Different people in the company contradicted one another, causing enormous delay, and they try to blame the customer for not knowing every detail of every aspect of the bathroom remodeling. They will tell you that you should take time off of work DURING the duration of the whole thing. They advertise aggressively, touting their "40 years in business ", but if you question their work quality or work ethics, they will gleefully point out the illegal fine print on the contract that their charming saleswoman gets you to sign, that you "agree not to publish negative public reviews". Why is it illegal you ask? Check online. Florida laws prohibit this kind of customer suppression. Now you know why there is a huge difference between their raving GOOGLE reviews, versus the very grim Yelp reviews.

I moved into a new home in…read moreDelray Beach two years ago and spent a few months in and out of Designers Mark furnishing our home. Dimitri and his entire staff were amazing. We purchased a bunch of furniture, bar stools, and had Designers Mark install blinds in every room of our brand new home. Fast forward to one month ago-almost two years later- when we woke up in the middle of the night to a large crash and realized that one of the motorized blinds covering three large windows had ripped off its install and crashed to the floor. The next day I sent pictures and videos to Dimitri assuming nothing would happen as it was two years after install. Dimitri took over and immediately sent his install team out who determined that the install was faulty. Shortly thereafter he had a drywall team out fixing all the damage to our walls. Then he sent a painting team out to paint and match the existing dining room color. All of this was done via numerous phone calls/texts and emails by himself. A week later he had the install team back to install a brand-new electric blind covering the three windows. What I thought would be a terrible experience costing me thousands of dollars, turned into one of the best customer service experiences that I've ever had and at zero cost to me! Everyone makes mistakes but it's what happens after a mistake that everyone remembers. And Dimitri was fantastic! I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!

Birch Lane, a Wayfair company, took the place of Z Gallerie which closed over a year ago. I used to love Z Gallerie, they had some really nice quality furniture there as well as a wide array of eclectic decor and art. Birch Lane is much more conventional and boring and because of size constraints, they don't have much inventory on the floor. Unfortunately, we left empty-handed, but not for a lack of trying. The staff did offer us the option of looking for other options online and having them ship it to us. However if I wanted to order something from Birch Lane or Wayfair, I could just do that in the comfort of my home. I don't need a salesperson to act as a middleman and browse the website with me. I don't know, maybe I'm just not the target demographic for this store. Overall 3 stars from me. It's definitely adequate, it just lacks flair and inventory.

The current in-store Spring Cyber Week special is 20% off all outdoor furniture although today I was inquiring about sofas and delivery policies. This store specializes in several major brands including Mayfair, All Modern, Joss & Main and Perigold. During browsing the staff was informative and not aggressive. They indicated that all purchases include FREE delivery although the current waiting period for sofas are several weeks or longer to arrive. No sale today but will keep this location in my back pocket.
