Aldi's is the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter hanging in an Aldi's keychain made for that purpose attached to my purse. I shop at Aldi's at least once a week. Unfortunately the locations by me have become run down. I stopped going to one because every cart was broken. I have started trying different locations when I am out and about. I recently discovered this brand new Aldi's off of Federal Highway in Boca Raton. It puts my local Aldi's to shame. This store is so bright and beautiful. Even the floor felt better to walk on. There were so many clean and easy rolling carts to use. Everything I needed was in stock and there was no line. This store is like a dream. If only it was closer to me but honestly it may be worth going out of your way for, Aldi's motto is "here today gone tomorrow". The inventory is always changing which makes it fun to find new products but it also means your favorites may be gone by the time you come back. That is why I stock up on the seasonal products I love. All of the Christmas holiday items are out now like the chocolates and stollen. Aldi's is a big part of making my grocery budget stretch farther. If I lived closer I would be at this Aldi's all the time.

I like how they send you emails to let you know what's coming off the farm on the weekend... worked on me. Also, I wanted to pick up some Ice Cream from Sutton Milk Farm, a dairy farm in Okeechobee that makes amazing, fresh, ice cream. Both the Vanilla and Mint Chocolate Chip were fantastic. BTW, they also carry Duci Gelato if you can't make it to their place on Congress. That's the beauty of Bedner's Farm Markets... they search out the top quality items for sale at the store... and of course, the great produce, from their farms and other local farms. Just look at the beautiful veggies! Now, do yourself a favor... go pick up some corn! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They have 3 locations (Boynton Beach, Del Ray and West Palm) and I had been meaning to check them out for some time. I'm glad I did. The store itself isn't all that big but they do pack a lot of unique produce items, some hard to find. The produce is super fresh and some of the pricing is cheaper than big box supermarkets, while others are more pricey. In the end it evens out but you get local farm fresh produce and that's a win win. By the way, the lemonade blueberries were a pleasant surprise. I thought they would be on the tart side but they were refreshingly sweet. Happy I stopped in and will definitely come back!

The parking lot is kinda small, and some spaces are awkward to get out of if you have a bigger car, I found out. The market was easy to spot. It is very clean inside and the prices are great. It is a fruit and vegetable market with a few other things like eggs, some pasta, cheese and other things but it is mostly fruits and vegetables here. I did see one long aisle with bargains. And for a beginner like myself, it did not disappoint. The idea of driving out to a farm to pick up fruits and vegetables was a little iffy for me. Well the price per share includes delivery straight to your door! Worried about timing of delivery? They actually text you to alert you about when they drop the package of. Would you like organic eggs, raw chocolate, meat, and other products added to your order? Just text them to add it. Worried about CSAs that make you pay for 6 months of service up front? This is non contractual! Just pay for the weeks you want and forget the rest. Last but not least, worried about paying for an amalgam of fruits and veggies you've never heard of? I was too. Until I saw that they post a list of what will be added in this weeks shipment! Genius. It takes the guessing work and long driving out of the Csa equation! Just pay, and enjoy :) the customer service was great and I received an ample amount of organic florida produce to cook and juice. I will definitely be ordering again. (Only thing I'm upset about is that I missed the yelp deal. I'll try to use it for my next order)

I figured what we don't eat right away, I can cut off the cob and use in muffins or freeze. The watermelon was $5 as well and it too is quite large. Maybe the size of a basketball? I'm guessing. We won't know until we cut into it whether it's sweet or not. But it too is a very good price. The produce box was packed full! A separate wrapped package of fresh green beans; 2 cucumbers, 2 zucchini's, red and green and yellow peppers, poblano and Cubano peppers; a couple tomatoes... And we are so glad we "supported local" farmers and got some great fresh produce at the same time.
