I was on 441 so I decided to stop by. It's pretty much just like all Aldi stores. A lot of private label lines and some name brands. They carry some of the same items that Trader Joes carries and I know there is some family relationship involved, but they do operate as separate entities. This store is easy to find. It's at the opposite end of the Target shopping center on 441 and Palmetto Park Rd. There's plenty of parking in the lot right in front. The fruits and vegetables are always a good choice and so much less expensive than Publix. One of my guilty pleasures and I can't leave without at least 1... the chocolate bars! I absolutely love the the dark chocolate with almonds and at $2.29 for a 5 ounce bar... it's a steal!!! read more

Thumbs down for removing self-checkout. Scandalfoot Publix down the street JUST added self-checkout right when Aldi and others are removing theirs. Making a statement? I've become so used to self-checkout when purchasing only a few small items. Waiting in line for 15 mins for 5 items? This brings us back a decade and kills the Aldi vibe a bit. read more

I have been going to Aldi for a few years now, started in North Carolina, and I'm so glad they have them here in Florida.. They have a lot of good stuff and a lot of good prices... it's one of my go to grocery stores, and Publix is the other.. I love that they are German brand, because for certain German items I know that I can possibly find it in here when it's in season... for those that are complaining about the shopping cart, it is literally $.25 and you get that back.. and the reusable bags are not expensive either, it's kind of crazy to leave a bad review for those two small items that everyone can afford lol... I do love that this location has self check out... and if you love wine, definitely check their wine selection out, they have a good variety and you can find some good wines for under $10 read more

This aldi is in such a convenient location. You have ample free parking. The location also is fully stocked. You can beat the affordable pricing. You come out with loads of bags for a low price in comparison to other supermarkets. The staff is friendly. And you never really have a long line. read more

Love Aldi! I've been to a few different locations but by far the West Boca location is my favorite. Good thing too since I literally live across the street from it! Aldi always has a great selection of wines comparable to Trader Joe's. You can sometimes find really delicious wines for just a few dollars. They always have a great produce section at half the cost of Publix. They do have a nice meat selection as well, and I've tried everything from ground beef, chicken breasts, and even steaks. Never have been disappointed. A great value on things like eggs, milk and coffee creamer, juices, and other things like cheese and bacon. The prepackaged foods like mac & cheese, or Rice-A-Roni is not bad, but you can tell some of the things are not as comparable to the name brands. However, for the price, you absolutely cannot go wrong. They also have a little aisle with all kinds of cool HomeGoods and gift items. With all the crazy price increases I am now do my main shopping at Aldi and then go to Publix to fill-in what I can't find there. read more

First and last visit to the new Aldi in Boca Raton. Starts with a 25 cent deposit for the grocery cart. Yes, you get the quarter back, but few people I know walk around with loose change in their pockets. Minor inconvenience, but an unnecessary one. If 25 cents keeps someone from stealing a cart, well... I must add here that a very kind gentleman offered me a quarter. I wasn't going to be able to get one from the lone cashier, who was the only visible employee in the store, that's for sure. Product selection is very limited. Aldi touts low prices. Low prices are useless when product is unavailable. The experience ends with no bags at checkout. Aldi might be someone's cat's meow, however, certainly not for me. read more

I am not an Aldi fan. In the beginning, they didn't accept credit cards but now they do. Someone told me that they have sparkling water like Sparkling Ice for $.49. So I passed by and decided to stop in. The store is very busy with a limited selection. It seems like they only carry their private labels. This is our go to and it definitely is a solid place. Let me just tell you that they have some of the best prices for grocery stores. The service is kind of funky and it feels like I get rest a little bit when I'm at the service line, but the value and quality of their products are just worth it. Make sure you bring in your own bags and bring in your own boxes. read more

I give Aldi great credit for responding to my concerns. I emailed the corporate office and they created a case file to address the problem of lack of attention by the staff, to watering their plants. They seem to have corrected the problem. I hope they continue to give proper care to their living plants. I applaud their customer service! read more

