Wildflowers was an amazing experience! Definitely fine dining at its best! My boyfriend and I had a reservation for New Year's Eve Eve (30th) and we were seated right away. We were placed in the back room with a large table and within 20 minutes the waitress asked if we would like to move tables to the front room because they were a bit loud and she accommodated my request for a round table. Wonderful appetizer of scallops with the best 12 year aged cheddar cream sauce I've ever had. Hen mushrooms and some relish. Then (not pictured) was the dungeonness crab corn chowder which they politely split into two bowls for us. Entrees I had the filet with adobo shrimp and they did it rare +. Bf had the aged ribeye with cippolini and we shared the pomme purée. Split a bottle of rouge medoc. Everything was wonderfully cooked. It was a steep bill but to be expected. They offer you as well amuse bouche to start and a wonderful lemon bar to go. Great great time! read more

Wow! What a find in upstate NY :) I headed to turning stone for the Labor Day weekend and we wanted to have a nice dinner. My boyfriend sang praises about Wildflowers and I can see why! The restaurant is tucked in the Lodge, a cozy getaway away from the casino side. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and faces a beautiful scenery outside where you may happen upon a wedding party The service is top notch, from the hostess to the server. we started with a Amuse-bouche, a berry that burst in the mouth!! What a pleasant surprise The drinks were great, I opted for a spicier cocktail with Tobasco (yep!) and my partner liked his sour. They brought some bread for the table - beware, don't get greedy like I did!! The bread is so delicious and warm and the butter melts within seconds upon contact. I highly recommend you try all three but maybe share because you will be full!!! We then got the bread and cheese platter which was actually pretty filling. The three cheese options were all a hit. We then got our favorite dish - the carrot salad. The miso flavored paste at the bottom was absolutely delicious. There was the right amount of crunch in the salad as well. Finally our entree came - veal saltimbocca and braised short rib We were a little full from our amazing bread and cheese board but we truly enjoyed these entrees. The meat was moist and cooked to Perfection, the sauces accompanying them were super flavorful We were too full for dessert but they bought out an array of chocolates including one that had a pop rock like crunch on the inside!! It was not easy to find the restaurant but it was definitely worth getting lost several times' in the Casino before we made our way to Wildflowers which is in a separate building. Once inside though we were greeted warmly & shown to a nice table with a window view. This was on 10/4/25 - at the tail end of a 2-week RV vacation. The service was impeccable yet unobtrusive. Our waiter made some great suggestions including the wine we had. The food was phenomenal. Pricey? A bit but when you consider the quality of the food, service & ambiance, well worth it! read more

I suppose I should start with the fact that I rate by how the food tastes and my overall experience, not by value. The amuse bouche was a deconstructed cherry pie with a spherical cherry (using sodium alginate a la El Bulli's spherical olive) as the centerpiece which was both clever and delicious. The duck breast was the best I can remember. The cheesecake was excellent. The service was delightful. There wasn't an excessive wait between courses but didn't feel rushed as befits a restaurant with this price point.The portions are small (would definitely get 3 courses, more if you are used to large portions) and prices are quite high for the area. Free valet parking. Went on a Saturday night and had a great view of an extravagant wedding. The grounds are lovely. The service and the food were both phenomenal! I was slightly hesitant since the restaurant is in an outbuilding from the main casino, but this worked to its advantage. While other restaurants are close to the gaming floor, Wildflowers was nice and quiet with some light music and a warm atmosphere, Chef Kolo made stunning dishes. My only suggestion pertains to the seating, the booth I was sat in had a deep cushion that did not offer a lot of support and was mildly uncomfortable, although I am happy that I was seated there so I had ample space for my service dog. So we went here for dinner and breakfast. For dinner: Amazing food, ambiance, and service. We loved the scallop. My partner got the rib eye and lobster tail. I got the filet. Both cooked perfectly. Mine came with a blue cheese stuffed pillow, unreal. I would've loved if the beet salad came with more beets. For dessert I got the lemon cheesecake, and my partner got French coffee. I feel like the French coffee would've been better iced. For breakfast, I think it was a bit overdone. I would've been happy with just a croissant and the sausage. An amazing experience overall. Service was over the top and in today's world where service many times is not a priority, I must say that it really stood out! Food was amazing as well with some very unique and cool special touches. A big shout out to the Todd - the GM who spent quite a bit of time with us talking to us at the bar and a bit at the table. He really is attentive to fine detail and it shows with the team that he leads. Also our bartender (Angelina) was fantastic. She shared that she was new to that bar coming up from the casino. She too was amazing. Solid mixologist by most importantly great engaging personality. We will be sure to be back...awesome dinner. My wife and I have dined at Wildflowers many times over the years and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately even the best restaurants have the occasional hiccups. This Friday we experienced one such hiccup. Fortunately the General Manager, Todd, was on top of the situation and handle everything in a very professional manner. If you judge a restaurant on how they handle a mistake they and Todd turned what could have been a very bad night into a good experience. They did such a good job we changed our reservation for the next night and had an outstanding dinner on Saturday also. Great job Todd. P.S. the French toast for breakfast is a must have. read more

