After picking up an online order at the Town Center at Boca Raton, I decided to stop by Wild Fork just down the road to browse and see what they had to offer. This unique, well-organized business is fully stocked with a vast selection of meats, seafood, frozen vegetables, desserts, and exotic meats such as kangaroo, elk, ostrich, and bison. Prices are fair and there are sales on selected items. In addition to shopping in-store, Wild Fork offers an optional membership where you receive free delivery on orders over $35 and exclusive deals. Delivery is available in selected areas. I appreciate Ms. Wilna's insight regarding the quality of the meats, which are blast-frozen to preserve freshness. The atmosphere remains relaxed as customers steadily arrive, yet the space does not feel overcrowded. I look forward to purchasing meats and seafood from Wild Fork so I can see the level of quality for myself.

Located all the way west in the Shoppes at Loggers Run there's plenty of parking in this big strip shopping center. Amazing fresh seafood section. They had live lobsters for $6.99 lb. I picked up 3 nice sized lobsters and the quality was very good. Also bought jumbo shrimp for $9.99lb. The store is clean and set up nicely. I found myself exploring up and down the aisles. You can find everything you need here. Fresh vegetables and herbs, a large selection of soy sauce, chili oil, frozen dumplings, soup mixes, noodles and more. It's a nice addition to the area.

With only a few aisles, this isn't a very large supermarket. They are also short of a lot of traditional Chinese or Japanese items that I was on the hunt for. Their prices are overshot by a huge margin. Even their sister store isn't that pricy. For example, their sister store in Lake Worth had hot pot sliced beef for $12.99 and they had it for $19.99. They had a bakery section that I was excited for. Didn't have half the variety they had signs for. Also no prices listed. Their hot food looked dried out and makes you question how long ago it was cooked. What was cool was their signs for the aisles looked like they were digital. Didn't confirm. The cashier and person bagging the groceries had little to no experience. They were trying to bag dried goods with cold refrigerated items.

The first thing I noticed about this establishment is the off putting smell when you first enter the store. It basically smells like a butcher shop since their meat section is near the entrance and all that air gushes at you when the automatic sliding doors open. This is a store run by Hispanics. I at first thought it was a Hispanic store (just how there are Indian stores and oriental East Asian stores), however it's just a regular quick stop grocery store. They have the basic produce and shelf items you can find at any store. The only difference is that over here the prices are cheaper as is the quality. I'm not sure which days they get a fresh delivery, but once I find out, I will be sure to write a tip about it. My favorite thing to get here is the dulce de leche ice cream pops (which are conveniently located near checkout) they have and the spicy jalapeño plantain chips (and a couple of the produce if I'm in the area).
