There's a Pet Rescue house with the most adorable pets for kids to play with - and rescue. Next is a Pizza house where kids can creatively learn/play how to make your own pizzas. Don't forget the pepperoni's - they're the best part of the pizza! My favorite is the Market house, where children can learn the fun of shopping for groceries and running a register. But my granddaughters favorite is Playhouse - equipped with all the cuteness any girl would want when pretending she's playing house. Now, let's talk about having a private party at this sweet play museum. The whole place is set aside just for you. That's right, it's set up just for your party. Bring your decorations and food, and they do the rest. So convenient, and super friendly. It was a joy as a grandparent to sit back, watch my grandson having a blast playing at his party, and the staff taking care of everything for us.

We are always looking for engaging and entertaining activities to take the kids to. When we can add educational to that mix, we are especially thrilled. Play Street Museum definitely checks the boxes on "engaging", "entertaining", and yes, even "educational". Designed for kids aged 8 and under, this indoor children's museum offers a refreshing take on traditional play spaces. One of the highlights for us was the variety of activities available. Beyond the core pretend play town, there is a slime lab, a craft area, wooden blocks, and more. Having a birthday party here was wonderful. You essentially rent the whole place out when you host a party here. The fact that parties are private ensures a more intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone. Review #2044

This place is a legitimate piece of American pop culture history, and they do a great job bringing it to life. The guided tour takes you inside the actual ranch house, and it's more immersive than you'd think. The formal dining room with its crystal chandeliers, the bold red kitchen, the grand foyer staircase -- it's all right there, frozen in time like the Ewing family just stepped out for a moment. And yes, they have the room where JR was shot, complete with a chalk outline and crime scene markers. Campy? A little. Fun? Absolutely. Outside, the grounds are beautiful. White fences, open pastures, friendly animals wandering around with the iconic ranch house as the backdrop. There's also JR's silver Lincoln Continental on display in the museum, along with memorabilia and history from the show. Fair warning: this is a deeply generational experience. My older colleagues were absolutely in their element while some of the younger folks in our group needed a little context. But even without being a die-hard Dallas fan, there's enough to see and appreciate that everyone ended up having a good time. Great group outing, unique Dallas experience. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth a visit.

Growing up in Europe, we watched the show later than audiences in the U.S., but I never missed an episode and absolutely loved following the Ewings' story. So when I had the chance to travel through Texas, visiting Southfork was at the top of my list. The visit exceeded my expectations. The ranch is perfectly set up for visitors - from the guided tour of the house, which is preserved and decorated exactly like it appeared in the show, to all the little details, including the cars the Ewing family used. Our guide gave a fascinating talk about the history of filming, the ranch's rental process, and behind-the-scenes stories that really brought the show to life. We also got to walk around the ranch, see the small horses or ponies, and browse a tiny gift shop. It was amazing to experience in person something I'd watched on TV for so many years - and on the other side of the continent, no less! The whole experience was nostalgic, charming, and genuinely fun. If you love Dallas or just want to see an iconic TV ranch in real life, Southfork is absolutely worth the visit.

It was time to get a library card that was mine! Was time to stop borrowing friend's cards. Why pay for books or buy books when your taxes, as a homeowner, offer you free book rentals! AMAZING!! I love to be read too and you can read a variety of books for free! The best bang for your buck! Really happy I discovered reading books again. Not sure why I ever slowed down. Collin County College is awesome! Simply need to go in person to apply for the card. It's so simple! It gives you access to ALL libraries in Collin county and the State of Texas. Everyone should have a library card! I wish more people would be interested in being part of a library. It's so cool to have access to knowledge. Be extraordinary and join any library across the country! The only draw back is they don't have audiobooks. Suppose students don't have time to read anything but text books! If you return the book late you will be charged late fees. Only fair. There are rules you have to follow. Others are waiting for that book: Be kind and return on time. July 2024

They lied about the horse I bought from them - they said they got him from a cowboy down on his luck, but he actually was an auction horse. They told me he could go all day, and he went lame 6 weeks after I bought him, costing me THOUSANDS of dollars in specialist vet fees. Counting the price of the horse, I lost over$10,000 with my purchase. And then there was the boarding... I boarded my horse there for a couple months after I bought him, and his care was abysmal. There were so many flies that he got infections in both of his eyes from the flies laying eggs in them (according to my vet). They told me they'd administer his meds, but they didn't. My horse colicked from heat and dehydration (according to my vet) - there was NO clean water in the pasture. The pasture was a bunch of weeds with rusty old farm equipment where the horses could easily access. It flooded any time we had a heavy rain. The stalls were often dirty, and the barn often smelled of urine. There were so many rats in the barn; you could see them both day and night - even in my horse's hay bin. I could go on and on. The Pyrenes dog they had running lose all the time bit me and other people, and they never did anything about it. All of this for over $1000 a month in board fees. Do not just stay away - RUN AWAY from this barn.

They raised the rates 25% with only 25 days notice as opposed to the 30 required per their own contract. Nine months later, they raised them another 37% and gave only 25 days notice again. There were chickens and roosters that would walk around and the rooster would attack people. The care and stalls were steadily going down hill during that 9 month time that they raised rates as well. My horse wasn't getting his supplement. When I asked about it, I was assured the problem would get fixed. It did not. It was very much a "my way or the highway" type of place. If you didn't like what was happening, you were asked to leave. I know there were some people who truly appreciate their time there. I was not one of them. I can't recommend this place in good faith.
