I don't care for the sides, I've had coleslaw, baked beans, sweet potato was good. The smashed potatoes, not very good, probably has margarine. They do not even have butter for their cornbread, only margarine, so I had to eat mine with nothing dry. For the price, one would think they could offer real butter. The employee didn't even know what margarine was at this location when I asked for butter. I would say improve the sides, the chicken is pretty good, add on real butter. read more

Alrighty, Personally not a fan of their Mac and cheese. Brisket was dry. Pulled pork was excellent for the 6 sauces they have at the table. I love trying a variety and that hit the spot. Cheese and jalapeno sausage was really tasty. Not spicy but good smooth flavor. Chicken sliders are pulled chicken. Also good for trying sauces. Buns were tasty. They do the star spangled banner at 12 and we sang along. Manager afterwards came over and gave us 2 blueberry cobblers which was very kind and tasted great. Great service, and it is a clean and comfortable place to dine in. The food is good with flavor and several options for you to choose from. Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars due to the small portions and to get sides cost extra. My 3 meat plate with 3 sides and a drink was 30.00. At any other BBQ place, it would run around 20.00. This is a new post as I returned for Veterans Day. I ordered my usual NC Pulled Pork with fries. Today is special as Vets get a free sandwich. They also had some cake as well. Ooooh the chocolate cake was sweet. I like what they do for Vets and I like the pictures that are almost everywhere. They even devote sections to first responders. Truth is this is a franchise and so you go knowing or at least expecting the orders to always be the same wherever you see Mission BBQ and decide to stop. It is for the above reason why I am giving them 5 stars. It may not be my most favorite BBQ sandwich but I know what I am getting and it is always on point. The place is always clean, the cashiers friendly, the condiments in perfect order, and quality of food to include portions always never skimped (if you know what I mean. The only sore spot is inadequate parking. The good news is they don't tow at Home Depot when you walk over to Mission BBQ. Maybe they do but they have never towed me. Well, that is enough for now. This was the first one I went to and the one I frequent -- my parents live in the area and we've recommended it to them, my siblings, and my grandparents, all who've visited and agree this is a top notch establishment. The food, service and atmosphere is always a slam dunk every single time. This company must have high standards for hiring, because every employee I've met -- this location is no exception -- has always gone above and beyond to provide quality service and food. Decent bbq. We both got the traditional pulled pork sandwich. The pork was initially a little dry, but after we added some sauce, it was pretty tasty. They had six sauces, ranging from Kansas City sauce, Memphis bbq sauce, smoky mountain sauce, Texas bbq, and more. They had multiple sides available, including fries, potato salad, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, and beans. The Mac n cheese was hot and gooey and cheesy. They have deserts as well--my husband had the peach cobbler, which was not too sweet and had a great crunch to the crust. They also have ribs, brisket, turkey, and chicken. It's not the most amazing bbq I've ever had, but it's a nice alternative to some of the strip restaurants in Clarksville. read more

When we saw a Mission BBQ along the way while travelling, I knew I had to stop. I have had several friends talk about how great these are. Even though it is a chain, I had reports from several different locations all indicating they were more than worth the trip. Located along Wilma Rudolph, traffic can be busy and parking can be crowded. We managed to hit a lull and were able to park right in front near the door. There are also handicapped spaces next to the door, and overall access is easy. You walk along the left wall to get to the ordering counter in the rear. There is a large menu board behind the counter and it takes a few minutes to find everything and get ready to order. The wait staff was patient as we stood to the side making our selections. We ordered the chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and the two-meat sampler (brisket and sausage) with bbq beans. The pulled chicken sandwich was excellent, with tender and moist meat and a fresh bun. The mac and cheese was flavorful and cheesy. The brisket was also excellent, with a definite smoke flavor and very moist and tender meat. The sausage was not as good, with a tough skin I had to work to cut through. The flavor was good through. I also liked the bbq beans. They have a thicker consistency with a strong bbq flavor as well as had some pork flavor. The corn bread is sweet with a lot of corn flavor. The wait staff were all friendly. One thing I noticed was the manager was also helping clean the dining area as well as checking with the patrons on how their meal was. We had a good experience here, and I can now confirm the reports that Mission BBQ is a good place for BBQ. read more

Came here for the visit time on a whim. Looked them up on yelp and thought it would be nice and they did not disappoint!! From the food to the atmosphere and customer service, I give them a 10/10. Lisa, I'm assuming a manger or owner, also came by and introduced herself and told us a little about the company and how they prep the food and provide for the community. Everything is made fresh and is kept warm by ovens or just came out. There are no microwaves in the establishment! So no unwanted radiation lol My husband and I really appreciate the hospitality.
