I've had many questions which he patiently answered in language I can understand. I've had my hearing aids about one day, and I'm already adjusting to the difference hearing sounds I wasn't accustomed to. I have had no problem with scheduling and the clinic runs on time, is clean and organized. And I was able to pair my hearing aids to my devices after Dustin showed me how on my phone. My first…read moreappointment changed locations twice, one attempt to cancel me, one attempt to reschedule unsuccessfully to later on after several phone calls between both locations and an attempt to talk to the manager about the poor form of this schedulers/receptionists, magically gets restored without incident at a different location. Second appointment: a repeat of the same, tried to rescheduled my appointment, I was very inconvenienced and frustrated, again, tried to to talk to the office manager, after all of that I was able to keep the same day but at a different time. Honestly, who is running this tragic scheduling. Maybe it's an isolated incident but I have a feeling it isn't. Certainly not a professional outfit. Two thumb down!!!

After researching, I found All American Hearing located at 10001 SE Sunnyside Rd. in Clackamas. "Casey," a Hearing Instrument Specialist there, is wonderful. She really takes the time to listen and discuss all options with me. After much testing, I received my new hearing aids and was pretty happy. Unfortunately, after doing extreme gardening for many hours in the heat during the last days of summer 2025, one of my hearing aids began falling out. I was able to get in fairly soon to All American Hearing. Since Casey is very knowledgeable in the hearing aid industry as she has been in it for awhile now, she knew my insurance coverage probably covered a "molded" pair of hearing aids. After she checked to be sure and found they were covered, she made molds of both my eardrums and ordered me a pair. While that pair fit like a glove, I actually ended up going with the first pair I tried but with a slightly larger end piece that fit better in my ear canal. With all that I have put Casey and Sarah (front office) through in "finding the right fit," they both have continued to treat me with a ton of patience and respect as, like I stated above, I've had to make a couple of unexpected appointments (and got lost twice). Regarding Sarah in particular, she always returns my call when I've had to leave a voicemail. She is friendly, sharp, and goes out of her way to be as helpful as possible. I would recommend All American Hearing to any of my friends and relatives. They care about professionalism. I'm one happy customer.

After returning to pick them up, the Doctor was able to spend some time showing me how to best use them. After a few nights it became unbearable to wear the ear plugs. The pain they caused kept me awake and my ears felt like they had been in a fist fight. My calls and email to the clinic were never returned. While I appreciate that these were custom made and likely non returnable, some common curtesy would have been nice.

I've been called fairly regularly about getting in for an appointment to check up on my hearing aids. It's been a couple years so I set an appointment. Before I get into details I want to make it clear that the staff at this location were very nice, gracious and were welcoming. I will likely purchase hearing aids again from this location again. However, I also felt like I was at a used car dealer. They wiped my hearing aides clean, plugged them in and put new mesh covers in. I can't help but feel like all they really wanted was to sell me hearing aides. Strange feeling. Whoever you are in management, stop pressuring these people to sell hearing aids. Customer service always comes first.

The person who examined me determined that I would benefit from hearing aids, so I got a pair. After some weeks and several adjustments and tweaks, I concluded that I wasn't really being helped. I went back, and this time, the person told me I needed a different style, and added "I never would have put you into these." Made me wonder who was right - the first provider, or the second? So, I got the new style, and following several weeks of use and several tweaks, I concluded (again) that I wasn't getting anything out of them. Fortunately, I was still in the return window, so I wasn't out anything. They were very gracious about the return, and didn't give me a hard time about it. I've always had a sneaking suspicion that if someone's income depends on them finding that you've got a problem, they'll find that you've got a problem. HearingLife didn't dispel that suspicion. However, as long as you've got insurance that will cover the costs, you have nothing to lose by trying this place out.

Met with (Dr?) Todd Williams for my first visit. He spent nearly an hour pushing his "essential"…read morebrain-retraining program, making it sound included in my care. Only later did I learn it was a $1,000 add-on, not covered by insurance, and something he implied I should buy because my coverage was "so good." When I picked up my hearing aids and declined, his professionalism vanished. He rushed the setup, brushed off questions with "look it up online," and said he'd only see me once more, then not again for a year -- despite my insurance covering multiple follow-ups to ensure the best fit. I returned the hearing aids within days. He was in the office but didn't even come out to ask why. If you want honest care without hidden costs or conditional service, look elsewhere.
