    Pete John's Binghamton Spiedie Sandwich
    Brooke N.

Man o' man this dinner was amazing. Service was fantastic ( I wish I remember the waiters name) and the food was beyond delicious. I ordered the Pete John's Binghamton Spiedie Sandwich and it was amazing. I had a side of onion rings. The surroundings was fun with lots of televisions showing the MNF game. This may have to be my "go to" when staying at turning stone for the evening.

This is my favorite food at Turning Stone Casino, I haven't yet eaten at all 26 of the restaurants, but I've been to a number of them and the Upstate Tavern stands out both for the delicious, homestyle food and the laid-back convenient location. I've loved all of the dishes that I've had here but stand outs include the Poutine, Mac and Cheese bites, and corn chowder appetizers and the signature burger, Philly cheesesteak, and meatloaf. There is a bar at the entrance overlooking the Casino entrance with a great beer list and terrific drinks and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There tends to be a wait on weekends during the lunch and dinner hours so it helps to get there a little early and they also have a late night menu. The food is delicious, classic American with a few regional options like Chicken Riggies and Killer Fry Bread with Spinach dip which are also fantastic!

There are not a lot of options for lunch at the Turning Stone and I'm not a huge fan of the buffet. This is a good alternative. Had the beef on weck which was quite satisfying albeit pricey. I liked the homemade kimmelweck roll which was fresh and not too salty. The accompanying au jus was excellent.

Truffle fries & a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken

Yum! Fries were amazing & salad was so fresh. I can't believe the salad was a small. This is my perfect "I don't feel like eating but I don't want to be hungry later" dinner! I'd definitely go back. Service was on point & ambiance was nice. I was here on a work trip & eating solo :)

5.29.2024 @7pm Was grab into this VIP invitation dinner. It comes with a set menu. The set menu looks interesting as posted a picture here. The Lobster Roll and the Steak was really good.

    Chicken Riggies!

Andy the bartender was great. Food and service was excellent! Would def suggest coming here!

We visited the bar during happy hours and tried a couple of local distillery's gin and vodka. They were pretty good and thanks to the happy hour, quite inexpensive. They also have a decent appetizer menu with happy hour prices. We tried the truffle fries too and they were alright. I would give it 3/5. The upside down bourbon pecan cake was exquisite. It definitely needs to be shared as it is too sweet to finish it alone. Also, the happy hour does not apply when you sit for dining. It's only at the bar and that was disappointing, though you can order food at the bar. Lastly, the waiters and bartenders were friendly, the ambience just like any other pub. The place is clean and well maintained. Plus, they have a open kitchen like the one in cheesecake factory.

Tavern Everything Melt with Fries. Chicken tenders dipped in everything sauce. With cheese and bacon on toasted bread.

The Upstate Tavern at Turning Stone Resort has something for everyone. I eat here every time I visit. The Tavern everything melt is probably my favorite sandwich on the menu. Recently brought my son and nephew for the first time. My nephew is a notorious eater. He commented that not many restaurant sandwiches can fill him up but the Everything Melt did just that. The staff are always friendly and service is quick. Price is a little high but you are in a casino. The layout of the restaurant is very relaxed. TV's playing sports but not as many as a typical sports bar so you aren't overwhelmed with noise. This place is always reliable. I definitely recommend a visit.

After a Primavera Margarita and a Strawberry Basil Moscow Mule - both delicious - we moved on to a familiar bellwether, the French Onion Gratinée. Perfectly constructed and delightfully flavorful, we were off to an auspicious start. Our entrees were splendid! His salmon had a perfectly finished crisp and my lobster & shrimp pappardelle had a delectable sauce with copious seafood. Topping off the flavorful feast was peanut butter pie which was light and lovely. We were seated at the same table as last night (still cozy) and well-attended by Kari who knew who we were and chatted companionably with us. Dennis once again stopped by (despite serving a different section) to check in. Our experience with everyone from the front desk to the dining room to the manager was nothing shy of awesome! We look forward to returning and will make a point to do so!

We were placed in the back room with a large table and within 20 minutes the waitress asked if we would like to move tables to the front room because they were a bit loud and she accommodated my request for a round table. Wonderful appetizer of scallops with the best 12 year aged cheddar cream sauce I've ever had. Hen mushrooms and some relish. Then (not pictured) was the dungeonness crab corn chowder which they politely split into two bowls for us. Entrees I had the filet with adobo shrimp and they did it rare +. Bf had the aged ribeye with cippolini and we shared the pomme purée. Split a bottle of rouge medoc. Everything was wonderfully cooked. It was a steep bill but to be expected. They offer you as well amuse bouche to start and a wonderful lemon bar to go. Great great time!
