    Kale Chickpea Salad
Kale, Vegan Tahini Dressing, Roasted Butternut Squash, Pickled Red Onions, Puffed Chickpeas.

From what i heard previously from Wilfred's, i expected a little more upscale place. Also I was disappointed that we weren't served but we had to go up to the counter. For the price point, I think they should be serving as well. Cute inside though and casual. Fairly simple menu. I decidedon the Maine Lobster roll with kale chickpea salad. I did like that you can change your fries to any of their salads with no charge. My husband went with the Royale burger with fries. There was some fun beer and cocktails, but we couldn't resist the Made by Markus milkshakes. We both went with Strawberry. Food took awhile to come out considering no one was there. Food was good. I really liked my Maine Lobster roll. Tasted fresh. Decent amount of lobster love the yuzu mayo. Hickory sticks added a nice crunch. Kale Chickpea salad was fresh, tasty and a good portion. Husband enjoyed his burger. It was filling. Fries were good. However the best thing? The milkshakes. We LOVED our milkshakes I don't think I would be running back here, but it was in the area I would revisit.

    Brekkie bowl

. Cute, but modern place with a good vibe and friendly staff. The food was good, but not unreal. Here's my synopsis: 1) Brekkie bowl with Salmon -$18 - it was something different with the kale salad essentially. I would've liked maybe a creamier sauce and pickled onions instead. The salmon was the equivalent of frozen sliced salmon from Costco, so wasn't impressed with that addition. The smashed potatos were good, but they should consider making some house made aioli or something for some extra flavor. The table salt and pepper weren't enough to bring flavor. It was still tasty and fresh, so would try again maybe with some modifications! . 2) maple sausage sandwich - 16$ - looks good but wasn't my favorite flavor. I think that it was just something I didn't like though. . Overall we enjoyed ourselves and good place for a catch up. They serve @acecoffeeroasters coffee as well

This was my first visit to Wilfred's diner and my first impression was a really good one - I will be back! I had the blueberry and lemon curd French Toast and it was TO DIE for! My friend had their class eggs dish and it was hardy and well cooked, great little roasted potatoes that looked like little squished Pac Mans LOL. We both had the warm spiced latte - yummy! Every dish I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing including the lobster roll and burgers. Next time I'll go for lunch. Highly recommend this place.

    Hot chicken sandwich with fries

**Shout out to Daniel at Wilfred's for the excellent service. I had not heard of Wilfred's before, but my friend suggested it for a joint bday dinner. What a hidden gem! I didn't even know it existed, and if you weren't actively seeking it, you may not even notice it driving by. It's super charming, and they share their space with an ice cream shop called Made by Marcus. The slogan I caught on their social media is "good food, good people".... Definitely experienced both! The food was fresh, hot, flavourful. I had the hot chicken sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. I will be back for that alone. Finished it off with a churro ice cream sandwich which was equally amazing. I also enjoyed a couple of glasses of natural wine- they rotate the menu regularly, and consisted of female lead wineries in honour of International Women's Day. Daniel was our server and he is such a delightful human. Very kind, sociable, and made it feel like you were being served by a good buddy of yours. So, I think their hiring practices live up to the slogan. This is easily my new favourite spot in the Brewery District. It's adorable, relaxed, and quality. A great spot to socialize with good friends.

I didn't know anything about this place and accidentally came across it on social media and am so glad I did. The atmosphere was awesome, kind of a new age diner, very clean and bright. They have a small kids menu, my boy (3 yo) had the grilled cheese and fries and loved it. I had the Wilfred's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich ($18) with onion rings ($2 up charge from fries or salad), It was delicious, SLOPPY (ask for extra napkins) but delicious! They will ask if you want it mild or spicy, I got it spicy and it really wasn't that hot at all. It looks like they have a nice selection of adult beverages including 3 taps that support 3 different local breweries. This place is a must check out and a place I will definitely be back to check out and taste more of their menu.

First time here. A friend suggested it. I loved it. No long wait, quaint , unpretentious place. Great atmosphere. My avocado toast was delicious. Topped with radish, fennel, cucumbers. It was very refreshing the potatoes were cooked just right. If your are familiar with Marcus Ice-cream, they are related amd you cam buy the ice cream to go!!

    Matcha Sunrise
    Rose W.

Went here to eat brunch one weekend. It was quite busy inside but we were seated fairly quickly at the bar without a reservation. The inside is very modern and has a cute aesthetic feel to it. I ordered the Matcha Sunrise for my drink. It mixed orange juice with matcha together. It was a drink that looked pretty for pictures. Taste wise it was not bad. If you don't mix the drink, the matcha flavor is very strong at the beginning. The drink is a bit pricey for $6. I also ordered the avocado toast because it seemed like a popular item people order. The presentation was simplistic and healthy. However the toast was hard as rock. It was difficult to bite into and cut up. Perhaps it's a personal preference on bread type but I don't remember rye bread being so hard to bite into. It made the dish less enjoyable and the avocado was seasoned too salty for my taste. My boyfriend's ordered their brunch special which was the Icelandic Char Eggs Benedict. I tasted a bit of it and it was delicious! The char was cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly with it. This dish redeemed my experience here. I may come back in the future but it is not high on my priority. It has a cute atmosphere but the food is a hit or miss.

