I eat a lot of wraps--honestly, that's probably why you're reading my reviews in the first place--and this wrap is absolutely top-tier. Great size, great portions, and it actually feels like a full meal. You're not going to be sitting there thinking, "I should've just gotten a burger." Get the wrap. Get the fries too. Both are excellent. Next, not the worst issue in the world, but these new menus need some work. They don't stay open on their own and just feel kind of cheap. Not a huge deal, but it's something that should probably be addressed. Finally, the nachos. If you know me, you know I love all kinds of food, but nachos are weirdly my favorite food. I've always loved Sidecar's nachos, but it honestly feels like they've gotten a little worse every time I've ordered them over the last four years. Originally, you could choose between wonton chips and tortilla chips. Now the menu says tortilla chips only, so I expected tortilla chips. Instead, they came out with wonton chips. Not the end of the world, but the bigger issue is that the cheese sticks way too much to the wonton chips. It feels like they're being baked too long. Every time you try to pull a nacho apart, everything breaks. This definitely needs to be fixed. Overall, though, the Crispy Caesar Wrap alone is worth coming back for, and Sidecar remains one of my favorite spots.

We initially received our drinks, but the person who took our drink order never came back. After waiting, one of us finally went to the hostess stand to ask if we actually had a server. There were SIX servers standing around, and the person who eventually became our waitress was on her cell phone. She finally came over, took our order, and our food eventually arrived. But what we witnessed while sitting there completely ruined the entire experience. We watched another waitress, who was serving the customers behind us, literally stick her bare hand into the ice container, take ice out and eat it, then wipe her hand on the back of her pants. She touched her face and played with her hair, then went BACK into the same ice container with her bare hand a second time. What made it even worse was watching her use that same ice to prepare a drink and SERVE IT TO A CUSTOMER. I cannot put into words how disgusting it was to watch. This goes far beyond slow or inattentive service. This raised serious concerns for us about sanitation and food handling. And yes, I have video of exactly what we witnessed. We came because of a recommendation. Unfortunately, after what we personally observed, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My spa treatment was amazing and was so excited to learn that the day of your treatment. You can come back and use their hot tub and sauna. All day, and it's included in your spa package. I ended up getting the awakened body exfoliation, and initially, I wanted a massage. But this was such a happy accident. Because you get a massage and a scrub, and it was amazing.I have to admit I fell asleep a couple times. Later that evening, we came to eat, and I am so glad I made a reservation, because I heard multiple people try to drop by on a Saturday night and get turned away because of how busy they were. And I have to say, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Luke was our waiter and he made sure that we were well taken care of. I also appreciate that they kept the bread coming, which was warm and so yummy. My favorites were the ficasha and the dinner rolls. We were hungry. So we jumped right in to the main course. I had the seabass, and shared the a la carte mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was tasty. Then, Luke took my celebration to the next level. By not treating me too 1 dessert but two desserts because of my party size. We got the coconut key lime pie and the cheesecake. They were both delicious, but my favorite was the key lime pie. When I come back to Choctaw, for a special occasion, I will be coming to the steakhouse again.

Going to an event at this venue reminded me of why I stopped going to public sporting events…read more This is not an easy place to get to, so plan on a hefty walk! The parking staff left our driver driving in circles, while he was trying to figure out where to drop us off and even the drop-off point was an empty parking lot away from the building. Luckily, we had an easy in, scan your bags and get a drink! Unfortunately, ordering off the concession stand menu is like a playing a game of jeopardy, place your order in the form of a question since there is no guarantee they are even offering it at the time. Although they claim to serve wine, they didn't yet it remains on the menu. So, on with the scavenger hunt from stand to stand for wine, wouldn't it just make sense to simply cross what you don't serve off of the menu and save us a few miles in that sweatbox? At this venue you learn to settle, bud light or a can of seltzer, take your pick. Either way you pay, over a dollar an ounce with a limit of 2 per passenger. Coldplay was great, loved the show. Consider saving a bottle of water and looking for a buggy ride for the after show exit, the walk seems even longer on the way out.. Cheers!

What was unfortunate was the confusion with the pre-paid parking. It sent us one direction and the grounds attendants weren't helpful in guiding us. After driving around for a bit, we found a place to park and they never scanned our parking pass or collected money. (Next time we'll just head there and see where we can park rather than pre-pay). It was easy to get to the Cotton Bowl itself as they had clear signage to direct you to one side of the stadium for entry. While it is a nostalgic stadium, you realize how we've grown accustomed to more modern amenities (e.g. seats with backs, restrooms that are easy to navigate in/out without steps). The concessions were right in the front when you entered and easy to navigate.
