I live in downtown Jersey City so it's more convenient to have the "Free" pickup and drop off. I must say that the van service is awesone. They call me when close to drop of on Saturday morning. The delivery guy is always the same and he is awesome and friendly. As for the cleaning. So far they've done a great job on my dresses, sweaters, blouses, skirts and combo leather items. The packaging is great and the clothes are clean and fresh. It's huge amount of work that obviously goes into this dry cleaning they do. Not many people know. Thus the price to clean items is reliable but you get more service and detail for it at Prime time cleaners. Usually they clean for me regular pieces but from time to time I have some important events in my life so I'm giving them some expensive and delicate stuff to clean. If you have a specialty gown or dress you need tailored or cleaned then this is the spot! They have helped me with numerous pieces including repair a vintage sequin dress, alter a beaded gown from India, and clean an expensive and elaborate party dress. I highly recommend them!

When I picked them up two days later, the crease only extended a few inches above the knee--and worse, it was misaligned with the original tailored crease that was part of the pants when they were made. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was told that this was done "aesthetically" and that it's their standard practice. We looked at the pants together, and while I could have insisted they redo the job, it became clear this is simply how they work. I didn't ask to speak to the owner, but I may do so in the future. The only reason I even considered coming back is because the location is convenient for me. That said, they acted like I was a new customer, even though I've been coming here since before the current ownership--back when the previous owner ran the place. I usually bring in a large number of clothes around this time of year to get ready for summer. As I write this review, I've had to re-iron both pairs of pants myself. For reference, I press the crease down from at least 4-5 inches below the hip. What they gave me was creased only 4-5 inches above the knee. That's unacceptable for anyone expecting professionally pressed clothes. If you just need basic laundering, this place might be fine. But if you're looking for your clothes to be properly pressed, look elsewhere.

I scheduled for a Thursday before a holiday weekend and didn't have a garment bag large enough since I had just moved in. I gave them a call to see how to handle this. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. I brought in a simple double layered dress that only needed to be hemmed and was quoted $140, more than the dress itself! I was told that because it had two layers, it was essentially like "hemming two dresses." At $70 a layer, I guess every layer counts. I then asked about simply taking in the waist of a pair of jeans. I was initially quoted $25, but after looking at them again, I was told there was suddenly "a lot more work" involved and that I had been quoted incorrectly. At that point, I took both items and left. I went to another alterations shop and was quoted under $100 for BOTH the dress and the jeans. It seems management may have changed since my last visit, which is unfortunate because I was previously very happy with their work. Hopefully the pricing doesn't continue in this direction, because $140 to hem a simple dress is pretty hard to justify.

Also, they send their laundry out to a service, so I suggested to them that they maybe find a more pro partner. But it's no biggie.
