Specialties
We offer a variety of Group Movement Classes for adults taught by certified professional instructors. Whether it's Functional Fitness, Dance Fitness, or Dance classes for adults, we have you covered. These classes allow you to engage in exercises meant to strengthen your core and challenge your balance! Music will be pumping, but don't worry if you can't keep a beat! Considerations for injuries or specific client needs will be included in Functional Fitness and Dance classes. Check our website for more detailed class descriptions.
Personal sessions are a great opportunity for clients that are working with physical therapists, whether recovering from an injury or working to correct old postural habits. Personal sessions include a combination of dance, Pilates, and somatic techniques and a kinesthetic approach to create personalized movement phrases to increase fluidity, strength, and flexibility in the body. Personal sessions may also be booked for focused one-on-one dance training.
History
Established in 2018.
Since 2008, Lou has been teaching adults dance in the Eugene community at various studios. In early 2018, she started seeing clients privately for Functional Movement Therapy.
In 2020, Rebelle Movement opened its own studio and was able to create a space for dance and functional fitness classes for adults. With the support of certified professional instructors who have also been in the Eugene dance community for years, Rebelle Movement continues to grow.
We are committed to helping you FEEL your best so you can BE your best. We believe in helping clients find deeper connections between mind and body through education, self-awareness and tactile cueing. Although we foster self-empowerment and self-motivation, we believe a strong educational foundation of fundamental anatomy and movement from a skilled instructor is the key to long-term success. Knowledge is power.
