The school day progressed at a reasonable speed and all of my classmates and I left the class feeling no ready to hit the slopes. All of us upgraded our tickets to do the overeasy hill. Our instructor, Colin was very attentive to all of the people in the class. We had a small class of 5 which made it feel personable. All of the people that were in the class were supportive of each other. Other skiers were also cautious of us newbies out on the slopes.Along with being my first ski class this was my first visit to Hoodoo. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall good atmosphere& I plan to be back!

The lodge is spacious and nice. Food is pretty standard for a ski mountain. People are super friendly. The mountain itself is stunning. Views of a huge lake and you can see the clouds. It's beautiful. Ticket prices vary by day and how far in advance you buy. They have a reloadable card which is great. When you buy a ticket it automatically goes to the card so when you get there you can just hop right on the lift. Overall, solid mountain for a day trip.

For such a beautiful historic lodge, it's exceptionally clean and wonderfully maintained. Staff were so kind to me and catered to my unique thru-hiker needs. They even shuttled me around because I was traveling on foot! This was the PERFECT place to recover after being caught in a multi-day snow storm on the mountain. The owners are outdoor enthusiasts, so they are genuinely interested in helping everyone enjoy the outdoors. Very hiker friendly! Great atmosphere. Caring staff. Cozy rooms. Stunning views. Delicious food. Cute gift shop. Roaring fires. Fair prices. Live music. I was able to get the rest I needed and to get all of my things prepared to continue on my PCT adventure. I was treated like family. I felt like I was in Heaven. Unforgettable.
