The office ladies and staff are wonderful , but I got a rootcanal and crown on November 10th, while being told it would take 2 weeks for the official crown to be back in, I get it was around thanksgiving but we're now going on week 6 with no call regarding crown coming in or when it will be in. I had a dental cleaning appointment, and dental hyegenist has spent about a minute scraping my teeth then moved onto polishing, which I thought was bit odd and it was shortest, far from thorough cleaning that I've ever had. Later I was seen by doc who recommended to proceed with a nightguard. I'm a full time physician myself, and I've explained that I work all weekdays without any day off that I cannot take time from work for this. I asked the hyegenist if I can have my husband pick it up for me because I won't be able to pick it up during weekdays until my next vacation which is not anytime soon, and she said it would be fine. Week later, my husband then has been calling office to ask if he can pick it up and getting denied. Given we already had discussion that I won't be able to pick it up myself, I find this totally inappropriate and given misleading information to buy this guard for over $500 that now I cannot retrieve. I feel scammed into getting this since I wasn't going to get it unless my husband was going to pick it up. read more

This is the fast food version of dentistry. Had an appointment (they gave me, I didn't choose it), and I was there 20 minutes early to make sure as a new patient I gave them all necessary cards, ids, paperwork. My appointment was for 1pm and at 1:20 I asked when I would be seen. Woman behind the desk said they know I'm here. Great, 1:30 I walked out. They are unorganized and rude. When I checked in the women behind the desk were complaining and whining about mistakes other people made. No one seems to know what is happening at this location. Definitely the sketchiest dental facility I have ever been in and regret wasting my time. read more

I had reservations about getting dental work done here. I had to switch from my old dentist due to insurance changes..i thought that night and day dental was for low income individuals and therdore may have lower standards of care , but i can say with confidence that this office is very professional and has great customer service.. and they know what they are doing. Doctor Lee performed my crown and annie and jamiah did my cleaning.. it was non painful and everything was explained in detail. Doctor Lee made me feel very comfortable and at ease..And all was very affordable.. i will definitely be back to complete my treatment plan and i will most definitely highly recommend the Durham office.. it did not disappoint! Improper crown placement that led to enormous pain. Scheduling staff that communicated disdain for pain I experienced. Falsely advertised business hours. I had a crown placed at this dental practice. This practice advertises hours on weekends, but their offices are closed and they do not answer the phones, respond to emails, or respond to voicemails on weekends. After horrible worsening pain I went to another dentist who took x-rays showing that cement residue was left in my gums between my teeth. The crown did not cover my whole tooth and left a portion of it painfully exposed. I contacted the Raleigh and Fayetteville offices of this practice and was told that nothing could be done until the dentist who originally saw me was back in the office on Monday. I am horrified by the terrible job and lack of empathy for pain caused by this practice. read more

I had recently moved to the area and was glad to see a dental office that was open on weekends, but that was about all they had going for them. I had made an appointment but still waited for over an hour before I was seen. I finally saw the dentist & he spent just a few minutes with me. It was just as well because he was condescending & just generally unpleasant. I got my prescription for an abscessed tooth & as I was checking out, noticed it was a penicillin-based antibiotic. When I was filling out their forms, I had let them know I'm allergic to penicillin. I had to wait again while they got that straightened out. Didn't inspire much confidence & I was glad I noticed that before I got to the pharmacy. So, I found a better dentist right down the road. (edit to add, this was in the summer of 2022. I just checked & the dentist I saw is no longer at the Durham location. Hopefully he changed careers.) read more

Terrible. Twice they canceled on me the day before saying they did not have a hygienist available for my appointment (made a month in advance). The second time I rescheduled I asked "is there a time of day you are most likely to have a hygienist available", and they told me "we don't really know when we will or wont have someone on a given day". My husband had urgent dental care during a holiday and this was the only place open. (N Durham office). There are no complaints about the care given. However, you would expect a dental office to be clean. That was not the case on our first, and definitely last visit there. The floor was filthy. In addition, there was a syringe, endodontic file and q-tip swap (biohazard materials) on the floor near the patient chair. The wall by the pump hand sanitizer was also nasty. We advised a staff person of the items on the floor and they were completely disinterested and did not pick them up. I was able to attach a photo of the syringe and file on the floor, but unable to attach file of the q-tip on the floor, nor the dirty wall. read more

DO NOT GO THERE. I have been a customer for 3 years. Today I was treated rudely and disrespectfully. They had no record of my appointment. They implied I am a liar. I was left waiting for an hour. SCAMMERS! DO NOT GO THERE! First, they make me sign a proposed treatment plan where it says my insurance covers 100% of fluoride treatment, but then charge it. I called as soon as I noticed the discrepancy when I got home and their excuse was that my plan only covers it up to 19 years of age. So why did they make me sign on a different information? Later that day, when the numbness from the anesthetics went away, I checked on the filling treatment I had gotten, and THEY FILLED THE WRONG TOOTH!!! I called again and got a lame answer saying that I could go back to fill the tooth in question if I wanted to, but that the dentist filled the tooth that had the greatest need. Mind you that I have NO cavities. Only a tiny depression on the face of one of my molars that probably happened when I had my braces removed. I wanted to have that tiny hole filled to prevent future cavities. The whole conversation between myself and the dentist was in regards to that tiny hole, and he probed it while we were talking, so how on earth did he decide out of the blue to fill a different one that had no need to be filled?! They offered no refund for either treatment or for the correct tooth to be filled. Just that I could have my other tooth filled in the future if I wanted to, which would cost me the same amount as the one filled now. I've been waiting for them to get back with me about a root canal after looking at my insurance. I chipped part of that tooth and rather than try to squeeze me in to at least take a look at it, they refused to work with me and my schedule to come in. My fear is the rest of the tooth could come out in the middle of the night and I could choke to death. The front end staff is incompetent! This is an emergency and they don't care. read more

