I had a craving for bbq and ended up here. The owner greeted us and asked was this our 1st time. To our surprise he gave us a rib and a few bites of pork to sample (our own portion). The rib had a great flavor on the outside and tender the pork was juicy and I could taste the vinegar on it. We ended up getting the loaded brisket fries, pork and brisket plate with beans and mac plus one catfish. The catfish was my favorite and I asked for it to be fried hard. The right amount of season and cooked perfectly. Everything was great will return. Thanks Reggie!!! read more

Reggie's BBQ - YUM!! - Barbeque Near Me - Clarksville, Tennessee

My wife and I ordered the 2 meat combo which came with 2 sides each. We got brisket, ribs, chicken, with mac&cheese, green beans, bbq beans, and potatoe salad. All the sides were amazing and the meats were juicy and well seasoned. When Reggie checked on how we were doing, he asked why we didn't get the pulled pork. We had miscommunication between my wife and I and neither one ordered it. Reggie quickly went back and gave us a nice helping of the pulled pork and it was great! We also tried one piece of catfish which was the best I've ever tasted. Great place! read more

I really wanted to like Reggie's BBQ because of all the glowing reviews, but my experiences were completely different. I honestly thought maybe I had just caught them on a bad day, so I gave them three separate chances. Unfortunately, every visit was the same. The meat was dry and had absolutely no smoky flavor--it honestly tasted like it had been cooked in an oven instead of being slow-smoked. Good barbecue should be tender, juicy, and have that unmistakable smoke flavor, but this just didn't deliver. I hate leaving negative reviews, but after three visits, I don't think I'll be back. Hopefully others have a better experience than I did. read more

Reggie's BBQ on Trenton Road did NOT disappoint! The half rack of ribs was fall-off-the-bone tender with incredible smoky flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, the baked beans were delicious, and that loaded pulled pork potato was absolutely loaded and packed with flavor. Huge portions, great food, and worth every bite. read more

Their ribs, pork bbq and brisket is awesome. But what you should REALLY try is their brisket baked potato. Steps to enjoying this delicious potato is as follows: 1) Don't order anything else for yourself - you won't need it! 2) Come hungry - this potato deserves your undivided attention. How DARE you put half of that spud away! This gargantuan potato is huge. Huge in size and flavor. Smothered with tasty smoked brisket, sour cream, butter, cheese, and chives - so flavorful! You get some sweet BBQ sauce to drizzle on it but that isn't really even needed as, again, this is one flavorful potato and a delicious meal in and of itself. If you're counting calories I gauged it at around 858 calories, but, lets be honest - you don't worry about that when stopping in at Reggies. You go there to feed the need. Tasty by itself or enough even to share with a friend - you KNOW you want this! Stop by and pick one up today, or if you hate potatoes, their ribs and pulled pork BBQ are delicious! Their desserts are heavenly - don't forget those! We have eaten at most BBQ joints here in C-ville and this is our favorite. Stop in today! read more

I stopped in yesterday for the first time. Located inside a small strip mall, one could easily pass it if they aren't looking for it, but I was. It was very casual inside, but everyone was working hard on orders. I told them I had never been there before, and a young man brought me a sample of a pork rib. The rib was cooked to perfection, a nice bark but falling apart in my mouth, juicy and flavorful. To me, that was a win to stand in front of the other BBQ places in town. They have several meat options, and I love brisket, so I got the brisket plate with Mac and cheese and green beans. They also give you a piece of cornbread. I took it to go, and when I got home, I had a flavor explosion of love in my mouth. My brisket was tender, and Mac and cheese were on point. However, the two things that stood out the most were the BBQ sauce, clearly homemade with love and a slight twist, or a secret ingredient that set it above the local competition. The cornbread was remarkable. It was moist and airy, almost like a cake, not dense and dry. I could live off that alone. This place is the best I have found in Clarksville. Thank you, Reggies BBQ read more

Amazingly good food. Friendly people. Fast service. Free samples!!! We love BBQ. We especially love a good brisket. Add on a tasty sauce, and we are very happy eaters. Pile some especially tasty brisket high on a sandwich, and we will be happy to sing your praises. The brisket at Reggie's has a great smoke ring. It is tender and moist. Yet it still has that bit of chew you look for in a good brisket. The sauces they off let you choose between something sweet or something spicy. It's all good, very very good. As you finish up, if you are polite and lucky they bring you a taste of pulled pork and one of their pork ribs. Both will entice you to return. The folks at Reggie's are charming. They help you make good choices so you spend your dollar wisely. They take their BBQ just seriously enough to make sure it's all good and you'll want to come back for more. read more

Reggie's does not disappoint!! Wow first I mentioned to "Ty" that this was my first visit. Ty runs off and gets me samples. He set me up on what I wanted after the samples. And this BBQ is amazing. Just the right amount of flavor it was well-seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The smoky flavor wasn't over powering just the right amount. I know I'm in trouble because they are so close to my house. I will definitely be back. Thanks Ty for a great first impression!!! read more

Reggie's BBQ - Ribs, potato salad, and Mac & cheese - Barbeque Near Me - Clarksville, Tennessee

