From start to finish, every single part of this restaurant is awesome. The staff is super friendly, the barbecue is some of the best I have ever had. I ordered pulled pork with macaroni and cheese and homemade potato salad. They brought out some of their pulled pork baked beans and they were absolutely amazing. I also ordered a half a rack of ribs which came out dry rubbed. They literally melted in my mouth. I spent $22 and it was well worth it. I also could not eat all of it so I have another meal for later tonight. I want to try the brisket next time as they sell out of that every single day first. Smack your mamma and ring the bell twice, this q is the best I've had anywhere, hands down. The smoker is in the restaurant and you will leave smelling of their wonderful smoked meats. Everything is homemade from all the sides, cornbread and desserts. You can't go wrong with any item off the menu, but you'd better get there early, because it sells out fast. You had also better bring your "didn't eat breakfast" appetite because the portions are humongous. You won't leave hungry. Pulled pork, half a chicken, ribs oh my! Best barbecue I have eaten! Definitely recommend. I just wish they were open later.

First off, I am from Texas and kind of a BBQ snob but that being said... 1). Their brisket is slightly above average by Texas standards, but in middle TN it is some of the best. 2). Their TX hot BBQ sauce is amazing- the right amount of heat and flavor. 3). Their hospitality is way above average (almost feel as though they are serving you in their home) 4). The #1 thing that keeps me coming back is their baked beans.-- Do not leave unless you've tried them. They are so different from what I've had anywhere else that I don't know how to describe them. Almost like a baked bean sausage stew. Absolutely phenomenal!! Now the downsides: 1). They have screwy hours and more than once I've not been paying attention to the time and showed up when they were closed. So be careful they are only open Tues- Fri 11-2 ( I think). You'll be disappointed if you want it on the weekends or for dinner. 2). Their smokers are inside , and I love the smell of mesquite smoke, but it is over powering and I wish that somehow they could pump some of it out so it wasn't so strong. It would also smell good outside. Your clothes will smell very strong of BBQ smoke the rest of the day after eating their. This can be seen as a badge of honor to some, but be careful if you have anything important later. I hope that this helps! In a small town like Springfield, word of mouth goes a long way.