I want to be fair to Wildflowers but given their price point am really disappointed in our dinner. There was a bad storm in the area so perhaps that affected the meal. When a restaurant charges $50-$80 for an entree it needs to be close to perfect. The prices are expensive for any major city. We live in northern CA and travel worldwide. These are Paris prices. My Dover Sole was stone cold and had no flavor. It was not cooked to order is my guess. Unacceptable. We had to ask for water, there is little table service to take away dirty glasses, dirty plates etc. The cheese plate was decent. The accompanying honey, pickled strawberries were delicious. The crab soup probably sat under a warmer and was congealed on top when we got it. Surprised they didn't see that. The restaurant is comfortable but we could hear the loud noises from the kitchen. The service is good but everyone was waiting for something.Maybe they had an off night. We won't be coming back. read more

The menu changes each season so you never get bored. Amazing atmosphere, but just ok food. I have been here a few times now with my family and every time we absolutely love the atmosphere. The place is quite elegant and the service is extremely formal. Being apart of the casino, I am unsure if there is a dress code, but I always feel obligated to wear something business casual. The last time I was here was New Years Eve. Five of us wanted a nice dinner out to celebrate. There was some confusion around the reservations but it was quickly sorted out. Despite being the first people at the restaurant, being seated at 4:30, service was unbearably slow. In total, we were there for 3 hours! I don't know if they were just short staffed or what, but there wasn't more than 5 parties in the restaurant while we were dining, so they weren't swamped by any means. We did order a few courses of food: appetizers, entrees and dessert, but it took almost an hour just to get our drinks! The food varied in terms of how good it was. For being such an expensive place, I anticipated everything to be spot on, but it wasn't. Some items were great! Some were meh. But nothing was spectacular. Including the drinks. In terms of service, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Times are tough to find people willing to work. Everyone we did interact with was super pleasant. Overall, for the cost, the food was just pretty good. I would come back on rare occasions but it's not a must in my book. read more

There will never be a better Omelette. She broccoli, garlic, sautéed onions, bacon, ham...but the best was the Gruyère cheese. It wasn't just inside...she grilled it outside. It was cooked perfectly. It tasted delicious. It was ample in size. I just finished it. I already crave it again. In addition, Todd, my server was spot on. Attentive without being obstructive. My water glass was never below the halfway point. He asked before he topped off my coffee. Outstanding service! When so many places seem to phone it in right now, Wildflowers really cares. With plenty of natural light, and beautiful views of the adjacent golf course, Wildflowers is a great spot for an upscale breakfast or lunch. We came here for the latter. I recently attended a four-day conference at the Turning Stone, and was fortunate enough to stay in "The Lodge," Turning Stone's all-suites luxury property. It's connected to the rest of the hotel and casino via indoor bridge, and Wildflowers is the flagship restaurant at The Lodge. Wildflowers offers a "traditional continental" menu, with rotating, seasonal selections, and a few items that stay put throughout the year. My colleague and I split a plate of edamame and had a half each of the Asian chicken flatbread and carved turkey club sandwiches. While the edamame was your typical steamed and salted kind, the sandwiches really stood out. The turkey club was made with roast turkey meat, not cold cuts, and topped with crisp bacon, cranberry-infused bleu cheese and a delicious garlic aioli, while the Asian chicken flatbread was topped with a spicy slaw, seasoned hummus, and a chili-lime vinaigrette. Both sandwiches were neatly but generously filled, and extremely saucy, but not overpoweringly so. I think pricing is the only thing keeping this place from five stars... although our sandwiches were fairly priced between $12 and $14, some of the $30-$40 entree plates we saw coming out were pretty small for the price. Service was fine, although there weren't too many people here on the Thursday afternoon that we came here. This place seems to have mixed reviews, mostly stemming from the dinner and seafood selections. While this may be an upscale continental restaurant, I don't see any oceans nearby, so I might be a bit more hesitant to order the tuna/lobster/trout/etc. here. read more

