green is gone there's no reason for me to go back and suffer their system. You are seen quickly and efficiently, but not worth the lack of care / conscientiousness and the feeling of actually being taken care of rather than put on the assembly line of dentistry! read more

Great service from great people! I would strongly recommend Willowdaile Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dentist.

These guys are the best! I don't think I've ever been to a nicer and more caring dentist. And they're very practical about things as well, I've never felt like they were ripping me off or pressuring me into getting work done I didn't need. I'd highly recommend to anyone. read more

Coming to See Dr. Green and the wonderful Dental Assistants at Family Dentistry was like a breath of fresh air!! Dr. Green was sweet, knowledgeable and kind! They treated us with respect, courtesy, kindness and patience! The front desk staff was amazing as well! Margarite was so sweet and helpful, a very upbeat and positive attitude!! I needed this, especially, after the experience I had at Dr. Jean Wood's office in Chapel Hill at Community Smiles Dentistry! (See reviews on here!) My kids even had a good time, a good time at the dentist!?! Yes, I said it! I would recommend them to everyone I know!! This is how it should be done! THEY WERE THE BEST!!!!! 5 read more

Avoid the disingenuous broken English of the check in staff that has serious communication issues. Be prepared for hidden charges and extra tacked on unneeded services. I can see why the waiting room and parking lot was empty, I will never go back how many have they done this way? read more

After a bad experience with a dentist in my teenage years, I avoided the dentist office at all costs until I absolutely needed assistance. That has changed now. With every visit, the entire team at Willowdaile Family Dentistry made me feel welcomed upon arriving. They are genuinely friendly and care about their clients. Knowing how nervous I was, Dr. Vincas Sidrys and his assistants, Brandi and Angie, put me at ease while working on my teeth. They were very patient with me when I needed a break. With each visit, whether it was for a cleaning, fixing a cavity, adding crowns or pulling tooth they all put me at ease and made sure to answer any questions I had before and after treatment. Before leaving after every visit, clear aftercare directions were given with the instruction to call if I had any concerns or pain which of course I did not. I was really impressed how they would call to check how I was doing after some of my treatments. If you are a person that hates to visit dentists due to past experiences, visit Willowdaile Family Dentistry and let them change your point of view. Without a doubt, I would recommend this office to anyone needing dental care. Thank you, Dr. Sidrys and Team! read more

Best dentist in Durham! Great office atmosphere, awesome hygienists and Dr. Bolton is the best!

i never thought i'd say this but... this was the best trip to the dentist i've ever had. they were extremely nice and chatty, friendly, took great care in their work, talked to me with respect, and is in network for BCBS which is super convenient (and has been hard for me to find). I couldn't compliment them enough. i immediately made an appointment for my husband and son as well. read more

Fantastic people, great services, probably the best experience I could have had for the problems I came in for. I had terrible pain in a rotted tooth, another abscessed tooth that was cracked and needed to be pulled. Also a chipped front tooth and another that had been ground down and was affecting my bite. In addition I hadn't been to a dentist in years and needed a cleaning badly. They completed all this work in a couple months and it was as thorough and professional an experience as you could ask for. Dr. Matthew Garcia Is a great Dentist and has a great manner and skill to perform all of the procedures I required. The hygienists and assistants were fantastic, caring, skilled and knowledgeable. They made every visit and process so enjoyable. Their front desk staff was very friendly, kind and kept me updated and informed of all billing and appointments. "Thank you Willowdale Family Denistry for the great experience!" read more

Dr Bolton and staff are wonderful! They are always friendly and caring. Dr Bolton and Dr Lee have both been angels. I first went to them a couple of years ago for an emergency appointment. At that time, they treated me like I was the only patient they had and seemed genuinely concerned with my pain and went over and above to see I was taken care of. Dr. B even gave me her cell number to call if I had a problem over the weekend. I would and have highly recommended this practice to others! read more

Wow. Super impressed. I have not been to a dentist in years and do not have insurance. After chipping two fillings I finally gave in and called. The receptionists are awesome, friendly and gave me an exact quote for my first visit. Once I was there they were just as friendly. The hygienist was also super friendly, did a great job handling my gag reflex by giving me a smaller xray sensor and smaller bite wings. She was very kind and very gentle. After my xrays and cleaning Dr. Bolten did an exam and very carefully explained my options with absolutely no pressure. She explained the "why's" for the recommended procedures so they made since. She was also very friendly, like the rest of the staff I met. She talked about insurance pros and con's and Heather at the front desk did a great job of that too. I was then given a detailed treatment plan with the costs to help me decided where and what to do. Again, very impressed, I really recommend this dentist! read more

Dr. Bolton has an amazing positive attitude towards her patients and staff to the point that she can make everybody feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Bolton does outstanding cosmetic work, she can match the color of a filling or crown exactly like the tooth next to it. She really does have an amazing eye for detail. read more

The dentist and the hygienist were very nice and professional. However, I am 9 months pregnant with a very sensitive gag reflex and could not do the x-rays. While I was there they cleaned my teeth and I had an exam by the dentist. So they would not code or label the service as a full exam but stated that it was a limited exam. I understand that it was my first visit but I told them I could do the x-rays after the baby. It did not matter they ran it not as a periodic exam (which it basically was except for x-rays) but as a limited exam which made me responsible for 53 dollars because limited exams are only covered at 80% by insurance. They did not go over this with me in the office but called over the phone and simply asked for my card information. I will find another dentist that will be a little more understanding. I am nurse and understand that policies have to be followed but this is appalling. read more

I went in with my first toothache which was unbearable. I never go to the dentist because I am terrified of them, but the pain was bad enough to go. They offered emergency hours in the mornings so that they can fit people like me in. They were able to xray my tooth and see that I had a cavity. I figured it would be days or weeks before they would be able to fill it, but they filled it for me right after they found it. Dr. Green and Jessica did a great job of telling me exactly what was happening and they were really nice. Everyone that checked me in, got my xrays, and the billing people were all really nice. Although I don't speak Spanish, I did notice that one of the employees was speaking on the phone in Spanish to someone, so I'm sure that would be really nice for someone that would prefer to speak in Spanish. I was only sitting in the waiting room for about 2 minutes before they called me back! It was the first time I would be willing to say that I would go back to a dentist. It's probably one of the best dental experiences I've had. read more
