    This is a mixed review: Salespeople = 4 stars…read moreService and Delivery processes = zero stars We stopped by one evening and saw a patio set that we liked. The salesperson was pleasant and gave us his card so we could contact him if we wanted to buy the set. I called him twice over the next few days and didn't receive a call back until after I called the store and placed the order with another sales rep. After speaking with her on the phone about the furniture, she suggested that I place the order online on the RTG website. I did this but had some questions about the order, so I had to call her back to address my questions. The ordering process would have been more efficient if I could have placed the order over the phone directly with the sales rep! RTG charges a delivery fee for the "privilege" of having the furniture delivered at their convenience rather than at the customer's convenience. I requested an afternoon delivery but was told that deliveries are scheduled throughout the day based on zip code. I called customer service and explained that no one would be home in the morning to accept delivery. Neither the rep nor his supervisor could do anything to accommodate me. They suggested having a friend or a neighbor stop by my house to let the delivery people in. So I'm supposed to inconvenience someone else? This is simply unacceptable service! Although the delivery reps were polite and professional, the entire process was very frustrating. To make matters worse, I will need to go through this time-consuming and irritating process again as part of my order is on backorder and will be delivered on different date. RTG has even attempted deliveries to gated communities at 7 am and were turned away at the guardhouse because the delivery was occurring before the community's permitted timeframe. Clearly, they don't seem to care about the customer. Since I had placed the order online, the salesperson told me I could stop by the store at any time to pick up a free package of cleaning solution for the pillows. That's a nice offer, but why couldn't RTG just include the cleaning product with the furniture when it was delivered? Again, nice people, poor process!