I started going on some recommendations from friends. The pros: 1) They have very inexpensive fresh produce, snacks, cheese, dairy, ice cream which I thought were as good as what you would get in a regular food market. 2) Decent selection of items 3) Interesting limited time seasonal items. 4) You can get a really good laugh at the names of their private label knock-off brands that vaguely remind you of grocery name brands. My husband calls it "the German dollar store" for that reason alone. The cons: 1) Some of their frozen private label foods are terrible, such as their veggie burgers, frozen pizzas, and a few others I'm trying to forget. 2) Some of the people who shop there are very rude and lack basic manners and courtesy to other shoppers. And I've seen old people eat grapes out of a bag without washing them or paying. Truly gross. 3) The cashiers basically throw your food into a cart at high speed so get ready to catch any fruit that you don't want to get bruised before it hits the bottom of the cart! read more

I really wanted to like Aldi. I have several friends who love to shop there. I've only been to Aldi a few times. I've purchased a few items, mostly fruit and milk. Even though the store is small it's laid out well and items are easy to find. Their prices are pretty good. If you check out their weekly flyer you'll see several items on sale. So why only three stars? Because every time I go to check out there's only one register open. I have one or two items and I get behind someone with a full basket. Okay, that happens. Then the cashier carries on a conversation, takes off to do a price check or to find something. The line grows behind me and a second cashier opens another register. She calls over people from the back of the line instead of me and a few people behind me who have been waiting. Everyone is through the second line while I'm still waiting behind the guy with the full cart. One time I put back my groceries and left the store without buying anything. I'll go back and try again, because I really want to like Aldi. read more

This store is my second home. The prices are beyond competitive, specially if you are looking to find European delicacies or organic labels at half a price. I know some people don't like that store gets messy (which it does specially now during the COVID, it somehow brings the worst in people for whatever reason, and when I say people I mean shoppers), but the whole ability of being able to offer great prices is based on not having stocked shelves like in Publix or Fresh Market, or 10 lines open. To me that sounds ok, you have to figure out which are less busy times at your store and you won't wait in the line. The only thing I do wish that was available was less that 5 items line, since sometimes you just do forget one thing and have to go back. Some of the foods I regularly buy: Organic milk, organic ground beef, pork and lamb, organic pizza (Three Cheese is my kids favorite), Organic fruit and produce.. and I always check Aldi finds and newest European desserts. read more

Decided to stop by and check out the new place. Since its new it's very clean, the layout is nice and if you've ever been to an Aldi before it's pretty much the same as every other location. If you haven't check it out. Prices are decent. I didn't have any change to grab a cart but I didn't plan on buying more than a couple items anyway so I carried what I bought. Inconvenient, but that's Aldi. It was very busy but from the staff I encountered they were nice. I'm not a huge fan of Aldi as I prefer publix, but it's good for what it is. read more

Been a Aldi shopper since they came to my area about 5 years now. Love the price. Always friendly cashiers and stock workers who help. The aldi brand is always good and sometimes nearly half price of the comparable brand. The negative is they sell out of fresh food so you have to shop in the morning when the store is stocked up. read more

My absolute favorite store! We do the bulk of our shopping here and make up the rest of what we can't get here with a trip to Walmart. Their prices are fantastic and I find their stuff to be as good, if not better, than the brand names. I can fill up my cart here and only pay around $100. And I mean really fill my cart. Their specialty items are also great, I've purchased a handheld wet/dry vac that works perfectly, a blender, yoga pants, decorations, etc. I'm always happy with my purchases. Love that it's bring your own bags to save on waste and putting a quarter in to get your cart is such a great way to ensure people return them. No carts stranded in the parking lot or taking up spaces. Other stores can learn a lot from Aldi. It's the best! read more

I am a Publix and Doris" Market shopper but thought I would try Aldi after hearing positive comments from family and friends. You won't find a huge variety or name brands but the savings makes it worth the trip. Bring the quarter for the cart and your own bags. I purchased meats, lots of produce, milk, yogurt and the usual staples I generally pick up at Publix and a shopping cart full of food was a whopping $107 with a savings of $40 conservatively compared to Publix. A trip to the Doris' Market deli was still necessary but of well............. read more