I am not sure how long Reggie's has been open at this location, but I sure hope they stick around! I saw the sign many times driving past on Trenton going to I-24 or taking exit 1, but I hadn't stopped in. On a whim today, I decided to drive there to satisfy my BBQ craving. Specifically, I wanted brisket. Having lived in Texas for many years, I developed a taste (& need) for it every now and then. If you don't keep reading, all I have to say is that I wish I found this place sooner. I got the 3-meat sampler with brisket, chicken, and ribs. The sides that I chose were the green beans and the Mac & cheese. My plate comes with two. It was enough for two people, in my opinion. As a last minute addition, I ordered the "burnt ends". Oh. Em. Gee. That was the best impulse buy ever! Something about the crispy goodness. They're not really burnt, in my opinion. Burnt is inedible- at least, when I make anything that ends up burnt. Ha. The brisket itself was amazing and seemed to melt in my mouth. I liked the bbq sauce also. I tried the mild. I prefer sweet sauces and this was sweet with a little twang! I think it had vinegar in it, but it just made the flavor unique. And, I have had a lot of barbecue and tried more sauces in my lifetime. I am older than I look, too. I will definitely be back and bring family and friends to Reggie's. I forgot to ask if they had high chairs, but they have several tables with cute picnic style covers. The decor is simple inside. They have two TVs, so you won't miss a sports game or the news. What else can I say. . . just go! Try it for yourself. Prices are fair. Wait was minimal. And, support your local small businesses. I am so full that I needed a nap. I ate so fast, I forgot to take a breath. Whew. Oh, and, my toddler finished the Mac & cheese. I never got a bite. The green beans were perfect. Most places make them too salty. I didn't mind the big chunk of meat in my cup either. Everything was delicious. Next time, I'll see if I can get a double serving of the brisket instead of chicken. read more

I had a taste for BBQ and I'm glad my bf and I decided to go here. I had a rib plate with mac and cheese and baked beans as my sides. My bf had loaded brisket fries and wings. It was amazing! This has to be the best pulled pork in the area! My husband and I split a brisket baked potato, and it was more than enough! While we were eating, the owner was a table over and chatted with us. We enjoy Supporting Veteran owned businesses as much as possible. I've never eaten inside Reggie's, but we have ordered it several times thru Door Dash for the home and office and the food has been consistently good. Brisket is decent and I liked the Mac n cheese and potato salad. Pork isn't bad either. My husband says the sauce is sweeter than he prefers but i think it's because he's from Texas and as others have pointed out this is a Carolina style. The office staff enjoyed the beans as well. Also a little sweet. 2 things i think could use some improvement in would be the Cole slaw - rather bland - and to actually provide the item advertising. The 2 times we opted for the Texas Toast rather than the buns on the family meals we received what looked to be toasted Bunny bread. Texas Toast is thick...thick thick. Other than that you can expect fast and friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. 3.5/5 but as always when the service is great, I round up. read more

I was so looking forward to trying Reggies since it's close to the house, but I was disappointed with what I had. The brisket was fatty, the ribs tasted like they were cooked in dirty smoke and the BBQ sauce was way too sweet. I am a believer in 2nd chances so I will go back and try it again. Hopefully I will be able to ammend this review since I had such high hopes. read more

Went to this bbq joint on the way to Nashville and WOW! I had the catfish platter and the fish was so crispy! The sides were great, too! My bf had the burnt ends and they were out of this world. Just an all around great find. Will stop here again next trip. read more

Best BBQ we have had since moving here to Clarksville! We are never disappointed with the food nor friendly staff.

Everything was decently tasting. Had 2 meat sampler with ribs, brisket, collard greens and baked beans. Also comes with a slice of Texas toast. Ribs: not super meaty but some of the better ribs I've had Brisket: seemed kinda old and a little dry. Tasted good and tender Collard greens: someone in my party complained they were too spicy but I didn't mind and was happy to get something healthy Baked beans: I though were really tasty I would recommend people get ribs and brisket because I think that's what really is a true baseline for any bbq but other stuff on the menu like the tips might be better. Food my party orders but I didn't really try Coleslaw is not homemade and not that good (so I heard) Pulled pork: vinegar based and pretty tasty. Party member was saying that the vinegar broke down the pork proteins making it kinda mushy/overcooked but I thought it was fine and would have been okay with it myself Green bean: said picky person in the rest of the review enjoyed their green beans so I guess I'd recommend I'd imagine the Oak grove location( which is only open for lunch) would have fresher food due to higher turnover and worthy of 5 stars but idk, we went for dinner to Clarksville location Shame they didn't have more business but whatcha going to do. The meat didn't have a smoke ring if you care about that type of thing and there wasn't a smoky smell in the air till they started prepping our food. All in all, I've had worse bbq at bbq joints but everything I had I've cooked better myself. Worked in a pinch while traveling to visit family. read more

I'm a big boy and had not eaten anything since I jumped on a plane in LAX at 6 am so I bought the pork rib plate (4 pork ribs, potato salad & Mac n Cheese) and a side of burnt ends. I could not finish any of it. Very good portion size. The ribs were great as was the burnt ends with the spicy sauce. Service was quick and efficient.
