Pasta bolognese
Brian S.

Wonderful experience for our golf crew after 36 holes. Waitress was attentive and friendly to our group of 11. Table was setup out front per our reservation in full view of the casino, perfect. We started with delicious calamari and fried olives with crusty bread dipped in oil and balsamic, the empty plates spoke for themselves! Variety of dishes ordered included steaks, veal, chicken parm and several peeps ordered the bolognese which got rave reviews from all. Washed it down with a few bottles of Vino and several of us grabbed scrumptious desserts including blueberry cheesecake and gelato and of course some sweet Frangelico to finish. Great meal with a great crew, we'll see you again next year!

Pros: Friendly waiters Excellent ambience Delicious food Creative and tasty cocktails Chicken Riggies - 5/5 had it for the first time ever and loved the flavor profile. Lasagna - 4/5 a little under seasoned Eggplant parmesan - 5/5 Arancini - 5/5 House salad - 3/5. The dressing was very sour Complimentary bread - 4/5. Pera Fragola and butterfly Razberi lemonade - 5/5 Very good quantity Cons: Long wait time. We tried to reserve a table 24 hours prior to our dining time and still found very limited slots. It was like this both the days we were at the resort. We were told and read in other reviews that the they serve cheesecake for birthdays and anniversaries, however, we didn't get any. So, a little disappointed. The chicken in chicken marsala tasted stale. Wasn't very fresh but the flavor profile was on point.

Service was good, we tried the chicken Francaise and the Marsala. Francaise was good chicken moist and tender. Marsala was ok. We will stick to our sauce dishes as we find them more appealing. Ambiance is always warm and Italian home feeling.

New menu item. Beef short rib with risotto.

I would have given 4 stars for the excellent short ribs....splendid dish...but 28$ for 2 small glasses of decidedly inferior house red has left rather a sour taste in my mouth..outrageous...

Chicken parmigiana- tender, the sauce is so tasty - a winner every time

Pino is our regular go to - at Turning Stone Resort - we visit because we love the staff - it's like a Sunday dinner with family! The food is always perfect, drinks unique and delicious and don't forget a wee bit of desert- even if you have to pack it to go!!

Calamari Fritti

My fiancée and I came here with low expectations and we were pleasantly surprised! We got a dining credit with our hotel and decided to try Pino Bianco out. Going in, I was enamored by the walls of wine glasses and the really cool upscale minimalist light fixtures they had above all the tables. We started off with a Margarita Italiana (which my fiancée loved) and their Raspberry Noir both of which were excellent. I'm always cautious when ordering a wine topped drink but they knocked it out of the park! Word of warning though, it's surprisingly pretty sweet. For appetizers, we got the calamari fritti and the shrimp cocktail. The apps were definitely the stars of the meal. I normally hate calamari and the cocktail sauce that normally comes with shrimp, but I loved both of these. The calamari wasn't fishy, it was crisp with a very light chew and paired so well with the fried cherry peppers, roasted tomatoes and aioli. The shrimp were huge (granted, for the price and the fact that you only get 4, they should be) and dipped in the cocktail sauce, which was perfectly balanced between ketchup, horseradish and tobasco, was heaven on Earth. For our main entrees we went with lobster ravioli and chicken parmesan. I don't normally care about presentation for food, but I will say the chicken parm plate needed something extra, it just looked like a lump of chicken. Taste wise it was standard, nothing particularly stood out, but it was by no means bad. Same thing applied to the ravioli itself, but the lobster that was in the ravioli was expertly cooked and very flavorful. We finished up with an affogato and the crème brûlée. The affogato was delicious, but you definitely have to wait a good minute for the gelato to melt into the coffee. The crème brûlée was absolutely fantastic, especially with the bits of fruit. It gave this sweet, creamy dessert a nice little fresh taste. This is for sure a great choice among the restaurants at Turning Stone.

Sea Bass with roasted potatoes and fennel salad.

Bread was delicious. Tomato di pomodoro salad was excellent. Sea Bass was moist, had lots of flavor, and sides were attractive and taste. The tiramisu was huge, yummy, and was accompanied by a scoop of coffee Gelato. Coffee was great, roasted in Utica just for Pino Bianco. Love it when local small businesses are tapped by restaurants. Great meal!

