Probably just found the store with the most expansive selection of kitchenware and the company was celebrating their 70th anniversary. I was not expecting such a variety. Everything from pressure cookers to simple cast iron cooking pans. The two clerks greeted me with a warm hello upon entering and inquired if I wanted a complimentary coffee with fresh illy classic blended beans. I smiled and self poured a hot cup of coffee into the paper cup with the Williams Sonoma name. Noticed next to the coffee machine two bottles of Williams Sonoma olive oil and the words Tester written at the top. Took a quick shot of the oil for alleged health benefits. Browsed the store with my great smelling coffee and found myself in the pots and pans aisle. The manager had a great attitude and provided an award winning introduction into the different styles and price points. read more

Another attempt to find the right stainless steel pots and pans set and this store was plentiful. The manager interestingly her last name was Williams but no ownership to Williams-Sonoma. She was so friendly and educated on the kitchen ware that I actually learned a lot from her in ten minutes. They had lovely copper pans that heat up much faster than steel but were not recommended. The prices vary and some pans were very expensive but last decades. This store was easy to find only a quick walk from the main entrance to the mall. read more

I love Williams Sonoma. Their displays are the best. You can get a real feel of all appliances before committing to a purchase. They also have occasional samples of their food and drinks which leaves you with a desire to go back and purchase. They always have some impulse purchase items available. I love their clearance sales as well so you're able to buy something you didn't know you needed. read more

Worst experience ever! I have purchased many items in this store through all my years living here. The manager is the rudest most unhelpful person I have ever dealt with in there. Laura could not locate a fry pan for me. She said the manager was going to help her. Finally seeing after at least 15 minutes that the manager was helping many others I asked her if she found it. She said to me she wasn't supposed to be looking for it. Her attitude when I told her that Laura said she was looking for it was awful. She rolled her eyes, wouldn't give me her name. When I first went in I was the only one in the store with both of them. I continued to ask as nicely as possible. Both her and Laura kept having a worse and worse attitude towards me. There was no reason to treat a customer who wants to buy something and is being as patient as possible to be beyond rude. read more

Laura and her manager did a fantastic job of fixing a situation. I was thrilled that they were able to give me a replacement to a wedding registry gift that was mailed to us, and arrived in the mail, broken, thanks to absolutely no bubble wrap used in the packaging. I browsed around the store and by the time I was done, it was ready. The store and fall displays are lovely, and I am relieved that this was fixed in a beautiful way. read more

Williams and Sonoma got its start way back in 1947 when Chuck Williams opened a hardware store in Sonoma, California. After a visit to France with some foodie friends he got the idea of bringing French kitchenware like omelet pans and soufflé molds to America. He converted his hardware store to a specialized French cookware store and began selling restaurant quality cookware like copper pans and chefs knives to home cooks. By the early 1990's Williams and Sonoma was launching larger stores with a larger variety of items. In 2006 Williams and Sonoma celebrated their 50th anniversary. Chuck Williams passed away in 2015 shortly after celebrating his 100th birthday but his legacy of bringing professional cookware to home chefs continues on. Today you can shop online or at one of the over 200 Williams and Sonoma stores located around the world. This Williams and Sonoma is located in the Town Center at Boca Raton. Posting here because Williams-Sonoma "moderated" my one-star review on their website saying, "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" (I've screenshot the email politely declining to post my review, as well as the original post I was attempting to post.) So now they're hand selecting what is and is not published on their honest reviews?! I didn't curse, I didn't call out any one specific person by name. I didn't even name the store in this review (until now). Perhaps the offending violation is to suggest for others to shop at their competition? Huh. Here's the original review on a Cuisinart Coffee Maker with a dual option for a thermal carafe/pot or a single cup/pod: Shop somewhere else We specifically drove an hour to Williams-Sonoma thinking it would be a nice buying experience and that there would be support should something go wrong with this coffee maker. The buying experience was fine. The coffee maker failed. The support is non-existent. I can use the pod side just fine (the water reservoir is TINY). But the pot/carafe side had a hiccup, belched coffee all over my counter, and now won't make a pot. I called the store and was told to reach out to Cuisinart first because he'd "never heard of anyone having an issue with it after having sold THOUSANDS of these." I submitted a support ticket to Cuisinart and was granted the ability to exchange it because it was so new. In order to do that I have to cut the cord off the machine, send them a photo, and then wait for the back ordered replacement to ship which has no due date. So. I complained about that to Cuisinart who said I could continue to use the machine until the replacement was ready, but that's 1) and indefinite timeline and 2) there's no way to track that so I predict the replacement will be ready the day+1 after my warranty window expires. I called the store back to see if there was a different resolution and SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. Either way I'm out $250. Just order it on Amazon who at least will take the return without a fuss. -Disappointed read more

