I have just recently become acquainted with "The Hill" as it's affectionately called by my friend (a local). We have now visited a couple times and have been pleased both times. The Marble Hill Inn has a weekly happy hour special for 2 for 1 drinks that goes until 7 each night (8 on Fridays). It doesn't seem that there is any restriction on the type of drinks. Prices are reasonable and the bartenders are all very cool and engaging with the customers. The bar always has hot popcorn available for patrons and is a nice way to get a bit of salt with your booze. Their chicken wings are excellent - crispy on the outside, not oversauced, and juicy inside. They are easily some of the best ones I've had in this area. Last time we stopped in we ordered dinner, and for 2 of us getting 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and a salad it was under $40 including tip - very nice. As expected, there are lots of TV's, darts, pool, and other bar entertainment if you want to work on your bar game skills. There is plenty of seating and they also have a banquet room for parties if you want to have an event there. I don't' own a motorcycle or snowmobile, but The Hill seems to cater to both, so check them out on your next ride. Crowd was welcoming & clearly a popular spot w the sports crowd. Casual w plenty of parking in a residential area. Wings & Salad were cooked to order & very good. The Hill went DOWN HILL!! The Marble Hill Inn use to be our own stomping ground. So five of us on a Friday evening took a ride down to the the hill, to have some good times. Got there about 6:45 pm. Well, I don't even know where to start- DRINKS: took forever with 4 bartenders behind the bar...YES FOUR and none that we knew! I literally stood there with a drink chip in my hand for 15 minutes- I was standing right next to the multiple beer tab- they had to of seen me. Once i got my blue moon- they were all out of oranges- (Friday night, and early and your out of oranges already?) This was a recurring act every time one of us went up to the bar- took a long time to get a drink with (again) FOUR bartenders. FOOD: 2 orders of chicken wings (20 wings) and a order of cheese sticks -$21.00-WTF???!! It took over a HOUR to get 3 orders of chicken wings and a order of cheese sticks- Here's the kicker: when our food came out- the girl who was carrying our wings dropped them on the floor- along with the cheese stick on the dirty bar table. I did feel bad for her. She gave us money back for only the one set of wings she dropped- but she just picked up the cheese sticks and acted like they didn't get dropped. THE WINGS: SMALL-Wings, the smallest i have ever had. COLD, maybe there were sitting back in the kitchen for a while before coming out to us. Taste- ok. So, I did really like this place until this Wednesday. Place has great wings at a great deal, bit I ordered wings at 8:00pm. 915pm hits and I ask where they are. I'm told they are behind. 9:45 hits and no wings. The bartender then tells me the ticket was written down but never given to the cook and it would be another 40 minutes for wings. Not acceptable. I came here for wings specifically and left without a single person apologizing to me for the mix up. Makes me never want to go back. read more

Get a new bouncer. We were in town visiting and decided to spend our night here with family for drinks and wings. We spent over three hours here and between all of us probably spent about $300. We decided to play pool and after putting a few bucks in, the que ball never came out, so we proceeded to ask the bartender for assistance. She then came over with the bouncer and he began to get aggressive after my husband was joking around with him. Total meat head looking for a fight, especially for someone who brags he is a sheriff. Correction: The hill does take credit cards and is good for kids on wing night. (wednesdays) They are delicious.