Burrata E Arancia

Had a solo dinner at the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a light meal of a salad and an appetizer. The broth from the clam dish was fantastic! I would definitely order again. The burrata salad was the perfect size and was more of an antipasto then a salad, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I can't wait to return to try other dishes.

Amazing - Chris our server was amazing, personable, appropriate, attentive but not overbearing just 110% great. The atmosphere is always perfect. The food is never disappointing, always consistent always amazing! We drive 2 hours just for dinner and it is worth every minute!

When I visit Turning Stone, I always visit Pino Bianco! Bread, food, and service are always great! They also have a great wine selection! Prior to moving to Upstate New York, I have never heard of chicken riggies. So I ordered them from here and they were amazing! The staff is always nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you want to get dressed up and go out for dinner! Very mature and romantic ambiance.

Filet mignon cooked to perfection with balsamic glaze and red potatoes.

Solid Italian restaurant located in Turning Stone casino. Some of the best shrimp cocktail you'll ever have; they are massive! Bread is complimentary and served with a signature garlic and chive butter (YUM)! We always ask for a side of regular butter as well! Dinner specials are usually seafood and pretty spectacular! Cocktails are potent and tasty. Chicken Marsala and filet mignon are two excellent dishes I've ordered. Pino Bianco accepts Turning Stone vouchers, so that's also a major plus!

Our server, Morgan, was great--very friendly and helpful. She recommended the special, and I'm glad she did because it was delicious. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meals too. We finished with the seasonal boozy shake and a couple of other desserts, which were all really good. The atmosphere was welcoming, everything was very clean, and the food came out faster than we expected. Overall, it was a really great experience, and we'll definitely be coming back!

My mom and I like to go here whenever we come up for an event and that's what we did after a day full of shopping at their annual craft show. The wait to sit down was 2 hours but we opted to wait and find seats at the bar. Took us about 15 min. Once we sat the bartenders were all great and very prompt, always checking on us. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings and honestly they were so good! Crispy a d the onion didn't slide right out when taking a bite. We were honestly almost full just from that. We also got a burger to split and they were great about it they even played it separately no extra charge. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium. The maple glaze and Gorgonzola cheese were put on the side just like we asked. We're typically not picking a burger to eat, but this one was delicious! The glaze and the tang of the blue cheese was a unique pairing. Even my mom loved it. Could not have asked for a better meal after walking around for hours.

Turning Stone has been shuffling around the entertainment lately, so Turquoise Tiger hasn't been…read morehosting the dueling pianos, but a jazz band instead. Regardless of the live music though, this place oozes pre-prohibition sophistication that'll bring you pretty close to the Babette's Supper Club (any Boardwalk Empire fans?) vibe. If you're looking for more energy and pumping music, head to the adjacent Tin Rooster or The Gig, but if you're looking to cozy up to some smooth tunes in an equally smooth setting, you'll be right at home here.

Those moments stay with you forever, and last night experiencing the Turquoise Tiger was such a moment for me. The decor in this place is epic - it's a 1940s Jazz club with turquoise carpets, turquoise drapes, turquoise everything else, accented by black and pearlized white booths and wall treatments. Turquoise has always been my favorite color, and this only solidified it further. The crystal chandeliers hanging from the 25 foot ceilings pull it all together and transport you into a lost age of cocktailing and music. We ordered two of their specialty cocktails, the Hunny Bourbon and the Tequila Honey. To say they were both expertly crafted is an understatement. Perfect balance of booze to non booze, fresh ingredients, and made expertly by Mikayla and Breanna the friendly mixologists. The Tequila Honey was a variant on a margarita but with honey syrup which was beautifully executed. The Hunny Bourbon was essentially a Bees Knees that subbed bourbon for gin, a fantastic effort by their mixology team. I feel they can easily offer more smash hits like this to further their unique and all star cocktail lineup! You HAVE to check out their restrooms - that's the most fun you'll have in a restroom, I guarantee! I had envisioned my trip to turquoise tiger for the better part of 14 months and thought about it daily before I finally made it there last night. My expectations were exceeded and I can't wait to get back there tonight. Turquoise Tiger for bar of the year....they have my vote..
