The employees were helpful and friendly during the process to get into the event center and to find my seats. Share the Arrows was a beautiful, uplifting and inspriring experience. The praise and worship by Francesca Battistelli was beautiful. I am so grateful I was able to attend and my friend had a wonderful time as well. The attendees were some of the kindest people I have met. We enjoyed getting to meet women from all over America. I love that this event had numerous panels ranging from apologetics to motherhood. There were plenty of vendors throughout the venue. We enjoyed getting to talk to the various business owners and purchased a couple of items. I look forward to attending Share the Arrows next year.

It is within eyesight of the Allen Eagle Stadium. There are beautiful, walking trails and bicycling paths. Much of the length of some of the trails runs along the creek. Today the park also pays host to sporting events, though it's homage to yesteryear is not lost. This 125 acre park offers a variety of activities for people. There is a BMX track and skate park, baseball/softball diamonds, hiking & biking trails, grill and picnic table, a playground, and more. I was just here for a stroll. I had been at the dam site on the other side of Exchange Parkway, and there was a trail connecting the two areas that I walked. It was a nice paved trail that is protected by surveillance cameras. I was surprised to see the fantastic historic area upgraded to paved trails, new bridges, flood control, fencing and legends. The place can be hard to find as it is in a parking lot behind a light manufacturing complex. However, its worth the search and find. Lower your expectations because its not an in-your-face fabulous tourist attraction. As a matter of fact, few know it's even here. On the other side of the trees lies a major interstate highway heading north with a constant stream of heavy traffic. Ironic since the road is paralleling the very railroad tracks laid 150 years ago heading north to the rest of the country. This dam was built in 1874 to pool water in the stream as a source for passing locomotives! What a feat when you consider how many of these they had to build in this country to run the steam engines. Im glad this has been preserved for everyone to think about how recently in our history no one lived here and transportation equipment ran on water! Recommend checking it out. Go!

The instructors, staff, and faculty all are passionate about what they are doing and creating innovative ways to prepare their students. For example, they have partnered with industry partners who underwrite part of the setting up educational programs and costs in order to provide the school with great resources and in exchange the school creates programs that are immediately needed and employable in the job market. It is a win/win! This particular campus provides educational opportunities in Automotive Technology, Collision Technology, Welding, HVAC, Construction, Nursing, IT, and more. Being a technical college the per hour tuition is a fraction of other colleges and universities. To me that seems like a win for the students and a win for the community!

I would not recommend coming here for a correspondence exam or using this testing center. As a…read morestudent at an online university, I needed a testing center to take an exam. The supervisor I spoke with multiple times while trying to schedule my test was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. After finally getting the exam scheduled, I paid $30 for the appointment. When I arrived, I spent about 20 minutes going through an extremely uncomfortable check-in process. I was asked to lift my hair, show parts of my skin, pat myself down, empty my pockets, and spit out my gum before being allowed to take the exam. The man checking me in even had to "check with his supervisor" to see if I was allowed scratch paper and pencil for an ALGEBRA exam... I understand the importance of preventing cheating, but with cameras everywhere and a full staff present, the level of screening felt excessive and unnecessary. To make matters worse, the testing center does not clearly communicate all of their rules and procedures ahead of time. In the end, I wasn't even able to take my exam because they would not allow the lockdown browser required by my university. While I understand there may have been complications on my school's side, the interactions I had with the supervisor were unpleasant and unhelpful throughout the process. Overall, the experience was frustrating and a waste of time and money. I would strongly suggest students look for another testing center if possible.

I love this farm. The people here really make you feel like you're part of everything. They get to know you and look forward to seeing you on volunteer days. The community at the farm provides a safe space for you to focus on yourself and take part in something beautiful, feeding those who need our help. Their main focus is feeding those struggling and hungry in our community and are always looking for opportunities to help people. non-gmo, soy free farm eggs. a friend of mine told me about this farm and the lady who owns it,…read morecindy (and her husband but i didn't get to meet him). she used to let her chickens roam free but the coyotes started eating too many of chickens so she now keeps them in a large coop. she feeds them non-gmo, soy free feed. she sells them $5/doz or you can purchase a $45 punch card up front which will get you 10 doz eggs. she also sells duck eggs at $8/doz. the farm itself is really neat. along with her chickens she also raises alpacas. as i drove up, her and her husband were out on the farm fixing something and interacting with the animals. it was a really neat setup. cindy is really friendly and will answer all your questions you may have about her animals and how they are responsibly raised.