Restaurant with my niece. The restaurant is super child friendly!

The staff was super friendly and it was a neat idea that the restaurant was joined with Made by Marcus icecream parlour. I wish this was indicated a little better with seating. When we arrived the server was on the back side of the L shaped table seating so we were unsure where to sit. The back and left side of the restaurant is for Wilfred's. The restaurant was super child friendly and the server was superb with all the children there. We saw age groups of all ages dining here. The food was tasty and their latte was made to perfection. Didn't have a chance to snap many pictures while balancing a child in my lap but give this place a try, they also have patio seating!!

Stunning decor with the cutest hand painted mural. It also looks like they will have a lovely patio. I had a breakfast sandwich (ordered to go) that was tasty, and I appreciated the generous portion of delicious eggs. However $10 for nothing but a breakfast sandwich is a bit too high... customers may not return because of this. In addition to what you'll find in their menu, I was happy to see they serve Chocorrant croissants, and Ace coffee. I love that they are open at 8am on weekdays. It's virtually impossible to grab a decent breakfast to go in the area, so this is a nice option. While the prices are definitely steep, I'm sure this place will do well. I am really in love with it, and look forward to seeing if they adjust the prices to be a bit more reasonable.

Really cool new place, this just opened on Wednesday. It's got a really awesome feel to it very light and airy. It's got awesome breakfast stuff in there like a coffee bar in the mornings... Really cool menu for breakfast as well check out the website. The guy who was formally at woodwork, and also at holy roller, James, is the head bartender here & the cocktails are fabulous. The happy hour prices are a little high but you're getting very high-end cocktails and mixed drinks. We tried chilli shrimp in the cauliflower soup, and they were both great... I can see myself being here a lot....awesome comfort food!

My friend liked her falafal but it definately wasn't the best she has had and was eyeing up my curry. Service was OK. Brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday, otherwise they open for lunch (closed Mondays). Epic Market is huge. This will be a very popular place for the Whyte Avenue crowd as there are so many options available depending on which floor you enter. We were on the second floor today for brunch but the first floor, which has a similar look and feel, has a Mexican menu. It opens for lunch at 11:30am. It's a unique concept for Edmonton. The server said that they've opened similar restaurants in larger cities like Toronto but Edmonton is their first venture into a "smaller market". The brunch menu was interesting with some unique features and some typical offerings. I had the Pork Bennie, for $18.00 in 2024. The prices are quite reasonable for the type and quantity of the food. My bennie was good. My only criticism is that a special house ketchup would have been a nice touch. The service was excellent and we had a nice view of Gateway Blvd out the window. The coffee includes endless refills which is good because the cups were not very large. I'm sure the vibe is much different for dinner than brunch, but based on our experience, I'll definitely return.

My wife and I both ordered the Chandru Special for $17.50. It's a crepe with bacon and eggs inside plus some cheese slices melted on top. There was a side of fresh fruit. The presentation was somewhat lacking as the cheese slices made it look like something you find at your children's birthday party. The dish definitely needed some sauce to help it down. At least the fruit was good. Our server was very skilled at tunnel vision as she didn't see us even when walking right by our table. Eventually we caught her and got a refill for our coffee. She was pleasent enough when she arrived but definitely didn't want to do refills. On a more positive note, my friend ordered an omelet which came with potatoes that looked like thick potato chips. They looked good and he liked them. If I return it will be because I am in the area and can't find a better place. In other words, three stars out of five.

We would go back in a heartbeat, just need to sleep off the food coma for a while. It's bright and airy in spite of the smallish space and the amount of booths and tables, oh and you can sit at the counter. The walls and ceiling are covered in memorabilia, concert banners and what not. The place was absolutely hopping at 12:45 PM, but we were sat in a booth right away. Waters dropped moments later, asked if we needed coffee, tea or whatever else you wanted to drink. Our server was fantastic, explaining and educating us as we were first timers. The food came out piping hot very quickly and our tea ordered after the food was dropped came in a large teapot and hot just like at home. The clubhouse, which I did not have, has house made ham and turkey according to our server. My corn beef had slices of corn beef that did not taste house made, but the sheer volume of meat I couldn't finish, the eggs were cooked perfectly. K's Mexicasa omelette was excellent with the Mexican meat the star. I know why the place is consistently full, it's that good. Definite redo when back in West Edmonton