Two of my best friends from college and I got together for dinner, drinks, and some gambling yesterday. None of us had been to wildflowers yet, so I thought this would be the perfect place to enjoy a meal. That meal was quite possibly the best meal I have ever had, and I'm a true foodie from San Diego who has eating at some of the best restaurants around the country. The meal was perfectly on point, everything cooked to perfection. We had the pork belly to start and my friend had the corn and crab chowder. They provided us an amazing parsnip brûlée as an amuse bouche. For entrees my one friend had short rib, and two of us had the 9 oz filet with asparagus and shared a side of mushrooms. Unfortunately they had sold through their lamb chop dish, which was a planned dish to order. Despite the lack of lamb, none of us were disappointed. The steaks were cooked perfectly, we both also had the Bernard's sauce which was absolutely delicious. My friend loved her rib dish. I also ordered the cheese ice cream special to go home and enjoy. Beyond the smoky halls of the casino, past the buffets, and away from the disorienting din of the slot machines, lies a true culinary jewel. I have had the good fortune of eating at Wildflowers several times this year. The experience begins when you are greeted by the waitstaff and shown to your table where a personalized menu awaits. The menu is diverse and modern. During my visits, I have had the pleasure of ordering such dishes as lamb chops (twice), the filet, duck, and sea bass. All were immaculately prepared and presented. However, my favorite dish prepared by Wildflowers can be found on the starters menu - the seared scallop. This has easily become one of my very favorite dishes anywhere. Served in a half-shell with a lemon confit, coriander pesto, ham nage, and juniper spice, this scallop is absolutely perfect on every possible level. Specialty cocktails are available and change with the seasons. The wine list is extensive and the waitstaff is incredibly knowledgeable in their assistance with pairing. It should go without saying that this is a very expensive place to dine, though it is worth every penny. If you have the good fortune to be pampered for an evening, this should be the place. read more

Used to be my favorite restaurant in Upstate NY....that was until last nights let down. My wife and I brought friends that have never been to join us on our anniversary dinner and candidly was embarrassed as I talk this restaurant up as my favorite restaurant and was filled with nothing but a $400 disappointment. We had 830 reservations and showed up 20 minutes early our table was ready so they sat us early which was the only highlight of the evening. I ordered the octopus for an appetizer to say it was chewy and slimy is an understatement. This was disgusting and in edible, the waitress asked if she could take it and I said no I was going to try the black rice and diced ham which was over salted and not good. We at with our apps for about 25 minutes and as we were waiting our table wa visited by fruit flies and we're landing on our food and very visible . I informed the waitress and her response was oh god and took the plate. Nothing else was said or done to make things right. Out came the mains about 25 minutes later, I ordered the Dover Sole a la Meuniere it was ok, came out Luke warm and just was not very flavorful and disappointing which I also did not finish. The other guest were satisfied with the meals but weren't overly impressed with the food and service which I will add took almost 2 1/2 hours with no one else in the back room besides our table. It will be a long time before I visit this place again which is sad. I hope this is an isolated incident and the get their stuff together. 3 stars because 2 would not be fair based on previous visits which in were 5 stars. Good luck read more

