She tells you to lay your stuff on her chair in "her living room". Get cozy, and craft! My 7 year old daughter, loves to craft. She was in awe of Deb's display of all things craft supplies. She asked if she could have Deb's collection of craft supplies.I told her one day. She started right away, painting, coloring, and being in her element. Her 3 year old sister is right there following in her big sisters foot steps. We loved hearing about all the classes coming up and seeing them on the wall is fun too. My girls and I live in CA, my Mom has a house here in Florence so we come to visit a lot. This time around we looked for a house in Albany because we are moving. My daughters loved painting rocks, picture frames, star's, and other Americana decor. We decided to come back the next day to decorate cupcakes. Oh my goodness, Deb had the whole she-bang! Sprinkles galore, cool star sprinkles, different color icing, fondant, fun 4th of July picks to put in them. The girls had way to much fun. When we left my 3 year old Emmy says Mom lets come back, that was fun. I told her you are right, that was fun, we will definitely be back. We had our pick of every color of glass and our creativity was our only limit. The design studio is a bit small, with a nice open feel ,large windows and plenty of parking. We had it to our selves at 11am on a Sunday. The woman working that day was very helpful, available and encouraging. I hope to go back, maybe take a class that they offer to improve skills.

However, there were a few cons -- he used cheap acrylic paint (which I understand) but the brushes were also extremely cheap and used to the point where it caused frustration with my painting because the brushes would not do what I envisioned. My spouse, who is an artist, was frustrated by this as well. I also expected a little more guidance than I got as someone who does not do art -- there were certain times I was really struggling and would've benefitted from a more hands-on approach than just letting us do our own thing. I still had fun, but I don't think that for the materials and guidance we got, it was fairly priced at $45 pp. For the experience we got I would've expected to pay closer to $30 pp.

Alejandro was very helpful and patient with me and accommodated my request regardless of wrong booking. Second, my BF changed the plans on him last minute and asked if he could paint his pet instead of the landscape we initially picked before. He graciously accommodated his request and took the time to sketch each of our pets and stayed overtime to make us happy. He also didn't rush us out the door even though we stayed much longer than expected. He is very friendly and pleasant person to work with. If you have a special day and want to make it memorable, book an art class with him. You won't be disappointed!

If you love art, especially locally produced art then you have to check this place out. The statues outside in the park are great, but the real treasures are on the inside. Definitely worth a visit!
