Fairly large selection in an easy access location, with usually at least 20-30 pots of each offered plant, sometimes in both smaller and larger gallon options; usually names and prices are on easy to find placards, but sometimes not. They also have piles of landscaping stone, mulch and pallets of sod that are usually in much better shape than anything offered at Lowes or HD. Unfortunately, unlike Lowes, HD or Walmart garden centers, they take no returns, so do your research and choose among the pots carefully. I've seen entire rows of various plants all infested with the same pest or disease or rot, so keep your eyes open just in case, and know beforehand what healthy leaves should look like. prices are not much lower, if lower at all, than the chains, but, again, literally tons more choices. read more

They had a pretty good selection to choose from, about 5-6 different plants, and I went with a small snake plant which is perfect for my bedroom. A few months back I bought a hibiscus plant. It died a week at home. :((( I repotted. Gave it nutrients and did daily caring of the plant. One morning I woke up and I took my coffee to the balcony to watch the sunrise before my beach run. And the plant was alive!!!!! :)))) anything given love will continue to grow and look even better than when you first invested in it. :)))) Now every morning the plant thanks me for caring for her by giving me daily beautiful red flowers. (Tearing). FYI: I'm on the 9th floor. Full hard winds, sun, beach sediments since I have nothing blocking nature. Still with all this I have a beautiful garden. It's harder keeping the glass clean. I am a regular customer of Leserra's nursery and buy lots of winter flowers there every year. This year I spent almost $100. Among other plants I bought 3 flowering begonias and a penta. Easy to grow I buy them every year. After only a few days they were wilted spotted and a mess. I took my receipt and samples of the disgusting leaves back to Leserras. The man I spoke with was of no help and could have cared less. They take nothing back ! Never said sorry or anything. 0 customer service. No recourse. Nothing. I will never go back and would advise others not to go there. I just threw my money in the garbage. read more

I love this place for landscaping needs and the prices are better than Home Depot. They have tons of beautiful flowers and shrubs to choose from, unique ones too that you don't see at the chain stores. I also buy my mulch there, it's consistently cheaper. If you need rocks they have three types to choose from where you can buy them in bags or if you have a truck you can back it in and buy it by the pound. It's pretty much help yourself but they do have some staff to help you if you have questions. There'll be someone there to help you haul it into your car. I usually give them a $2 tip depending on how much I get. read more

Got soil here rather than Home Depot the cost difference is kinda insane, they helped load it in my vehicle and were super helpful. They accept Apple Pay which was handy. Last September 2023 we used a recommended landscaper from the Nursery Jean to replace our front yard grass. We needed 2 pallets. They installed the grass it looked alittle brown and not as green but what do we know about sod. So over the next weeks we watered and watered. Called Jean mulitple times about the grass. He did not answer. When he did he came out and added fertilizer once. We called Leserra's Nursery and the lady on the phone was rude about the brown grass and said. " This grass is resilient just give it time. " 6 months later it's just not growing nice and green as we expected and paid for. So now on Facebook there is another person who got bad grass from this Nursery. So we are putting a bad review out there to help anyone else who chooses this nursery for sod. Sod has to be fresh. The third person who processed my payment asked if there is anything else that they could help me with an answered questions regarding a gardenia tree that was replanted with expertise. This nursery is a hidden gem in my neighborhood, I have lived here for six years and never knew it was here, pass by it probably every day or so. It's awesome!! I found everything I was looking for, and more, in fact I cannot wait to come back next week, got lots of ideas from their plant offerings. It had such variety, the people who worked there knew where everything was and really helped me - it was clean and beautiful, whoever is in charge of the layout is very very good. Today I went to Leserra to get some marble stone. I could've gone to Lowe's but I chose to come here to support a local business. I have shopped here before. I have to say I am not impressed with their customer service. The girls behind the counter are not friendly. Also, many of their staff show to not want to be bothered. Lastly, it is discouraging when you see signs all over that say all sales final. Any product that leaves the nursery is not our responsibility. To me, that's bad customer service. I live nearby in Boca, but I much prefer Flamingo Nursery in Davie. 30 minutes away but much nicer staff and product! I won't be coming here anymore. read more

Rows of bright flowers, sprawling trees and tiny bushes...you'd never know from the highway the vast size of the nursery nor the wide array of options. For the holidays my sister and I wanted to get our parents a mango tree. After having hit up a few other nurseries without much success (other people must have had the same idea since mango and avocado trees were all out of stock elsewhere), we pulled into the gravel lot at Leserra's. It did feel a bit less like a tropical garden and more like a nursery though, with rows of well organized plants and flowers to make the selection easier (other places had been far more haphazardly organized for visual effect). Immediately appreciated how helpful and friendly they were, a far cry from the other places that hassled us about wanting only one tree rather than to landscape an entire yard. Extra bonus, they said that the trees are already grafted so they should start producing fruit within a year or two! Next, without preamble, we were told what sizes they had and the prices (we opted for the larger size at $45), and then they even took us via golf cart to view their inventory and select our favorite. After choosing the largest and heartiest of the bunch, they marked ours and even promised to bring it to us that day! Choosing to have them install it for us cost $35 for our tree, and since we had them plant it, they waived the delivery fee. They had said they would bring it by after 4pm, and at precisely 4:01 there was a knock on the door. Installation was quick and after seeing how many large rocks I would have had to break through with the shovel, I've never been so happy to hand over money for a much needed service. This is a very good nursery. I decided during the pandemic to get outside and work on my landscaping. I shopped around to about 5 nurseries, because I was looking at assortment of plants, pricing and the health of the plant. I bought from 3 of the nurseries mainly because of the assortment I wanted. I couldn't get what I wanted in sizes just from one. I am happy to say that all the products I bought have thrived. The staff here have been able to answer any questions I have and that is what counts. I'm getting lots of compliments on the landscaping. I stopped by there today to buy a few taller plants and got an Apostle Iris. Can't wait to see it bloom. read more

1st time I purchased sod it was great. 2nd time it was full of grubs which I did not notice until half of it was already laid. Called to ask for a refund, had to drive back with the other half where they swapped it for new sod from the same batch of course. Just went there to get some sod. Seen another guy parked next to the sod pallets loading up some so I went to park next to him since I went there for sod. Some young kid saw me and pointed for me to move. I said I was parking there because needed sod. He then very rudely pointed again for me to park somewhere and said something I couldn't understand. I felt very disrespected as I was there to give this place my business but was greeted by what seemed to be a frustrated and rude employee. A little dignity and respect goes a long way. Cheapest sod around at about $1.15 per piece. as comparison, Home Depot down the street wanted $1.50 per piece. Lowes wanted $2.00 per piece. and if you buy a whole pallet of sod there its $0.88 per piece. I will be buying garden stuff there from now on over the big retail stores. read more

Loved this place! Your own garden nursery in the city. Excellent selection and incredibly helpful staff. I went looking for an oleander tree and had questions on other options for my yard. I left with all the plants I needed and will be looking in my yard to see if I can find spots for even MORE plants I really wanted. The prices are hit and miss. Liriope and small plants are cheaper elsewhere, but the trees and mid sized plants are fair market price, and they are in a lot better shape than some other nurseries. I paid for 4 bags of potting soil, they gave me 4 bags of topsoil. When I called them to tell them, they refused to do anything about it (didn't even apologize for their mistake) and were very rude to me. If these people make a mistake, they will not take responsibility for it, you will just be out your hard-earned money. These are not nice people. Don't go there!
