I believe this is Vermont's only Harley dealer. We took a 30 minute detour off of the Scenic 100 which is one of the Harley Owners Groups 50 Rides 1 Nation rides. The 188 mile road goes all the way across Vermont and we were riding it north to south. We mainly went because we collect poker chips. They sell theirs for $5 each which is a bit on the high side. The design is unique in that it seems to be made up of real phots instead of artwork. They have covered parking and a big one way lot that requires you to loop around the back. You enter through the sales floor and they have a small number of bikes. Seems like most are kept outside, at least the used ones. Motor clothes takes up two areas. They only have 3 restrooms so not a great spot for a large group to stop. The entire 20 minutes we were there someone was in the mens room the entire time and after asking for a second restroom someone showed me one in the back of the store. Staff was very friendly and polite. read more

We love wilkins we have bought 2 Harleys over the past 7 years and my spouse got his motorcycle endorsement there. We definitely recommend buying a bike there. We love all the Saturday events and giveaways and raffles throughout the year! At the march madness 75% off event we saved over $450 on 2 HD motorcycle jackets, a hoodie, and a HD coffee mug! Next year we plan to buy another bike from Wilkins. We enjoy dressing our kids with HD apparel the styles are so adorable. Helmets and protective wear is so expensive and we love deals and getting high quality gear at a low cost is so important to our budget! We have so many more great things to say about wilkins! read more

Wilkins Harley-Davidson - March Madness jacket #1 purchase price $68 we were so thrilled! I got a woman's matching camo jacket for $47 - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - Barre, Vermont

I have bought more vehicles and toys than I can count over the years, from tons of dealerships, and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen any auto, boat, bike, or other dealership that even comes remotely close to Wilkins and their staff. People are what make an organization, and Wilkins employs the absolute finest. It is evident they all love what they do. From my first phone call to ask about a test ride, to when I walked in the dealership, I was enthusiastically greeted and introduced all around. I instantly felt like I belonged there. Luke was excellent to work with, and the entire sales process was zero pressure. The nice touch was that the GM insists on personally giving you the overview of your new ride, explains all features, and gives you his personal cell number if you have questions. Could I have saved a few bucks buying from somewhere else that sacrifices service for bare bones cost? Probably. Will I sleep like an baby knowing I bought a quality product from a gem of a dealership that treats their customers like close family and will be there for me any time I have a question? Absolutely. There is a reason they are the top rated dealership in New England, and it's because of the people that work there, that care about the people that shop there. I've never taken the time to write a review for a dealership in 20 years, but this dealer deserves my time because they have gone above and beyond for me before, during, and after purchase. read more

While this is disappointing to have to come on and say this, I had a very terrible first experience with these guys and after a family member that is currently going through them convinced me to give them a second chance I went back removed my old review and gave it another go And here I am once again leaving a One star review the experience has been so bad that I'm being treated as though I'm a criminal trying to buy a 20 year old bike and it has gone so far as to where Wilkins has done something fraudulently and I have had to report them not only to their financial division i've gone and filed a report to Trans Union and it's looking like I'm going to have to file a police report as well. I'm sure some of the people that work. There are very nice people, but the way the business is run and how they do business as a whole is not a place I would ever recommend to anybody if you're in Vermont maybe it's your best option but as for the rest of New England, you can find much better places to go and I encourage you to do so. I'm sorry, John, but this review stays up you can't convince me to take this one down. read more

Perfect! That is how I am describing all the work done on my StreetGlide over this past winter! From the parts team to the service team, I was treated like one of the family. I thought that the purchase of the bike was smooth... Well let me tell you, all the transactions have been that smooth if not smoother. I can not thank everyone at Wilkins for all the hospitality as well as extended service that they have provided. If I where Barb & John, I would pat myself on the back and be happy as hell to have such a great staff!! I would also like to ad that everyone at Wilkins has always welcomed my kids and wife there, it's not just about 1 person, it's always about you and your family!! Five stars are not enough! Thanks again "Wilkins Team" read more

