I was provided a date that the car would be ready 5 times and the first 2 times I received a call stating that it would not be ready. Then they just stop calling. I had to go to the garage to be told that is was not ready when they said it would be which was followed increasing attitude like it was my fault I wanted my vehicle when they said it would be done. When I finally picked up my car over the next 24 hours the car died 3 times with warning lights that stated transmission failure. I went back to the garage very upset and asked what was the problem. The old man that works there stated that I shouldn't say anything because I hadn't even paid the full bill yet. The son that works there stated the he would work with me on the bill and that the bill was no an issue. It was determined that a crank shaft sensor was the cause of the most recent issue and that owner agreed to add that to my outstanding bill which would be paid in full on the 15th of January. The car was dropped of this morning and I was told that it would be ready to pick up today. I called multiple times to the same old answering machine saying, " we are not available now leave a message and we will call you back", ya right! I had to leave work early only to be told it would likely be tomorrow. The old mad was full of attitude even after I apologized for being upset the previous day. Absolutely terrible!

After some research into area shops, I decided to try OCR. I was highly impressed at how clean, efficient, and professional the office and the garage was. The estimator who worked with me was very honest, and the estimate was accurate to the actual services performed. The service was fast, too, once I went in for the repairs - one day turnaround - and fairly priced. The repairs I needed were minor and cosmetic, so I did not work with insurance and I can't comment on that aspect, but they do seem to work with all major insurance companies. All the little things I needed done got done, and when they finished, they lightly detailed my car, including buffing out some scratches on the hood, which was a nice touch. Of course, I hope I never need to come back, but if I do need a body shop's services again, I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

After this I was pretty disappointed, so I searched out for comparable brands and cars and arrived at Infiniti's Q50. Now the difficult part came around, finding the right color car, with all the bells and whistles I wanted. I test drove one initially, that had everything I wanted but the color. So I passed on it. A week later or so I came back and was prepared to offer something for the car regardless of the color, but the car was already gone. So back to step one again. I found one that I wanted down in OKC, but did not really want to drive the 400 miles to go pick it up, and told myself I'd give the local Infiniti of Omaha the opportunity to see if they could come up with the exact car that I wanted. Almost on que, I got a call from Jose; my salesperson, which he told me that they had acquired a car with everything I wanted including the color, the tech package, the wheels, everything. This thing was full loaded. His manager was quick to put a reasonable deal together. So I took the deal! They even worked with me on holding a check until my insurance claim on my previous car cleared. The communication was excellent, and their demeanor was superior in terms of customer service. I highly recommend this team, as well as these vehicles. Couldn't be happier with my Infiniti Q50!!

I had a sudden grinding sound going on my underneath my Jeep Commander. I thought it might be a…read moreloose break caliper or worse from hitting potholes. I took it right up to a well known local tire and auto chain because they were close and I figured they could at least diagnose the problem. I left it with them and they called back the next day and said they'd have to send it to their "transmission specialist". I later found out their transmission specialist was another well know local transmission chain that they took it to. The next day I called and they told me it was a bad transfer case that went bad because the tread on my tires from from to back was not matching so I'd need new tires in addition to new struts etc. all totaling over $6000. There was so much I wanted to say but unfortunately didn't. I should have asked them if they felt it was ethical to try and get $6000 in repairs on a 2007 Jeep with over 150,000 miles on it. Its worth less than half that. Instead I said, "none of that is going to happen. I'm coming to get my car." I gave them $100 diagnostic fee and left and took it straight to EM Transmission because I had read good reviews and they were fairly close. This was a Friday night and Eric told me he wouldn't be able to do anything till Monday which I said was fine. I also told him what had happened and what the other repair shop told me. I said, "look, I know I could probably use a new struts and the tires aren't brand new but I have replaced them not that long ago and so basically I would like to fix the grinding that's happening if it's reasonable because at this point I'd like to get maybe another year out of it before I sold it because it's paid off and it's nice to not have a payment." Eric said he'd let me know what he found. Later that night, remember this is a Friday night Eric called me and said he did have a chance to drive it and check it out and that he saw that there was a brake ABS warning light on the dash among other service lights that were on as well. He said he had a thought and would let me know Monday what he found out. He call me back Monday as promised and informed me that I had a bad sensor on one of my brakes that was causing the transfer case the problem that was causing the grinding. He fixed the sensor which costed me $150 and I was out the door. Out the door after thanked him and promised him an amazing review. There are some honest, real mechanics still around like Eric if you do some digging. This was over a week ago and it's been running perfect. THANKS AGAIN!
