Fallin' off da bone!! What amazing BBQ. Whether you go for the chicken, ribs, or brisquet, you can't go wrong. Coleslaw, fries, green beans, and corn bread are a must.

A mom and pop bbq shop. Very casual dining! Walk in and order. They deliver to your table. I had brisket, green beans, coleslaw, and fried okra. Each platter comes with a side of cornbread. Self serve beverages of sodas and tea.

Whoever Reggie is I know he had on leather sandals when he cooked this meat. I got the burnt ends plate and the rib tips plate. Food was on point.

Everything about this visit was amazing, the food, the people, and the prices! Certainly will be coming back! I loved that the owner came out and sat with us and just chatted! Very friendly!

One of my top 2's bbq places in Clarksville. Good and tasty. Got the ribs, max&cheese, and potato salad. Fox is #1, but they were closed for a bit and I got the chance to try reggie's, thankfully. Will be back again!!

I am not sure how long Reggie's has been open at this location, but I sure hope they stick around! I saw the sign many times driving past on Trenton going to I-24 or taking exit 1, but I hadn't stopped in. On a whim today, I decided to drive there to satisfy my BBQ craving. Specifically, I wanted brisket. Having lived in Texas for many years, I developed a taste (& need) for it every now and then. If you don't keep reading, all I have to say is that I wish I found this place sooner. I got the 3-meat sampler with brisket, chicken, and ribs. The sides that I chose were the green beans and the Mac & cheese. My plate comes with two. It was enough for two people, in my opinion. As a last minute addition, I ordered the "burnt ends". Oh. Em. Gee. That was the best impulse buy ever! Something about the crispy goodness. They're not really burnt, in my opinion. Burnt is inedible- at least, when I make anything that ends up burnt. Ha. The brisket itself was amazing and seemed to melt in my mouth. I liked the bbq sauce also. I tried the mild. I prefer sweet sauces and this was sweet with a little twang! I think it had vinegar in it, but it just made the flavor unique. And, I have had a lot of barbecue and tried more sauces in my lifetime. I am older than I look, too. I will definitely be back and bring family and friends to Reggie's. I forgot to ask if they had high chairs, but they have several tables with cute picnic style covers. The decor is simple inside. They have two TVs, so you won't miss a sports game or the news. What else can I say. . . just go! Try it for yourself. Prices are fair. Wait was minimal. And, support your local small businesses. I am so full that I needed a nap. I ate so fast, I forgot to take a breath. Whew. Oh, and, my toddler finished the Mac & cheese. I never got a bite. The green beans were perfect. Most places make them too salty. I didn't mind the big chunk of meat in my cup either. Everything was delicious. Next time, I'll see if I can get a double serving of the brisket instead of chicken.

Great little chicken eatery in Clarksville! Nice folks work here - very polite and accommodating!!…read more The restaurant is neat and clean. Lots of tasty offerings on their menu and the smell makes your mouth water! Had the 1/4 chicken La Brasa with broccoli and red roasted pepper hummus. It comes with pita triangles, which I passed off. The la brasa marinade was on point and rivals any good Peruvian restaurant. Very flavorful with a good spice kick. The broccoli was al dente and flavorful with a hint of butter and garlic. Not to be outdone, the fresh roasted pepper hummus was amazing!! Dipping celery in this hummus would elevate your experience to 5-star! My companion chose the Jerk chicken marinade and was slightly disappointed that there wasn't enough of a spice kick, but the flavor was tasty on the palate. The mac n cheese he had wasn't stellar, but was solid. Cole slaw he found quite tasty! Buffalo wings he added on was satisfying for him, as was the potato salad. All in all, this place is well-worth visiting repeatedly!! Prices for all this delicious fresh cooked food are very reasonable - 1/4 chicken plate with 2 standard sides is $9.99! The quality is definitely there, and the team obviously cares about what they make! We will be back!! I want to try the tandoori next time!!

Summary: Fast food variations on chicken with sides of Southern comfort foods…read more An off night. That's what I think we had after reading the other reviews. Stopping here for supper, first there were the dark bathrooms that wouldn't light. Along with that electrical issue, an ear-splitting and head jarring smoke or other alarm went off every few minutes for about 15 minutes. Order taking was interrupted often when the counter employee shifted to incoming phone calls. That employee didn't know pulled chicken portion sizes in ounces and approximated with his hands. All of this created a dubious dining experience before we even finished ordering! This spot offers a variety of chicken recipes: roasted, BBQ, Caribbean, pulled, fried, and more. Sides includes Southern standards like mac and cheese, yellow rice, greens, coleslaw, and others. The pulled (shredded) chicken was overly seasoned with black pepper. Roasted chicken was a bit dry. The BBQ chicken laden with sweet sauce was the best of the chicken choices. Creamy coleslaw was 'meh' and lacked flavor. Rice, too, was just okay. Northern beans were nicely seasoned and well cooked. Pita triangles seemed an odd accompaniment since no sauce or dip was provided and they were too small to make sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant seemed understaffed, which could account for the messy tables and dirty floor.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time. I finally made a stopped in at BB.Q Chicken in…read moreClarksville, and overall it was a solid experience. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe -- clean, well‐lit, with a layout that works for both dine‐in and takeout. What I liked: 1. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful without being overly greasy. We got the Golden Original and Soy Garlic. The Golden Original has a kick to it but nice flavor. The Soy Garlic was a bit garlicky you can taste the powdered garlic. Nice balance of sweet, savory and salty. 2. The sides were fresh and well‐seasoned -- the pickled radish had a nice balance of tang and sweetness. 3. Staff were friendly and he was on his phone most of the time wasn't attentive at all. What could improve- the staff at the counter. There was a guy waiting on his food his food came out and was ready but the staff just stood there on his phone and didn't check. Good thing the guy was cool and didn't complain. Final thoughts If you're in the area and craving good fried chicken with a laid‐back feel, this is a solid pick. It may not be perfect, but it delivers. I'd go back -- and next time I'll try one of the spicier options.

