As far as these places go, if they don't have giant machines in the back, it's a safe bet they are outsourcing their cleaning. They are all over Hoboken and all have varyingly boring names. So it's really the service the counts - and that is what keeps me coming back to PC. Sure, I don't live particularly close (by Hoboken standards) and I drive by 6 or 7 other dry cleaners on the way here, but she is well worth the drive & double park. She remembers my name, and gets unnaturally (but awesomely) excited when I come in. I'm not allowed to carry my dry cleaning to my car (I've tried) and she always yells at me for not bringing my girlfriend (her favorite person ever) with me if I come to pick everything up at one time. She takes note of any stains beforehand and marks them, and makes sure everything is clean when it comes back - if it isn't, you won't see it, because she sends it back. She has even offered to deliver our dry cleaning to us if we can't get out of work in time to pick it up. Service! Your dry cleaner may know your name, but I bet he or she doesn't know your name AND flip out when you walk in like you are the 1,000,000th customer. So... Go here. Get really good dry cleaning. I will periodically drop off upwards of thirty articles of clothing and they always come back looking wonderful at a reasonable cost. The owner, herself, is kind enough to drop the clean clothes at my house on her way home from work. This batch included a dress for work that was falling apart and I was planning to re-stitch the hem on (when I had the time). For as long as I have lived in Hoboken this is the only place I've brought my dry cleaning, it's great! Décor: It's a small shop, not much to see. But they have a curtained-off area for alterations (however, I had all my tailoring done at Italmoda). Anytime purely laundering my shirts would't get them sparkling white I'd have them dry cleaned and they'd be good as new. Staff: The main, and ONLY, woman working is the nicest person ever! She always knows you by name and is genuinely happy when she sees you (if you're not a jerk customer that is). It takes a time or two to develop an ear for her (very slightly) broken English but the learning curve isn't steep. Value: The price is right here, laundered (men's) shirts are cheap and dry cleaned items are not bad either. I used to bring my wash and fold her until she raised the prices 25% (from $1.00 to $1.25 per pound). I'm a huge fan and will trust nowhere else with my dry cleaning needs. read more

Amazing hemming job for a great price ($30) but looked at the dress and saw all these marks which were not there before. This wasn't an expensive dress that I cared about so I just trimmed off the hanging seams. but if you have a clothing item you really care about be careful about going here!! read more

Decided to take my bf's dress shirts here after reading their reviews. The shop is small but clean. The woman working at the front really is sweet and super helpful. I came in requesting the shirts dry cleaned. She suggested I have them wash and pressed instead for half the price, only $1.95 a piece. I was a little hesitant but she insisted there wouldn't be much difference so I agreed. The shirts would be ready in three days. There were 17 shirts so understandably, it would take time. I picked up the shirts this morning and I'm really impressed with the results! They're clean, crisp and perfectly pressed. Really glad I took her advice and saved myself the additional $20. read more

This is my go-to when I need laundry done while I'm in Jersey. I don't often have to deal with laundry while I'm traveling, since I fly home every weekend, but when I come up for 2-3 weeks at a time with my wife, we always bring our stuff here. The lady that works here is super friendly and always remembers her customers, even the infrequent ones like me, and the price is excellent at $1.25/pound. Sure I'd spend less on a coin-op, but then I'd be the one loading, unloading, sitting around and waiting, and folding my clothes. This is by far my favorite dry cleaning place. The lady who works here is super nice and remembers her customers. She is a crazy hard worker...she is always there. Very affordable. I can get those damn J Crew pants that I wear every day of the week but of course are dry clean only done for a few dollars a pop. My roommate and I have been using this cleaners for over a year now with absolutely no complaints. She's wonderful, sweet, genuine, helpful, and one of the hardest workers I've ever seen! We live around the corner, so she offered to drop off our dry cleaning (free of charge!) after hours. She even gave us lint rollers around the holidays! She's adorable! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE & NO INTEGRITY! Ruined my silk shirt and refused to acknowledge that they got the stain on it. Then refused to reimburse me for it. The owner is awful and basically called me a liar after I had been going there for years (to Sunny Cleaners on Willow before owner moved her business to Park). Have spent thousands of dollars there, and the owner refused to acknowledge that. She bit off her nose to spite her face.... it's just not the right thing to do, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! read more