What I love about Williams Sonoma is the usually items for the kitchen that no one else carries. This particular visit I was seeking out a mold for a huge ball ice cube for my cocktails. To elevate the experience at home that I would normally get at an upscale cocktail bar. They sold it in silicon and I got one. Also Whole I am here I get my usual staples of pink grapefruit counter cleaner for my kitchen marble counters it comes in a spray. This and there hot cocoa mix made with real chocolate shavings are must haves. The staff here are always very knowledgeable about what you are looking for. If you can't get it here you can always get it on Williams Sonoma online order enough and you get free shipping. read more

I used to love this company for many years when I lived in L.A. until they refused to take back their own product, a pan that warped in a months time. Fast forward 5 years and I tried to forgive and try once more, only to find that I made a mistake. I purchased, among other things, an oven thermometer, only to find, after I got home, that the sticker price was $3.00 less than the register receipt, as evidenced by the attached photo. I called and both the salesperson and the store manager were so uncaring, unprofessional and nonchalant about customer service. The manager said that the computer had the "new" price and, if I wish to come back with both the item and receipt, they'll credit my $3.00. Give me one of those zapping registry guns in the Bloomingdale's shoe department and I'd have a registry full of shoes in no time, but put me in the home section and I have absolutely no idea what to do with it. This place never misses a beat. They are on top of every significant holiday, because this place is all about food and family. Right in the front, there is a beautiful display to welcome Easter! We came in to browse and found so many cool gadgets for our kitchen. But, buyer beware, professional chefs do not require gadgets, just a few tools. For example, there were tools to peel, slice and crush garlic. But, all of which would need cleaning afterwards. Why not just use a plain old knife? There is a clearance section in the back left corner of the store where seasonal items usually end up. Currently, there are lots of placemats and table clothes on sale. Next week, I will be looking for the after Easter sale items. If you are looking for interesting Easter candy, they have bunny sour gummies and spring flavored jelly beans. read more

This, my friends, is the place to do your wedding registry. And that's precisely what my friend did during our visit. Let me paint the picture of this store. Fresh baked Meyer Lemon Bundt Cake is wafting through the air. Friendly and smiling faces are greeting you and offering you a cappuccino or some cucumber-rosemary infused water. And the most eye pleasing displays of everything cooking, baking, and kitchen galore are at every turn. Aside from all of the above, there's one very important person who made the experience perfect. Her name is Amy, and she immediately greeted us when we walked in, explained every detail of the registry process, made amazing suggestions, knew details of every product we asked about (she especially wowed us on her knowledge of chef's knives), and even suggested adding my friend's fiancée as a co-registrant so that he could peruse the registry at his leisure and make additions to it either online or in the store (this made him very happy). Amy checked in with us frequently, answered every question we had, looked up items in additional styles and colors several times, and even offered to make us a waffle in the store! There was also an upbeat and awesome gentleman named Jay. Jay gave us samples of the Meyer Lemon Bundt Cake, and in watching him interact with customers and his coworkers, it was easy to tell how passionate he is about Williams Sonoma. My friend left the store with a copy of the registry in a beautiful folder, and a free set of wine glasses. Additionally, Amy promised to be in touch with my friend and gave my friend her contact information for any questions she may have. This experience was extremely important because aside from my friend picking her dress and bridesmaids' dresses, this was the next hands on part of the wedding planning that my friend got to experience. Additionally, my friend has never been in a wedding, and has never been to a wedding, so to have our visit be so charming, was more meaningful and memorable than we can say (I say We, because I'm her maid of honor, and it's pretty darn important to me too). Fully stocked for the holidays, fragrant well lit... but the black Friday staff was stressed out, not familiar with how to use the phone system, not familiar with inventory and stayed behind the counter hiding from the customers. My only interaction with the staff, after walking around for 15 minutes looking for the electric knife sharpener, was when I went to check out... They didn't even ask if I had found everything, or if I needed anything else. Holiday stress on both sides of the counter. I expect better from here. read more

