I came here with friends on a Friday night. The staff was friendly and quick to clear our empty glasses. We enjoyed the lively vibes and music, and the go-go dancers were fantastic. My friends mentioned that the music here was better than at many other places in Seattle. Parking was the usual street parking in Capitol Hill.

As a relatively new cross-dresser, this was my very first time venturing out into public, and I was incredibly nervous. Before going, I decided to email Wildrose to ask if cross-dressers were welcome, and they promptly and reassuringly responded, confirming that I would be absolutely accepted and made to feel comfortable. From the moment I stepped through the door, the atmosphere was simply enchanting; the energy was palpable, and everyone was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was also pleased to find that the drinks were reasonably priced, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I truly felt completely at ease and accepted, and I had an absolutely incredible time. The entire experience was nothing short of fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Wildrose to anyone, regardless of their background or identity. The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a memorable evening. They genuinely made my first outing a resounding success, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you to everyone at Wildrose for creating such a safe, inclusive, and unforgettable space. Hugs and kisses, Graces

My partner and I had a good time here. There was a $5 entrance fee, cash only. The place is small compared to LA/Weho bar/clubs. The line for getting drinks is pretty organized. They accept cash and/or card. Drinks were decently priced. For example, we got four Jell-O shots for approximately $25. There is also a small dance floor that can get packed, but we were able to still have fun and dance. There is a designated smoking/vape area. No issues with any of the people here. This is a great LGBTQIA+ location to check out. We were in walking distance to other bars and restaurants.

There is nothing wild about this place. But for cheap drinks and elder lesbians making out in the corner - the Wild Rose is the place to be!

The Rose is a classic queer bar. I love Seattle Spit, the spoken word show and open mic that happens every second Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

Dive bar and a fun place to hang out. Taco Tuesdays! Can't be $2 tacos and drink specials.

I love the Wildrose - a laid back, friendly sort of bar with affordable drink prices.

It's not as divey as it was then, but at 80 years old and Seattle's oldest gay bar, it's a treasure. Fun and friendly, not your cruisy stand-and-model variety. People actually talk to you, and the stellar staff knows you almost immediately. It's Cheers for the queer tribe.

But tonight I received the most aggressive and ridiculous interaction with their staff. I have lived on Capitol Hill for ten years, and have been going to The Crescent casually throughout that time with no terribly bad experiences. But tonight, when a glass was broken and I instinctively went to help clean up (I understand staff does not want customers to help with broken glass and I should have left it alone, but I instinctively moved one large piece and then stopped) I was yelled at quickly and aggressively by a member of the staff. I do not know this woman, she is not usually working when I go in, so I'm not sure if she was hired temporarily for Pride weekend or if she was a new hire. What I do know is that she did not care how she came across to me, or anyone else in the vicinity, and even came outside after I decided to leave and continued to yell at me as I left. I can't attest to this personally, but after she yelled at me in the bar, I was told by other patrons that she had been aggressive and strict about kicking people out for various reasons. I am a loyal patron here, but am disheartened by the behavior of this staff member who made things mean and aggressive in what could have been a benign moment. With many years in the service industry myself I know situations can get stressful and guests don't always do what you would like them to do, but it is quite literally your job to handle those situations. I know typically The Crescent is a very positive and kind place, and hope someone who exhibits this kind of behavior will not continue to represent them.
