I have used them for all my framing that other areas are unable to provide. The service has been excellent both Jason and Allan know what to expect from me as I am building an inventory of series in different styles. One of my business partners is also using Vistra and is very pleased with their work. This is the place to go.

I was a little hesitant at first, but the kind gentleman reassured me and explained how to do it. This was also going to be the fastest and least expensive way for me to get my picture framed and also meet the deadline. The website was easy to use and I was able to select from a number of frames, mats, and glass or plexiglass. Three days later, my framing materials were ready. I picked it up the following day and the gentleman at the counter explained to me how to make sure and put it together correctly. I brought the picture home and put it together, and the result was beautiful. I highly recommend this frame shop for their excellent service and cost effective Do-it-yourself framing --if that's some thing you're keen to try. I'm sure having the piece professionally framed would have resulted in excellent quality work as well. I would trust them to do this if that was something I needed in the future.

I attended UO for a couple years before transferring. The education was good, but it's a large university so there are going to be those courses where you're one of 100 other students in a huge lecture hall. I also took several Japanese and music courses that had 20-30 students, so it all depends upon what you're taking, of course. The university itself is nice, a lovely setting. It's an arboretum, with over 500 species of trees on campus, and there are several thousand trees on campus as well. Pioneer Cemetery cuts through campus--yes, I've used it as a shortcut. The Oregon Bach Festival is kind of headquartered here, with Festival events taking place at the Hult Center as well as other venues around town. The Museum of Natural and Cultural History sits on the east side of campus and shares history of the city and larger geographical area. I visited and saw a really interesting exhibit about Black history in Eugene and I really appreciated this perspective on my hometown that I didn't learn about in elementary, middle, or high school. There is the ugly, of course, which is Nike's relationship to the university. The company started in Eugene when the famous coach Bill Bowerman used a waffle iron to improve the shoes his runners wore, and student Phil Knight partnered with him and it took off. Federal and state disinvestment in higher education makes for partnerships that are vital to the university, which is happening here. Buildings, athletics facilities, etc. are heavily influenced by or downright decided by the man himself, I'm sure, which is uncomfortable. Hopefully it frees up money in other places to hep students attend. I can't say my review is totally unbiased because of the hometown connection--it has a special place in my heart for that reason. If UO had had the major I wanted, I would have stayed there to complete my education--but that's easy for me to say as an in-state student. But I know several folks from Eugene or beyond who went there and are also happy with the education they received and the setting in which they received it, so it's worth checking out.

Needless to say, we never got a call back, so we were not able to fulfill the birthday wish. The birthday girl and I am severely disappointed, sad and now angry. This is not the experience we wanted or expected. We were in the store six months ago and everyone was falling all over themselves to set up a private class. This isn't how you run a business, it's not how you treat customers, and it's certainly not how you stay in business. The business owner, Cindy, saw my review and said they do not have the staff to offer private classes. Then continued to say to check the website for a form that has info on private events. So which is it? Either you do or you don't. It doesn't matter because they've lost our business and we are now spreading the word to avoid this place because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. We did get two call backs by the way, one guy told us we needed to talk to Priscilla (who never called us back or would come to the phone) and the other said she taught those classes but wouldn't be available the day we wanted.

Cute painting place. Definitely a great date night place as well :) will be coming back here!read more

My hair began breaking while soaking wet, with pieces visibly coming off during the service. Despite this, the student continued brushing and working on my hair instead of stopping immediately. I was not informed that my hair was breaking, and no instructor was called over. The student attempted to hide the hair that had fallen out by concealing it in the brush. The damage was only acknowledged after I explicitly pointed out that my hair was falling out. Anyone with even basic cosmetology knowledge knows that wet hair--especially freshly bleached wet hair--is extremely fragile. You do not brush it while soaking wet, and you absolutely do not start brushing from the scalp down. That is exactly what was done. After the damage occurred, I was pressured to return the next day for a consultation despite stating I was unavailable due to work, and I was told I was still required to pay due to a waiver. A waiver does not excuse negligence, improper technique, or failure to disclose damage as it happens. If you value your hair, proceed with extreme caution. I am leaving this review so others are warned before booking services here.
