Amazing! Love having access to farm fresh foods near us ... and the Boca Farmers Market is the only way we spend our Sundays.

I picked up fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee, and tapioca chips all from different vendors. And an amazing coffee cake from Empire Baked Goods. We also grabbed bagels from Bagelworks (so good and fresh) and tried the Chorizo Smash Burger from Poblano South, which was a standout--flavorful and cooked perfectly. For the most part, everything felt very affordable, especially for the quality. One thing I really appreciated was that the market is set up in a parking lot rather than a grassy area, so no mud, no mess, and easy walking with strollers or carts. They even had free trampoline exercise sessions, which was such a fun and unique touch. The vendors/ people were very sweet and not pushy at all. Some booths had a bit of a bee frenzy they loved being around the sweets. Fans could possibly be beneficial for that. Great food, great setup, and a fun community vibe--I'll definitely be back!

He came back with everything on my list and more. So this week when in the area, I wanted to stop by and check it out myself. They have a lot of produce. All very nicely arranged and marked clearly with price signs. Some items are quite reasonable -- especially those items in sale. Most are at a good price or comparable to your local market. They also have a section of ready to eat cooked food and other deli items in a cooler. I did get another container of chopped chicken liver as I'd really like the one we tried before. I liked the fact that some of the cooked foods were in small portions for 1 or 2 people. What I didn't expect was the shelves of international food items -- from British to Mexican. These shelves line one wall. The place isn't large, but it certainly will have most of the fruits and veggies you're looking for. My husband thought their jumbo eggs were a real bargain, too. I'm sure we will be back when next in the area.

This place is small but is well stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, precooked traditional meals, side dish items and foods from around the world, not to mention fresh Jumbo Eggs for $1.39. The inside is bright, clean and inviting, with friendly staff members to help you find items you may have passed over. They offer specials to enjoy and save some $$$, as well as bakery items from locals. As you get near the rear of the store you can smell some of the delicious aromas from items they are cooking up fresh. Prices are modest and better than the supermarket chains. If you are looking for some ready meals or are planning on cooking a meal yourself, here is where you will want to come to complete your shopping list.

Closer to me than the drive through market in Lantana and the produce is exceptional. Bought one of the $10 boxes and it was packed with fresh produce. Green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, peppers cucumbers tomatoes, potatoes, giant carrots and a big onion. The corn is packaged 6 ears for $5. The ears are huge. Also available was squash for $2 and a big butternut squash for $3. $20 fruit boxes are offered too. Packed with cantaloupe, bananas, oranges, avocados, blueberries and more. The drive through is set up for easy pickup. Just follow the path and you will see the daily choices available, Employees are masked and gloved. They come to the window, you place the order and it's put directly inside your trunk. Cash only. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I prefer to support local farmers over the grocery stores and this was an excellent choice.

We got one of their boxes for $10 and added some corn and a watermelon. The corn were packaged 10 ears for $5. The ears are huge. You can also get a half of a package. I figured what we don't eat right away, I can cut off the cob and use in muffins or freeze. The watermelon was $5 as well and it too is quite large. Maybe the size of a basketball? I'm guessing. We won't know until we cut into it whether it's sweet or not. But it too is a very good price. The produce box was packed full! A separate wrapped package of fresh green beans; 2 cucumbers, 2 zucchini's, red and green and yellow peppers, poblano and Cubano peppers; a couple tomatoes... (I'll have Roy F post the pictures as my app is still wonky). Easy pickup -- everyone is masked and gloved. Cash only. They take your money and your order then put everything in your trunk or back seat as requested. Everyone was so nice. And we are so glad we "supported local" farmers and got some great fresh produce at the same time.

At other times, there are horse shows and competitions in the same general area. Parking is free for everyone! They provide handicapped parking for those with valid placards. Just show it to the parking guides. We rarely see horses here during the market, but it sometimes seems that EVERYONE brings their dog. Any many of the vendors cater to the dogs as well, selling dog food, treats, doggie duds, toys and more. Parkland's dog parks, (one for little dogs and one for large dogs), called Barkland, are right down the road from the Farmer's Market. It is not a large market, but it has a nice selection of items. Many of the vendors give out tasting samples. There are food trucks as well, and a covered seating area, so feel free to buy food at the market and eat breakfast, brunch or lunch right there. The people who sell honey let you taste any and all. Be sure you taste brfore you buy. The honeys have a very broad range of flavors and colors, with avocado honey being almost avocado green...Really! The french bakery has yummy breads & pastries. The croissants are fresh, yet, when we sat down to eat them at the market, we decided we like them better lightly toasted with butter and/or honey on them. I'm bringing the rest home. Samples are always free at the apple cider donut booth, kettle korn, paela, dips, salsas, banana breads, (one if our favorite vendors). Believe it or not, the item least represented are fruits and vegetables. You'd think that at a Farmer's Market, there would be more. Many of the fruits and veggies even come complete with stickers, printed with codes for the supermarket. Not everything is homegrown.... They, however, usually have homegrown tomatoes, eggplants, zuchini, carrots, string beans, cheeses and more. . Other vendors sell veggie sprouts, many varieties of mushrooms (sometimes), various homemade clothes, granola, hot sauces, dips, The fish guy sells fresh fish salads, whatever he has caught in the last couple of days. The pickle guy is very popular, selling al different kinds of pickles. From time to time time there are special events: An antique car show Musical performers For Christmas there were 3-4 aisles of homemade gift items. and more... We've come to the market just to pick up their terrific banana bread. It comes in several varieties, but, having tried a few, opt for the original now every time. Hint: It freezes well too.

They also usually have a table in the front giving away free reusable bags in case you didn't bring your own. I try to come here every week it's open, and I always stock up on my favorites to hold me over till the next market. I will say I have noticed some vendors come and go, but the main ones stay pretty consistent. I went today and got a bunch of French bread/pastries, empanadas, cheese curds, Italian food, and an acai bowl.

This market was created to offer small businesses a chance to sell local products. There were two aisles of tents selling a variety of items including juice shots, sugar cane, fish dip, ceviche, conch salad, guacamole, cheese, coffee, bread, pastries, bagels, microgreens, produce, orchids, healthy desserts, jerky, Balkan Breakfast, World Famous Cakes, raw honey, jewelry, acai, and more. I was really intrigued by the microgreens as I was recently thinking of ways I could incorporate more into my diet. I was also especially happy to see a favorite vendor, Doctor Pickles. With the variety of vendors, this market is well worth checking out if you are in the area. It is also surrounded by great dining and shopping options in the Cove. If there is a drawback, it is that parking in the Cove can be a difficult experience. The tight lanes are often blocked by people waiting for a car to pull out. Also while the parking is free, you still have to register your vehicle at a parking kiosk for a two hour maximum in order to prevent people from using the Cove to leave their cars while they attend other area events.
