When the testing was done, he took his time explaining to me what my options were, etc......showed concern and empathy when I was scared of the biopsy. I didn't have a problem with a male Dr. to begin with, but he was thoughtful enough to make sure I was comfortable with a male. Very professional. I am happy having him as my Gynecologist.....:)

She actually performed surgery on me and when she initially came in to my room she made it abundantly clear that she hadn't read my chart or file at all. She barely explained the surgery to me at all before disappearing from the room. I was prepped for surgery but sat waiting for over an hour for dr carter to show up to the OR. The surgery went well, but my post op appointment left me feeling like dirt. After losing a pregnancy the last thing anyone wants to do if have to walk through the baby picture shrine that is this obgyn office. I get it! you birth babies you want to show off how many that's great. Just have one exam room where the path to it isn't wallpapered in babies, please. When dr carter entered the clinic room she showed me pictures of the surgery and didn't even stop talking or slow down when I started to get emotional. I felt like I wasn't allowed to grieve or be sad during this appointment because of how dr carter talked about what I'd gone through. Dr carter, I know you're a good doctor. You fixed a potentially life threatening condition for me. But you made me feel like shit the whole time. It is incredibly disappointing to see a healthcare provider treat patients with such disregard for emotional health.