They fail to call me back and claim they are still processing shipments. They are not knowledgeable about their own products and confused items I was referencing. I used to be a frequent customer at the Miami(Lincoln road location) and am appalled by how poorly I got treated in this store. Rudest employees and worst customer service I've ever dealt with. No one wanted to help me to start. When I asked for help she corrected me on what the name of the item was while she scoffed at me. They made me wait in a line that made no sense far away from the register. I got cut by other customers, I told the employee that they cut me off and she said "oh that's not good" and then walked away clearly not giving a hoot. Was so mad when I left, when I got in the car and explained what happened to my boyfriend I started crying...because it was THAT bad. Won't be coming back to this location EVER again. Huge fan of the eclectic and - somewhat pricey - gear, gadgets and gourmand goodies. We've made substantial "investments" here over the years (pricy coffee/cappucino/espresso machines, pots/pans/specialty grilles, etc.) - and while there are certainly more affordable and competitive products out there...sometimes you just have to splurge! The store was clean and had signs with preacautions towards the virus which is great so for that it gets three stars, but the customer service not so good . I was thinking of buying one of the brevielle coffee makers and asked one of the sales associates to tell me how the machine works . Her answer was I don't know I don't drink coffee but you work here you should know about everything I'm in the store I could be a potential sale . She then went and proceeded to ask her colleague and the colleague didn't even look at me and said to her I don't know I don't drink coffee . Wait was more embarrassing was a gentleman who was a customer heard everything and was like I know how it works and went to tell me everything about the machine . Absolutely amazing in today's retail environment that a store not only overcharges for everything they sell, but when you get a gift that all stores are helpful in allowing you to return - this one, gives you grief. My suggestion to anyone thinking about buying something at Williams Sonoma, check retail prices from other retailers, there you'll find pricing a minimum of 10-30% less and IF you give someone a gift from them - Understand that they'll do everything not to exchange or take it back. read more

I have been to this location quite a few times, mainly just to pick up coffee and other small items. Went in today to purchase a juicer, and another bad experience. The staff and management is horrible here. There is always someone working the register that was quite possibly hired earlier that day. When they mess up while checking me out the manager has to come finish the job, then looks at me with an attitude and acts as if I did something wrong..... Have yet to meet a friendly employee, and since there will not be a next time, guess I never will!!! read more