I just have to say from the moment I contacted them I got a call back from one of the co-owners on a day when they weren't open. Never felt rushed off the phone he talked with me answered all my questions as I was upgrading from my sportster 1200. I had a Dyna super glide and sold that bike was looking for some thing bigger to take longer trips. The team at Wilkins we're all happy to answer any of my questions any time I called even when I got different people on the phone it was genuine and real. I live in the Hudson valley almost 5 hours away and I drove all the way up there to pick up my bike. When I got there I was greeted by almost every person in every department all of which were truly psyched for my new purchase. I've been in many Harley dealerships and this by far was the most friendly most genuine team of people. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good bike and a great team. I live almost 250 miles away and will be driving that distance when my bike needs service that's how great I felt about their team. I can't say enough about this family run business that was started by one of the owner's grandfather. It's so rare these days to have a business that's like this. Most places if you're not spending over $25,000 they walk away and barely give you the time of day. You could walk into their shop just to buy a T-shirt and they would still treat you the same. I'm old-school and loyalty and treating people well no matter who they are is some thing to be valued. I was going to take my bike home that day but unfortunately a snow storm hit the area and with no hesitation they offered to keep my trailer and my bike as long as I needed until I could get back to pick it up. And I also think their service that they offer of delivering the bike for you frankly at a price that is purely out of wanting good business and trying to help their customers. I would buy another bike from them in a second and will do the rest of my business owning Harleys with them because of it. Honestly it's because of the way I was treated that I drove the distance that I did and bought the bike that I did. So thrilled about my new Road King can't wait to get out there and ride. And the team at Wilkins honestly felt the same way. It's worth the drive and if you can't drive there call them up and I guarantee you your experience will be one that will make you want to buy a bike from them!! read more

I was recently traveling through Vermont on a Saturday when my front wheel bearings started growling. I called Wilkins Harley Davidson and explained my situation to a young lady that answered the phone. She put me in touch with John, one of the owners who verified they had the parts and said to bring it right down. When I arrived at the Dealership it was very busy, John was the first person I ran into. He took me over to the service area and introduced me to OB, who got the ball rolling on repairing my bike. Next a gentleman named Mark introduced himself to me, he knew my story from John and asked if there was anything he could do to help me, water, coffee and even offered me a loaner car to grab some lunch. Dan Stevens was my technician, who took the time to show me the bad wheel bearings. I can not speak highly enough of how I was treated, the friendliness, and professionalism of the entire team at Wilkins. As busy as it was they had me back riding in two hours. They have won my respect and business Mark Koch read more

Walked in to talk about trading a few old bikes. I was treated super nice while I was there. As soon as I left I never heard from them again (even though they said "they would be touching base with me" to talk about options the following week. They stopped paying any attention to me the minute they realized I wasn't looking at the brand new inventory. Also most of their bikes are marked well above msrp. If they wanted a sale they would have reached out to me. Bad customer service after they realized I wasn't dropping 30 grand. Just head to green mountain hd if your looking. They will work with you. read more

I purchased a new 2014 Harley V-rod from Jon Sargent(sales), Bo(finance) and the team over at Wilkins H-D last week and can't say enough about the experience. The entire staff takes the time to educate you on all their products and services and will make your buying experience wonderful whether it's your first Harley or 5th. I love my bike and will be taking it to their performance center for all my modifications, and plan to have every major service handled by their team. Even if you are in the Burlington area like I am, make Wilkins your Harley dealer, no hidden fees, no nonsense. read more

Great service last Friday on last minute oil change. Left bike in morning and picked it up at noon all ready and washed.

This dealership is amazing! Being new to riding, not only did they find me the perfect "starter" bike they also have a Riding Academy to help to teach you to ride and you finish the class with your license! Their pricing is fair and honest, no hidden fees or unwarranted charges. This is the Harley dealership you need to do business with! They do not just make you feel like a valued customer, they make you feel a part of the family! read more

Had a bunch of work done early this spring and was very pleased with the results. These guys actually care about their customers and once you've been in their a time a two they will treat you like family. I've dealt with Harley shops all over the country, new old big and small and I've never felt like a dealership cared as much as this one does. They aren't the cheapest around but they are in my opinion the best dealership I've ever been to! read more

I visited this dealership and was blown away by the customer service!!! I will absolutely be back and would highly suggest anyone looking for a new or pre-owned HD to check these guys out. There's a crazy person's yelp review on this page in all capitals that I couldn't even follow but just in case anyone thinks anything of it, I wanted to give my full 5 stars because it's truly deserved.
