This was for a special birthday and it's all we wanted to do. Needless to say, we never got a call back, so we were not able to fulfill the birthday wish. The birthday girl and I am severely disappointed, sad and now angry. This is not the experience we wanted or expected. We were in the store six months ago and everyone was falling all over themselves to set up a private class. This isn't how you run a business, it's not how you treat customers, and it's certainly not how you stay in business. The business owner, Cindy, saw my review and said they do not have the staff to offer private classes. Then continued to say to check the website for a form that has info on private events. So which is it? Either you do or you don't. It doesn't matter because they've lost our business and we are now spreading the word to avoid this place because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. We did get two call backs by the way, one guy told us we needed to talk to Priscilla (who never called us back or would come to the phone) and the other said she taught those classes but wouldn't be available the day we wanted.

I stayed behind to talk with the manager and they offered me a 10% off coupon on my next purchase. The next day, I noticed the crack was rendering the pitcher completely ineffective, the water drained out leaving a puddle and my flowers dried up. I called to see if anything could be done as compensation, since the item was damaged during the glazing process, while in their care. They stated they could do nothing else for me since they already gave me the 10% off coupon and recommended I purchase ceramic glue to repair it myself. Love the idea of an art space like this one in Eugene but they do not take accountability for broken items.

I waited another 15 minutes and still no help. I qent back up and she had forgotten all about me. I could tell. At this point I asked for a manager. I waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. Must be a great place to work because you can collect a paycheck and do absolutely nothing. Go down the street and shop at hobby lobby. They have so much better help. I waited for a total of 30 minutes before making this post trying to give them every chance. Don't shop here unless you have time to kill.

This is one of those flea market type shops where you rent an area in the store and sell your…read morestuff, whatever that may be. They've got craft items, old books, VHS tapes, clothes, and much more. I recently bought an Oregon Duck print pillow, that's handmade by the seller. I always enjoy it. The employees are always nice. Nothing special, and a little slow because they have to write down the seller ID so they can credit the right person because of so many vendor booths. But they've all worked there forever, so you see familiar faces. Prices aren't bad, if you know what you're buying. It's mostly handmade items, so you may pay a higher price because of that. I try to compare it to booths at the Scandinavian festival to see which is the better deal for certain things. It's a store I've gone to many times and will keep returning to, because I can buy craft items made by someone local. I love that aspect of it.

I moved here from Seattle where they have Seattle ReCreative, a place that takes donations of art…read moresupplies and things that could be used for art. I moved to Eugene and was thinking wouldn't it be great if Eugene had such a place, and lo and behold, MECCA! It's like Seattle ReCreative but 10+ times larger! Paint, canvas, paper, folios, yarn, fabric remnants, yogurt tubs, wine bottles, plant pots, scrapbook papers, so much fun stuff to get you thinking creativity on a budget. My only suggestion is they might find a way to fill in the huge puddle right in front of their door, and that they somehow get more parking spaces!

I'll still be shopping there because FOH people have always been so kind and amazing, but idk about donating because I really don't want to experience that again. Didn't get her name, but whoever was doing the donations in the back at 1pm today needed a break or something. She rolled her eyes, only spoke like two words to me and my partner, threw the bags down aggressively, and her overall attitude was not pleasant to encounter.

In an unfamiliar area to us, it was well hidden. Once we found it, future visits would be ok if we come back. Kennette, the owner, has wonderful classes and she and her staff are beyond knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Her fabrics are beautiful and of the highest quilting quality. I have since moved out of the state, but come back twice a year, just to see all of the friends I made at this shop and to attend Kennette's awesome quilting retreat. Do not go through the area without stopping in at this great quilting store!

The instruction was good, and the employees were very helpful throughout with helping us complete our wreaths or offering advice if we got stuck. I appreciated that all supplies were included.
