This was really a great find for us. Home American cooking like mom used to make. Prices weren't astronomically high and food was fresh and tasty. Restaurant was clean and the service was very friendly and attentive. Here's your place if your out and about and looking for a home cooked meal. Looking forward to next time.

Good soul food and great service. Good environment, very country style for sure. We stopped for something different to eat and here was a good choice!

Excellent food and excellent atmosphere to go along with it. Good variety of menu options, quick and helpful service, and delicious food with solid portions for the price.

Holy Smokes!!! What a great little spot - cute and charming and the food was fresh, delicious and made from scratch. Had eggs and bacon along with a ham omelet with grits - perfectly prepared. But the kicker....we ordered two hand pies to go - one peach and one cherry. They were the BEST little pies we've ever had (even better than the ones at Exit 51 in Turner Falls, OK which says a lot because those are damn good. The crust was delicious and crispy in the right places and the filling wasn't skimped on at all.. we highly recommend this place!!! And Peter was a great server and entertainer!!

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. We were met with the friendliest staff and a wonderful man playing multiple instruments and singing gospel and Christmas songs. The food could have been cooked by my own mom in her kitchen at home. We loved our meal and the atmosphere. This will be a must stop anytime we're in the Van Buren area again.

Good food and fun! Great service. Plenty of parking. Lot of fun singing karaoke with the regular crowd.

Great prices, great food, generous portions. The only negative was we missed our turn and had to double back!

I am a bit shocked tonight to write this post... But this was the worst experience I have had at this Cracker Barrel or any Cracker Barrel in a long time maybe ever. The food was not on, and the service was not on. Sometimes you experience a little blip in one or the other area, but rarely both and not usually spectacularly poor in both ways. Blah and bland would be great terms to use. Just downright blah. And disappointing. To top it off, I purchased meals using my app or at least my rewards information. It appears that none of that information has been loaded onto my app, despite having purchased the meals to the tune of 800+ dollars 4+ days ago. When I inquired as a store, what could be done pretty much there were shoulder shrugs. I could've asked for a manager and maybe I should have just didn't have it in me to fiddle with it tonight. The follow up - aka, the next day... I picked up 47 take away meals and was pleased with the service and the food, etc. I am grateful they were there and open to help take care of us for dinner on Thanksgiving day. No to go silverware was provided - though I did ask.

You have to wait a really long time for a table and you have nothing else to do but shop in their store. I guess that's what the experience is all about (?) The best part was the super friendly and helpful staff in the store area. They were all great. The wait staff, not so much.

Came two per order. Each one had a fair sized mushroom, some roasted red peppers and lettuce. The veggies were hot and were green beans, carrots and squash. The sandwich was so large that half came home in a box. The fries were really nicely done and were piping hot and crunchy on the ends. You know how unusual that is with sweet potato fries... as soon as they start to cool off they get soggy. Prices were a little high, but the server Jenny was excellent. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town. It is a sports bar and there were plenty of locals in there for lunch also.

Parking was great, right out front on the road in a great revitalized downtown area. Once inside, the waitress seated me and took my drink order. The menu choices all looked great. I asked for guidance from my waitress and she was very helpful! The special was the chicken fried steak and two sides and it looked good, but Big! Not wanting to eat that much she suggested the prime rib grilled cheese sandwich. Wow I had a salad, sandwich and sweet potato fries. I ate every bite and it was delicious! I would eat it again for sure. Being a sports bar there were plenty of sports to watch. The one thing that did catch my eye was a US flag with 48 Stars. Very cool!