My husband and I used to frequent the bb.q chicken location in El Paso so when we moved to TN…read morenaturally it was one place we were missing greatly. We were happy to see there was one not too far from where we live, it is still a bit of a drive though. Hour and a half to be exact but we figured we really liked their food so it would be worth the drive. First off I will say that I do think these are franchises so each location is ran different. I've also been to a couple locations in Cali and those were very different from one another as well. Some of them are set up like a restaurant where you are sat at a table and served by a waiter. But others, like this one, are more in between being a restaurant and a fast food location. Here, you order your food, they give you a number and bring your food to your table when it is ready. I'll go with the bad first: My husband and I were super excited to get their cheesling fries. It was literally our favorite menu item when we were in TX. Unfortunately here they drench the fries with some kind of sauce that really ruined it for us. I don't know why they do it that way but I think the cheesling fries taste 100 times better without a sauce. Also, we ordered their kimchi fried rice because it's an item other locations don't offer so I wanted to try it. It's very oily. So off-putting for me. We ate a little of it but ended up not wanting to take the rest home. I highly do NOT recommend it. And if you order the cheesling fries then I strongly recommend you ask them NOT to cover it in sauce. As for the good: their chicken is like the standard bbq.q chicken that my husband and I are used to. HUGE pieces and very crunchy and moist! My favorite flavor is the honey garlic and my husband likes the cheesling. Definitely the highlight of our meal! The service was great too! The gentleman working the register was friendly. My husband thought it was strange that he was dressed in sweatpants, a sweatshirt and a beanie with Bear ears but I figure maybe this location doesn't really have a dress code. Although there was a gentleman working right next to him that was dressed professionally in a polo and slacks. But despite their dress code, the man was great with taking our order and bringing it to our table. Not really sure we'd make the hour and a half drive back to this location. I gave them 4 stars but honestly I think it's more like a 3.5 because those cheesling fries with the sauce really ruined my meal. I was looking forward to it so much and was just bummed the way they prepare it. Maybe they should update their menu to say it included a sauce on it because other locations don't make it like that and it's SO much better without. But yea, I'll be nice and give 4 stars even though it was closer to a 3.5 for me. Chicken was delicious and customer service was good.

Walked in early on a Sunday afternoon and we quickly greeted at the counter to place our order…read more Ease of order was super, the individual taking our order was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. My gripe about the entry is that we weren't hit with the immediate aroma of a BBQ place...that's one of the best things about going out for BBQ, but oh well. We placed our order for one large Onion Ring starter, two brisket plate meals, a Not So Naked Tater, two fountain drinks, and a water...it came to about $75.00 so I was really looking forwrd to some good portions and tasty food. Those little cheesy cornbead appetizers came to the table first. I didn't eat any of them so I won't comment on them. They were quicly followed by the LARGE Onion Ring starter with 10 rings. That's not even a whole onion...they're making a killing on onion rings if they're back there slicing onions, battering them up and frying them in house. They tasted good, but the portion size was awful. Our food was not far behind...it arrived hot and looked delicious (which is a good thing, because it's the eyes that eat first). The Not So Naked Tater was jampacked with goodness and the person who ordered it said that it was very tasty and a nice sized tater. My brisket tasted really good. It was seasoned just right, but it had a hint of smoke flavor...not exactly what I was hoping it would be. It was clearly smoked, no doubt about that...but it didn't have as much smoke flavor as I was expecting. I was also a bit disappointed by the portion size. If my meal were a combo two-meat meal where brisket were one meat and maybe smoked sausage (which I found odd that they don't have on the menu), then the portion of brisket would have been suitable...but it was a single-meat meal with two sides. My sides of mac-n-cheese and corn on the cob were good...with the corn being the better of the two. Was also a bit disappointed that there was only ONE BBQ sauce offered at the table. I thought they offered a variety of sauces for sale at the counter, so why not showcase those same sauces at the table? I don't know...but it doesn't seem like good business to me. Overall, the service was fantastic, but frankly, I was disappointed considering the hype that surrounded this place when it came to Clarksville. Food was overpriced for the portions, likely won't go back.
