Most of the therapists were great to work with! However, their policies need a revamp! I was highly…read moredisappointed when my child fell off a treadmill during a therapeutic session. The PTA Megan was more worried about her clinical notes then checking on her patient and assessing potential injuries. She looked up maybe 3 times in the matter of minutes while my child was on the floor with me by her side. Luckily I was in session because apparently this is their protocol to allow the parent with no medical expertise to assess a patient. Seems outlandish to me! Called on my way to the ER to cancel further appointments and notify the clinic I was taking her for evaluation and would like a supervisor to call me. Well fast forward a month later and I am called by a supervisor to fire my daughter as a patient because I openly discussed the incident in the session immediately after the incident, I had one conversation with the front desk staff asking if someone was going to call me back because it had been 2 weeks, and I answered questions about the incident in an evaluation to assess for therapeutic services that were needed because of the injury sustained. I am now deemed "a disruptive parent who is to focused on the past incident to focus on the future of my child healing". Not only do I find this a highly unprofessional statement from the clinical officer Sarah, but also at the end of the phone call she refused to let me get a word in, kept talking over me, and was attacking me as a parent and person. They have now discontinued services for my daughter and threaten to do so for my step son as well. Regardless of the beautiful facility and all of the services offered through this clinic I would not recommend taking anyone here after the experience I have had with upper management and the lack of follow through after an incident within the clinic.

The 2 star review isn't for the therapists. The ones we met were great…read more My issue is more about the customer service and follow through of the staff. They were also all really nice. But nice isn't everything. Our first eval appointment went smoothly, and we were given a card for the next appointment. We showed up for our next appointment, only to discover that that the date written on the card was incorrect, and we drove 45 minutes for nothing. OK, no problem, mistakes happen. Next 2 appointments, everything went smoothly. Then, we showed for our next appointment only to discover that it was not at the location we had previously gone to (doors were locked, lights off). Buckle up a rowdy 4 year old, drive to the other location (late of course, he's 4, he has to run down the ramp over the grass, turn in circles 3 times, all the while wondering why we can't use the bathroom-it's locked at the 2nd location). We show up at the main location to find that 1) His therapist had been changed without telling us (he's shy, no therapy can happen until he's friends with the therapist because he won't talk, and really, you have to talk for speech therapy) 2) His appointment was canceled without telling us (they had called our home once and received no answer, nobody attempted my cell phone, which is my main contact number). Another 45 minute drive in one direction for no reason. 3 hours of driving done now for no reason. Their office has a $25 no show fee, the office manager told me they seldom enforce it, however I had to sign a form acknnowledging this fact. The lady at the desk said that I shouldn't worry, their therapists have to give 30 days notice to cancel an appointment (Um, we've had this appointment for 2 weeks or more) and if she had an opening, since there happened to be 3 speech therapists on site that day, she would squeeze us in, but since there weren't any openings, sorry!, there just wasn't anything she could do. On Monday, I called the office manager, who promised to get back to me either Monday afternoon or Tuesday. A week later, we are still waiting for the return call. I called them frustrated, to be told they were trying to work something out for our family, but at this point they have demonstrated their follow through is poor. We are finding a new therapist. The staff is nice, the therapists are nice and competent. All of these events happened in a one month time period. The business practice leaves something to be desired.

Horrible experience the worst birthing experience of my life I have two other kids and I've never…read moreever in my life been treated the way that she and her medical staff treated me I didn't realize I was having a baby with Down Syndrome I went in with thinking I was having Braxton Hicks but I was going into labor a month early they didn't have room for me so they rushed me into a C-section I don't even think I needed a C-section but they didn't have any rooms open for me so that was the only option as I was in surgery there were people coming in and out in and out because it was shift change I said this is unsanitary and they ignored me I said please stop having them open the door my body's open for everybody to see and they're just opening the door going in and out like it's nothing I mean that's not sanitary all those bacterias that are floating in the air I mean really I had my sister stay with me the whole time because I was so scared of them transferring HIV or aids or some type of blood disease or bacteria or a covid-19 it was so unsanitary and they looked at me like I was some idiot not one time do they say sorry they rushed me they then they looked at me I was in pain so bad and I said can you give me anything they said fentanyl I said it looked at my sister said no 30 minutes later I'm like where's the epidural they still weren't there so I get it they're busy whatever so I said okay whatever give me whatever you can they go well we can give you the fentanyl well they didn't tell me that I would be better than for 12 hours with the catheter and I wouldn't even be able to stand up and hold my baby I was stuck there for half a day I had to have my sister stay with me because I couldn't even care for my own baby but then they wrote notes in my chart saying I I was impaired and I was sleepy when they talked to me well of course I'm freaking sleepy I just gave birth to a baby what do you think I'm going to be happy and chipper and then they put that I had fentanyl and they're the ones that gave it to me in the hospital it says it right there in my record that they gave it to me it's the same amount that they gave me then they sent us SW told me that I wasnt allowed to leave the hospital. what are you running a prison? There's definitely something wrong with what's going on in these medical centers that needs to be investigated and when I filed an amendment to have there judgement notes removed they denied it. It's my chart and right to have what notes of what they think I am in my chart. That's unheard of and exactly why I have the papers to file suit for embarrassment, damages caused to my chart and the treatment I went through at the hospital. They also bottle feed my baby not asking me first if I wanted to breast feed. That experience was taken away from me by them . How horrible I mean HORRIBLE