As unique or nice as an item is here, it will be equally as expensive. Attention people who have a wedding registry @williamssonoma: the return system is completely antiquated. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks for a gift card to arrive in the mail. Instead of having a credit or purchasing another item for equal value (I did this @westelm), I had to wait for the card to come in the mail. It was estimated that it would take 2 weeks. It has been 3 weeks now, where I have had multiple aggravating conversations with in-store employees and online customer service (Brianna and Tabatha). Also, some of the items that were purchased on the registry arrived damaged. The in-store employees and customer service representatives that I have encountered are awful and do not know what they are doing. The sad tale of the Christmas Gift... FROM HELL. Or Williams-Sonoma. In this case, about the same thing. I get a Philips Air Fryer for Christmas. It had to be bought through their web store because they don't carry the large black ones in their retail stores. Just white. Why? Dunno. Anyway, they should be reasonably quiet, and mine sounded like the clanking fan blade on a 2008 Honda Civic. I called Philips. The operator, listening to the noise, diagnosed the problem: It's defective. Surprise. "Where did you buy it?" "Why, Williams-Sonoma" "OH, just take it into them and they'll exchange it for you. And thus began my descent into their sloppy bureaucratic underworld. I took the unit into the store. The store staff are generally pretty nice and pleasant. The gentleman took the return for the catalog store and told me that they would ship out a replacement 7-10 days. I could have bought one on the post-Christmas sale for 50% off, but I did the exchange because it was supposed to be quick. So I waited. And waited. It never came. We called the catalog people. They claimed they refunded my money. I went to the store. The nice assistant manager looked it up again, and it shows as a replace, not refund. He calls them. They show it as a replace, but they never shipped it. Why? They don't know. So they gave me a $25 credit for the trouble, and said they would send out another one. 8-15 days. So I waited. And waited. And this one never came either. We went to the store and met one of the assistant managers who is probably better suited to teach public school 8th grade than run a store. She was not happy and friendly. She was a little put out that she had to deal with a "catalog" issue. My wife got fed up with her attitude and now asked to refund on the unit. Except that I wanted the unit. So I went back to the store and spoke to the 8th grade teacher. Two minutes and I realize she's going to be no help. "Call the catalog store" she said, brushing me off, which, if this was an outlet store, I would be okay with, but this is WILLIAMS-SONOMA, where you pay premium prices for the friendly service and outreach. I called the catalog store. I got a very officious woman who sounded like her last job might have been the DMV. She wants to send me another unit now at another 8-15 days. I say NO WAY. I ask to be put on with a supervisor. She makes me wait 20 minutes. I wait. He got on and was nice, and apologetic, and offered to 2 day the shipment and give me a little more off for the trouble. Ok. Great. So I wait. And wait. And it shows up as a three-day shipment, but it shows up. When I open the box, it's weird. The unit has been tilted sideways to fit in the box, which isn't a good idea. I pull it out. And I did a double-take: IT'S MY OLD, BROKEN UNIT!!! I accidentally nicked the box with the tape gun in a particular way that made a small puncture in it. It was there on the box I opened it. I plugged it in: 747 clanking full throttle mess! I put it back in the box. I returned it to the Boca store. I WILL NEVER BUY from W-S catalog again. Ever. What incompetents. And the store is unable to do ZERO to do what they should do, which is act as the customer's advocate IF THEY AREN'T ALLOWED TO SELL CERTAIN STYLES OR COLORS. Infuriating! I got my money back and ordered it off of Amazon.com for more $$, but at least I'll get it, it will be in one piece, and I'll be able to USE IT. read more

I understand mistakes happen but rather than fix it the manager said "please don't contact corporate because it will screw-up our store rating." I love Williams Sonoma in general, don't get me wrong. But I had to take off a star for this location's customer service because there is never anyone available to help you. And the other star for the "techniques class" because it was rather silly. No techniques were taught. Nothing was really "cooked" because it was pretty much all pre-made from the kits they sell in the store and we didn't even witness that being prepared because it was done prior to the class time. So calling this any type of cooking class is an outright lie. If you want a bite or two of so-so free food and a 10% discount, then yes, sure, go to these. But don't expect to learn anything. Otherwise, this store stocks some pretty awesome kitchen equipment that I can take home and do some real cooking with (from scratch, not with pre-fab kits). Terrible place to shop!!! I went in to try to buy a chef knife because I am a personal chef and needed a new one. I went to the store and the knife that I wanted was out of stock. The lady had to order it online and ship it to my house. This fuckin lady placed the order for pick up in Sacramento, CA.... I live in Delray Beach,Fl and never have been to CA. This lady calls customer service to try to fix it and they said they haven't received the order yet so I had to call the following day to try and fix "their mistake". Basically I called the customer service line the following day and they said they will fix the situation. The day after that I received an email saying that my order has been canceled and then another email was sent saying that my order was ready for pickup in Sacramento, CA again smh. So I went back to the store to ask them what the fuck are they doing? And they couldn't help me. I asked them to cancel the order if they can't input in the computer to ship it to my house correctly. The response was that they can't cancel the order and that I would have to call customer service. Again, I tried calling customer service and was on hold for 45 mins until some dumb ass picked up and asked me what I needed help with and then she put me on hold for another 20mins and finally somebody picked up and tried to tell me that my order is shipping... If it's "shipping", then where the fuck is my tracking number???? Can you people do anything over there??? I'm taking my business somewhere else!!!
