Dr Ameel is the best doctor I've ever had, hands down. After YEARS of telling doctors about pain and discomfort and them doing nothing, Dr Ameel BELIEVED me. This shouldn't be novel but it is. Horrible experience the worst birthing experience of my life I have two other kids and I've never ever in my life been treated the way that she and her medical staff treated me I didn't realize I was having a baby with Down Syndrome I went in with thinking I was having Braxton Hicks but I was going into labor a month early they didn't have room for me so they rushed me into a C-section I don't even think I needed a C-section but they didn't have any rooms open for me so that was the only option as I was in surgery there were people coming in and out in and out because it was shift change I said this is unsanitary and they ignored me I said please stop having them open the door my body's open for everybody to see and they're just opening the door going in and out like it's nothing I mean that's not sanitary all those bacterias that are floating in the air I mean really I had my sister stay with me the whole time because I was so scared of them transferring HIV or aids or some type of blood disease or bacteria or a covid-19 it was so unsanitary and they looked at me like I was some idiot not one time do they say sorry they rushed me they then they looked at me I was in pain so bad and I said can you give me anything they said fentanyl I said it looked at my sister said no 30 minutes later I'm like where's the epidural they still weren't there so I get it they're busy whatever so I said okay whatever give me whatever you can they go well we can give you the fentanyl well they didn't tell me that I would be better than for 12 hours with the catheter and I wouldn't even be able to stand up and hold my baby I was stuck there for half a day I had to have my sister stay with me because I couldn't even care for my own baby but then they wrote notes in my chart saying I I was impaired and I was sleepy when they talked to me well of course I'm freaking sleepy I just gave birth to a baby what do you think I'm going to be happy and chipper and then they put that I had fentanyl and they're the ones that gave it to me in the hospital it says it right there in my record that they gave it to me it's the same amount that they gave me then they sent us SW told me that I wasnt allowed to leave the hospital. what are you running a prison? There's definitely something wrong with what's going on in these medical centers that needs to be investigated and when I filed an amendment to have there judgement notes removed they denied it. It's my chart and right to have what notes of what they think I am in my chart. That's unheard of and exactly why I have the papers to file suit for embarrassment, damages caused to my chart and the treatment I went through at the hospital. They also bottle feed my baby not asking me first if I wanted to breast feed. That experience was taken away from me by them . How horrible I mean HORRIBLE read more

This is my first pregnancy and I have to say, Britta kind of ruined my first prenatal appointment. Very cold, judgemental, and clearly too busy to make the experience of my first child mean anything more to her than a drop in the bucket. I felt like a nuisance in her office. I see here that she has a couple of decent reviews and two crap ones... but picking and choosing which patients you "like" enough to treat with respect shouldn't be on the menu. The office staff are horrible as well. I walked up to the check out window and the woman asked me if I'd go around to the other window. So, I walked around to the front and this woman asked me to go back to the woman I'd JUST seen no one wanted to help me. I booked an appointment for the 21st of April and upon showing up, I was told that they scheduled me for the 28th... they changed my appointment and no one notified me? I put the 21st in my calendar immediately after confirming TWICE that this was correct. These monsters could care less about you. Awful people. I was so excited to publicly announce my pregnancy after the second ultrasound, but they ruined that too. I walked out of their office and booked an appointment with a new OB. Never going back to this place. Never never never. I also canceled my second appointment in office and they neglected to cancel the appointment... how incompetent can you be? I had to call again and cancel... I told the woman at the front desk that I was going to find another OB, and this must've been some petty attempt to get money out of me for failing to show up.