The dentistry itself is ok but people at front desk are absolutely rude, unprofessional, and don't listen. I had an extraction done a few days ago and the pain was fine until I sneezed really hard and dislodged the blood clot. I called and someone named dasha answered. I gave my name and explained what happened and to which she replied "have you ever been here before?" Like I just gave you my name, told you I had an extraction their four days ago, and told you ibuprofen wasn't working for the pain. So I asked to speak with someone else and was put in an indefinite hold. I tried calling back and using a different extension and got the same person who put me on another indefinite hold. I respect the dental staff, but the business as a whole is a hot mess! First, when I tried to call their office at 7:00pm (NOTE: Their hours of operations state that they are open until 10:00pm) I got a message that said, "The person that you are trying to reach is currently on the phone." Then it went strait to voicemail. SO, I took it upon myself to go there in person, since I do not live far away. Low and behold, their lights were out, and no one was there! Besides me being in extreme pain, my situation is time sensitive due to chemotherapy treatments coming up. At the time of my actual scheduled appointment, the Dentist wanted to get approval from my oncologist before performing any dental procedures, which I was able to get the following day. His action of due diligence made me gain more trust in him, but the following day the office staff, I had to tell her at least four times that no I cannot make an appointment on the 28th, I start chemotherapy that day. Because she repeatedly asked me that same question! I gently told her, "please, you are not listening to me," before stating it the final time. She then informed me that there were no openings available until next month, aka next year! If they had any common sense they would have 1) spoken to the Dentist before concluding there is nothing that could be done on scheduling, 2) put me on a call-back list in the event that someone cancelled, or 3) considered asking a patient on the schedule if they would be able to reschedule due to another patient with an urgency, or 4) all of the above! They had four or five people working at the front desk, and there was no pause in her conversation with me, indicating that she got advice from anyone else! I will call back tomorrow and HOPE that someone else answers the phone and I get better results, or else I will be taking my fantastic dental insurance elsewhere! I went to Night & Day for tooth pain during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was concerned about whether I should, but the pain was terrible. The facility was immaculate, and the staff was disinfecting the waiting room after every person left. They had hand sanitizer on the wall. The assistant who took the X-rays and the dentist (sorry, I didn't get names) wore full face protection, gowns and gloves. It is a VERY modern facility. I have read that wait times can be long here, but with the city on stay-home orders, it was not busy at all. The problem was not an abscess as I'd feared, and the dentist filed down the offending crown to correct the bite. I think he could have done better smoothing the surface, but it is MUCH improved. And they did not try to up sell me services I don't need. With my regular dentist closed during the pandemic, I am so grateful that these nice folks are there. read more

The hours are AMAZING.... When the receptionist actually schedules you correctly!!! It took me 5 attempts to get in for a cleaning as they kept canceling because they scheduled me incorrectly! I finally got in for my cleaning and hygienist was setting me up for X-rays! The reason I was getting a cleaning is because dentist recommended I get a cleaning before my bridge was put in. The bridge had been sitting there for well over a month. I didn't need X-rays, I did all that to make the bridge!!! Very hard to stay loyal to a place when the dentist are the only ones that know what they are doing! read more

We talked through all my options, and things were explained to make sure I understood.. due to all the work I had to get done. my procedures were long, and through all Dr. Smith & Laarni would make sure I was comfortable or if I needed anything. Weird, to say I had Great experience at the Dentist. I left with a smile and for the first time in a long time an excitement that my teeth & my smile,were going to be amazing again! If I could give zero stars I would...I scheduled this appointment 6 months in advance for a CLEANING and there was no e-mail or text confirmation. When around the time came for the appointment, I knew the month but not the date so I called and called and called and there was no answer. About a week before the appointment, I got a text about the date and time. Thankfully, I have a job that allowed me to be off during that time on short notice. I am in the appointment and they just did an inspection and an x-ray. And when I say inspection, I'm meaning the dentist was in the room for 10 seconds, no bedside care at all. In that short time, he tells me I need a bridge or implants. I have a regular dentist elsewhere and b/c they were busy they were not able to do my cleaning. I have been going to my regular dentist for years and have said nothing about a bridge or implants. Even though I said no to both, the finance person held me in the room to get quotes on each one. Each time leaving the room for 20min or more. When I finally was discharged almost an hour and a half later, I was told there would be no charge. A week later, they called me to schedule the bridge when I repeatedly told them no. Three months after the appointment they are charging me $90 for an inspection, x ray, NO CLEANING. I am sure it not everyone provider here, but the one I experienced is only concerned with money and providing services that are not needed read more

Got there has problem connecting with my assurance they help me get everything squared away and I got both teeth pulled only cost me $83.