Spent one night at the lodge for a birthday celebration and when we woke up the next morning we went to Wildflower for breakfast. The breakfast here was delicious, the coffee was delicious​, the morning cocktails were delicious​! It was all great. We all really loved the food and the atmosphere and judging from the breakfast quality alone we can't wait to try out dinner there one night. As a regular at Wildflowers over time, I rate as follows: "A+" for Decor: it's vista is" lovely & intimate (weather permitting, sit outside) Food: "A" for presentation; taste: B- (for brunch/ lunch) dinner menu changes often and some find the pairings/ offerings unique & unexpected; which, according to palate, may or may not be to your liking; portions: "C-/D" . Service at Brunch is ok, however for dinner: "C-/D" generally slow, but they try to compensate by bringing "tastings. For Beakfast/ Brunch: I would order the Healthy Omelet ( it is the best veggie omelet ever; cooked to perfection & very filling-- comes with toast/ english; nice presentation/ table ware for tea or coffee: cappuccino comes with a rock candy swizzle stick, and fruit salad w/ toasted coconut comes is a lovely stemmed compote- Villeroy & Boch. " Conclusion: Wildflowers is as upscale as it gets for Central NY, but , is just average to people who are accustomed to fine dining. The Sunday brunch is casual, however be prepared to hear other conversation within earshot-- not sure if that's a good thing...Overall, you'll be pleased; however, it's may read a bit pricey, to some, but it's really standard for it's offering in more cosmopolitan places. It seems like this place has potential, but the food just comes up short. Staying at The Lodge for a few days, I came here for dinner one night and breakfast the following morning. Service was very nice and accommodating, but also very slow. I think dinner took almost three hours, and we weren't taking our time or putting in extra orders. It also took a good 15 minutes to get coffee at breakfast, after we had put in our food orders. Generally at breakfast time coffee is offered before you even order your meal, so this was a surprise. For dinner, I ordered the lobster bisque and the filet. The bisque was fine, but had just two little pieces of lobster in it. Why so little?? The broth was good, but it really just tasted like I was eating tomato soup - the lobster was gone after two bites. My steak was ordered medium rare, and came out medium. Most of our party ordered the filet, and all appeared to be over done. The filet came with "caramelized radicchio" - described as not having the typical bitter taste you would expect from radicchio...but in fact it was, very bitter, and left uneaten by everyone who ordered the dish. At the end of the night the manager gave us parting gifts of lemon pound cake. A nice touch, but I would have preferred a better meal... For breakfast, I ordered an omelet with vegetables, ham and cheese. When it arrived the omelet had no vegetables. When I asked, the server quickly apologized and took it back. When my new omelet came out, the "grilled vegetables" listed on the menu as an omelet filling, turned out to be just onions and tomatoes. That's it? Plus, this new omelet was so oily it was almost inedible. My original omelet did not look this way. It had so much oil that when I cut into the omelet beads of oil came out from the inside - so I couldn't even eat around it. My group was in a hurry and I had already sent the omelet back once so I didn't say anything... but it was another disappointing meal. The restaurant did take the omelet off the bill for the initial error, which was also a nice gesture. Very nice service, I just wish the food was on the same level. read more

I mostly come for their brunch because they do it very well. The service is very friendly and the food is the best. I really like their fresh squeezed orange juice and their fruit bowls. I get steak and eggs wherever I go and theirs is a total winner. Wildflowers is located in the Lodge at Turning Stone so it's pretty quiet in there and clean compared to the rest of the casino restaurants. No smoking there thank goodness. Also, they do have outdoor seating for those of us who hate air conditioning and you get to look over their beautiful flowers and their gorgeously manicured gardens. I take many of my girlfriends there and they also rave about the eggs Benedict even though I haven't had it. read more

The person I was with has several food allergies and the server and chef communicated back and forth with her until all requirements were met. Do NOT waste your time with this place! We were there this morning for brunch. The hostess was completely incompetent. She was unable to set a table and seat a party without taking 30 (YES 30 minutes) to complete the one task. Ourselves and one other family just stood there, looking at a completely empty restaurant the whole time. When I waked in and found a manager to advise of the excessive wait time, he said someone would be right out, only NO ONE ever came out. Except the aforementioned incompetent hostess who said she would need more time to seat a third party that was waiting even longer than us! She obviously was not able to accomplish more than one task at a time, and even that gave her great difficultly. The friendly front desk staff was kind enough to suggest the Club House. THEY were excellent and the service was exceptional! Perhaps the Wildflowers staff could learn a few pointers. We won't be going back to this place ever! read more
