Eggs sunny up!

The restaurant is roomy and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. This is a great place to have breakfast!

Worse food, cheap ingredients and incredible

Worst food ever. have tried a variety of items and unfortunately I just dont see why anybody eats here. For instance, BLT seems easy enough right? thinnest bacon ever, thinnest slice of tomato, and few shreds of lettuce on dry breas. tator tots were so overly deep friedthat nothing left inside. Prices are low, raise them and serve decent food please. i hate being so negative but have to eat here with a grouo and it never ceases to be an awful meal. Good service, love service people but food is horrific.

Since I returned to the Volkswagen dealership again today about 7:00 a.m., I didn't have time for much of anything. As they were still trying to figure out the problems, they put me in a loaner car and suggested this place for breakfast. I figured it must be good, as there were two other vehicles turning ahead of me to go into the place. They had a sign to let you know to seat yourself, thank you very much. A waiter brought a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. He seemed as though he was not quite ready, tentative. He returned soon with drinks for all those he asked, and took orders. I really wasn't sure what to order. Biscuits and Gravy almost always looks good but my allergy to cow's milk and the fact that I had a similar plate of cholesterol yesterday (at Hardee's) made me think about something else. I ended up with the Mexican omelet, but that came with some extra bits and I ordered Grits and a Biscuit and Gravy. Yeah, sense totally gone. A woman brought the food to the table fairly quickly. Not half of the tables were full, yet it was busy, and they were moving quickly to get the food to customers. She was rather perky--practically the opposite of the man who initially waited on me. The Omelet was a good balance between spice and taste. The Grits definitely needed butter, salt, and pepper. Shedd's Spread was okay. It didn't quite taste like I was back in Virginia, but it wasn't bad. The biscuit was good but the gravy was bland, unfortunately.

Just googled and decided to stop in Fort Smith to eat on way home…read more We drove up and almost decided to find another place. Just looked like a simple diner. Inside is super cute! Great atmosphere with lots to look at on walls. Waitress at first was alittle reserved but warmed up. Complimentary cinnamon rolls were delicious. I had the veg plate with broc rice casserole, squash, sweet potatoes creamed. All Good! My 4th choice was cherry cobbler but didn't like due to NO crust served, all cherries. Also we had hamburgers that were very good with great onion rings. Good place, would love to try meatloaf or Roast beef. Hope we remember next time we are on hwy 40 headed to Arkansas.

Calico County is an iconic restaurant in the heart of the river valley and exudes country charm. They are famous for many dishes but everyone loves the sweet hot homemade cinnamon rolls they bring out to the table. PWe started with an appetizer combo of cheese sticks and tenders. For dinner, she indulged in the homemade pot roast with a side of black-eye peas and broccoli & cheese casserole with jalapeño cornbread. I had the hamburger steak with grilled onions and steamed rice with all covered in brown gravy. As I said the food was great but unfortunately the service form our server was greatly lacking. It was very disappointing to continually have to request refills, napkins, etc when he could have easily found out had ever asked us about the food or our needs, what made it worse is he had customers on either side of us but acted like we didn't exist. I'm sure someday we will be back in for a meal someday, but I can tell you it will be a looooooooong time before that happens.

Of course the minute I realized the hotel didn't have a restaurant... my retirement road trip survival instincts kicked in: "Find closest pet-friendly patio immediately!" And WOW... what a find! Uncork'd Wine Bar absolutely delivered! This locally loved Fort Smith spot is known for its huge wine selection, cozy upscale vibe, incredible patio, craft cocktails, and surprisingly amazing food menu. Spot on. But honestly? The service may have stolen the show. Friendly, attentive, welcoming to the BBoyz... just one of those places that instantly makes you glad you stopped there And when they overheard me mention I forgot my jacket in the car... they immediately brought me the softest blanket to keep warm on the patio Now THAT is hospitality. Swarms of pink katydids made of ham, flutter across the lush turnip greens landscape. Surrounding the cornbread island, is a sea. In that sea, pink dolphins made of ham frolic, while schools of black-eyed peas swim in flowing unison. The devils of mayhem; diced onions and sliced jalapenos patiently wait and watch over the serene harmony, prepared to bring turmoil at the first opportunity. That was a satirical description of a meal called the "Soul Bowl." It can be found on Eunice's menu under Local Favorites. Bless her heart for coming up with this concoction! If you know what I mean. A filling bowl of food. My wife regretted it. Check the picture. Meanwhile back at the ranch....I played it safe, with an order of chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes, all covered with cream gravy. For my side I had a lightly seasoned cucumber salad. This was a very good meal. The name Eunice's Country Cookin' describes the diner well. A menu of American diner food staples, daily specials and those delicious home-made pies. Inside, tables and uncomfortable metal chairs are scattered across the large open dining area. Seat yourself. Someone will be with you quickly. Great friendly service. Well established and loved; the restaurant and most of its customers have been around for a long time.
