Onion ring appetizer and burger with maple and blue cheese split
    Bri H.

Easiest place to go in the turning stone. It's a little pricey but it's worth it in my opinion. Also note that if you are going during an event they have it will be busy and you will be waiting to sit. My mom and I like to go here whenever we come up for an event and that's what we did after a day full of shopping at their annual craft show. The wait to sit down was 2 hours but we opted to wait and find seats at the bar. Took us about 15 min. Once we sat the bartenders were all great and very prompt, always checking on us. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings and honestly they were so good! Crispy a d the onion didn't slide right out when taking a bite. We were honestly almost full just from that. We also got a burger to split and they were great about it they even played it separately no extra charge. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium. The maple glaze and Gorgonzola cheese were put on the side just like we asked. We're typically not picking a burger to eat, but this one was delicious! The glaze and the tang of the blue cheese was a unique pairing. Even my mom loved it. Could not have asked for a better meal after walking around for hours.

Had a really good late lunch at The Upstate Tavern after donating some money at the casino. We all truly enjoyed our food, it came out hot and you could see how fresh everything was. Dad had the Rochester chicken, mom had the meatloaf and the hubs and I had poutine (good brown gravy) and buffalo chicken flatbread! Our server so super nice and checked in frequently. Wish I had room for dessert because their boozy milkshakes looked fabulous, will def have to go back!

    Pete John's Binghamton Spiedie Sandwich

Man o' man this dinner was amazing. Service was fantastic ( I wish I remember the waiters name) and the food was beyond delicious. I ordered the Pete John's Binghamton Spiedie Sandwich and it was amazing. I had a side of onion rings. The surroundings was fun with lots of televisions showing the MNF game. This may have to be my "go to" when staying at turning stone for the evening.

This is my favorite food at Turning Stone Casino, I haven't yet eaten at all 26 of the restaurants, but I've been to a number of them and the Upstate Tavern stands out both for the delicious, homestyle food and the laid-back convenient location. I've loved all of the dishes that I've had here but stand outs include the Poutine, Mac and Cheese bites, and corn chowder appetizers and the signature burger, Philly cheesesteak, and meatloaf. There is a bar at the entrance overlooking the Casino entrance with a great beer list and terrific drinks and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There tends to be a wait on weekends during the lunch and dinner hours so it helps to get there a little early and they also have a late night menu. The food is delicious, classic American with a few regional options like Chicken Riggies and Killer Fry Bread with Spinach dip which are also fantastic!

    Beef on Weck

There are not a lot of options for lunch at the Turning Stone and I'm not a huge fan of the buffet. This is a good alternative. Had the beef on weck which was quite satisfying albeit pricey. I liked the homemade kimmelweck roll which was fresh and not too salty. The accompanying au jus was excellent.

Truffle fries & a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken

Yum! Fries were amazing & salad was so fresh. I can't believe the salad was a small. This is my perfect "I don't feel like eating but I don't want to be hungry later" dinner! I'd definitely go back. Service was on point & ambiance was nice. I was here on a work trip & eating solo :)

Upside-down warm bourbon pecan financier cake

We visited the bar during happy hours and tried a couple of local distillery's gin and vodka. They were pretty good and thanks to the happy hour, quite inexpensive. They also have a decent appetizer menu with happy hour prices. We tried the truffle fries too and they were alright. I would give it 3/5. The upside down bourbon pecan cake was exquisite. It definitely needs to be shared as it is too sweet to finish it alone. Also, the happy hour does not apply when you sit for dining. It's only at the bar and that was disappointing, though you can order food at the bar. Lastly, the waiters and bartenders were friendly, the ambience just like any other pub. The place is clean and well maintained. Plus, they have a open kitchen like the one in cheesecake factory.

    Chicken Riggies!

Andy the bartender was great. Food and service was excellent! Would def suggest coming here!

Tavern Everything Melt with Fries. Chicken tenders dipped in everything sauce. With cheese and bacon on toasted bread.

The Upstate Tavern at Turning Stone Resort has something for everyone. I eat here every time I visit. The Tavern everything melt is probably my favorite sandwich on the menu. Recently brought my son and nephew for the first time. My nephew is a notorious eater. He commented that not many restaurant sandwiches can fill him up but the Everything Melt did just that. The staff are always friendly and service is quick. Price is a little high but you are in a casino. The layout of the restaurant is very relaxed. TV's playing sports but not as many as a typical sports bar so you aren't overwhelmed with noise. This place is always reliable. I definitely recommend a visit.

Regardless of the live music though, this place oozes pre-prohibition sophistication that'll bring you pretty close to the Babette's Supper Club (any Boardwalk Empire fans?) vibe. If you're looking for more energy and pumping music, head to the adjacent Tin Rooster or The Gig, but if you're looking to cozy up to some smooth tunes in an equally smooth setting, you'll be right at home here.

Those moments stay with you forever, and last night experiencing the Turquoise Tiger was such a moment for me. The decor in this place is epic - it's a 1940s Jazz club with turquoise carpets, turquoise drapes, turquoise everything else, accented by black and pearlized white booths and wall treatments. Turquoise has always been my favorite color, and this only solidified it further. The crystal chandeliers hanging from the 25 foot ceilings pull it all together and transport you into a lost age of cocktailing and music. We ordered two of their specialty cocktails, the Hunny Bourbon and the Tequila Honey. To say they were both expertly crafted is an understatement. Perfect balance of booze to non booze, fresh ingredients, and made expertly by Mikayla and Breanna the friendly mixologists. The Tequila Honey was a variant on a margarita but with honey syrup which was beautifully executed. The Hunny Bourbon was essentially a Bees Knees that subbed bourbon for gin, a fantastic effort by their mixology team. I feel they can easily offer more smash hits like this to further their unique and all star cocktail lineup! You HAVE to check out their restrooms - that's the most fun you'll have in a restroom, I guarantee! I had envisioned my trip to turquoise tiger for the better part of 14 months and thought about it daily before I finally made it there last night. My expectations were exceeded and I can't wait to get back there tonight. Turquoise Tiger for bar of the year....they have my vote..

A true embarrassment to himself and his businesses. My family and I were there to celebrate a birthday. Some of us were in line to order food while the others sat at a patio table. We were approached by a waitress who told us we had to leave because we had a kid under 18 with us. We were bummed and she said the owner was there and she would talk to him about it to see if he would allow an exception. We've been there before on the patio with kids since the signs for 18 and over were only on the doors beyond the patio. She came back a short time later and said no we had to leave. While we were walking back to the table to leave, the owner made a snarky comment to us about never coming back and leaving a negative review. We approached him because what business owner does that? He proceeded to raise his voice at us and have a meltdown when we were being level headed and asking about the policy and asking him to check on the multiple other tables that had kids under 18 sitting at them. He stated that he couldn't have anyone under 18 in the building because of his license. There is no such license in New York State so that was a complete lie. He then told us to just get the f*** out. It's totally fine if he wants to run his business with that policy (the only one in the area), but the manner he handled the situation was out of line and uncalled for. As per the owners request we will be leaving negative reviews and never going to a business associated with him ever again.
