He came back with everything on my list and more. So this week when in the area, I wanted to stop by and check it out myself. They have a lot of produce. All very nicely arranged and marked clearly with price signs. Some items are quite reasonable -- especially those items in sale. Most are at a good price or comparable to your local market. They also have a section of ready to eat cooked food and other deli items in a cooler. I did get another container of chopped chicken liver as I'd really like the one we tried before. I liked the fact that some of the cooked foods were in small portions for 1 or 2 people. What I didn't expect was the shelves of international food items -- from British to Mexican. These shelves line one wall. The place isn't large, but it certainly will have most of the fruits and veggies you're looking for. My husband thought their jumbo eggs were a real bargain, too. I'm sure we will be back when next in the area.

This place is small but is well stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, precooked traditional meals, side dish items and foods from around the world, not to mention fresh Jumbo Eggs for $1.39. The inside is bright, clean and inviting, with friendly staff members to help you find items you may have passed over. They offer specials to enjoy and save some $$$, as well as bakery items from locals. As you get near the rear of the store you can smell some of the delicious aromas from items they are cooking up fresh. Prices are modest and better than the supermarket chains. If you are looking for some ready meals or are planning on cooking a meal yourself, here is where you will want to come to complete your shopping list.

Absolutely horrendous!!! It's shameful really. 2 times I went in and wasn't able to get help in…read morethe kitchen area. There was someone there that seemed good! - but she had people and waiting seemed endless. The first time idk what happened. But both x I left sorta frustrated. I figured I would make an appointment with someone in kitchen hopefully get the woman who seemed good. On two different occasions I called, and literally got no one at all, except for answering machines. What a joke - then when you try to get to the operator, you get disconnected. When I call back the second time, they must've recognized my number and automatically put me through to kitchen and again got no one except some sales guys answering service. Gross. Well f u HD. I'll get all new appliances at the Place across the street... you know - it starts w an L. So because of your incompetence, you lost a $6,000.00 or more sale. And guess what - I don't think people reading this, will be so keen to run to you. Get your shit together.

*** Another project update for my shower head on Wed., 6-3-26)***…read moreMy Moen shower head with side sprayer popped off the ball socket type of attachment onto the shower floor. Luckily, it didn't break. Unfortunately, I have an older type shower arm with a ball socket on the end. I had tried to turn the shower head, not realizing that it could only pivot up and down, so I caused it to pop off. After numerous tries on my own and tutorials on YouTube to figure it out, I finally decided to bring the whole shower head with parts to Home Depot to ask my "go-to" guy, Steve, in Plumbing for assistance. Steve wasn't there, but no worries; Vinny was there to the rescue. He escorted me to the area wall of parts to show me the adapters; however, after further conversation and inspection of my shower head, he told me it was relatively simple to re-install it. I went home to immediately do just that and in less than 10 minutes and without any tools, it was back in position securely. I tested out the water right away and, no leaks or spurts were anywhere. Thank you Vinny (if you get wind of this review) and The Home Depot for having considerate, knowledgeable and helpful employees to assist those of us in need for "Do-it-yourself" type of projects. I am one who is very grateful and will continue to be so.

If you've never been, use a GPS app and know it's in a little industrial park right off 15th in Pompano (east of Dixie). You'll probably see orn of their delivery truck in the parking lot. A lovely woman welcomed us inside. There, we found a small shop with pastas, sauces, and a lovely assortment of Italian cookies. She showed us a price list with their cheese options. We settled on the burrata, cherry size mozzarella balls, and fresh buffalo mozzarella. The cheese is delicious and so fresh. It is just like the amazing cheese you can get at fine shops in Italy. What a gem we have this cheese maker in Pompano! Our visit was brief as sadly they do not provide a tour like they did years ago. But i will be back more frequently moving forward, especially to replicate some amazing dishes I've had with burrata lately.
