I just can't get over how average the food is. Same with Ocean Blue. It all tastes the same. The veal meatballs were yummy and they definitely make crispy potatoes with the steak (fries are also crispy) but literally the worst cooked steak I ever had. In all fairness pasta does not excite me as it should a Utican but for the price you pay you want something outstanding. The tiramisu is yummy but the bombalones had weird hard parts on them so I recommend for the best experience- go to the bar or sit in the couches by the window and get a few drinks and a tiramisu. Skip the full dinner because you wake up feeling uncomfortable and never wanting to eat food again haha

We weren't disappointed. We sat at the bar this time - Outstanding bar and ambiance. We met a very excellent bar man who made us some outstanding cocktails. I had two most excellent gin martinis. We started with the mushrooms and fried egg. Outstanding like the first time. We had the wood fired filets for our main. We had a dessert this time. It was a flourless chocolate creation that was sumptuous. Once again, an outstanding meal. I really love this place.

I was the only returning patron, the others much enjoyed their first time here. Walking through the front door you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of food cooking over an open fire. Got a terrific table to look out the window and enjoyed a nice evening view. Took full advantage of every food meal course available. Started out with their evening appetizer of homemade bread with cinnamon butter. Each of us got our own dinner choice along with small plates to start. The two small plates were green lentil salad and ember roasted carrots. Both of them with their unique flavor and style. The green lentil salad featured heirlooms. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. Every bite was outstanding. One of us got ice cream for dessert which she said was very good. The ice cream was made right there at the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with a rum cocktail and a tequila cocktail. All spirits locally sourced. If you haven't tried it here yet you should. You will not be disappointed.

So, made a reservation for nine and we all came here for dinner. After a very quick drive from the hotel we found easy parking (in the attached lot) and made our way inside. Nice size restaurant in two rooms. An incredibly nice staff and you could see all the customers truly enjoying themselves. We were directed to the side room where our table was all set up for us. There was a lot of food coming to the table and I am just going to focus on the dishes we (my wife and I) had. We started off with a Mozz and tomato salad to share. All perfect. Plenty of slices of cool crisp tomatoes and thick slices of cheese with a balsamic glaze. This was really good. The other end of the table had calamari which I tasted and really enjoyed. Main meals were Chicken Riggi (never had that dish by that nake before), It was really good and I thought the sauce was rich and tasty. Nice pieces of tasty chicken. My wife had the Gnocchi with shrimp in a pesto sauce. Also well made with a tasty sause. My friend had the Paella which he really enjoyed. Plenty of tasty seafood. An extremely professional staff who are all friendly and capable. The portions are generous and you will be provided with containers to pack up leftovers. Unfortuenately not practical going back to a hotel. All in all a very pleasant and tasty experience. KUDOs to the team at Ancora.

Strange but would be better without that and instead provolone cappicola banana or cherry peppers and a stone ground mustard. Fries are good both plain and Cajun and came out very hot!! Service is fantastic and atmosphere is relaxing. Will be back there are more items we want to try

Essentially it was kind of a build your own sandwhich with a whole steak, a long piece of tasty bread and a bunch of fried onions. For me this was fantastic! But if you're looking for an actual sandwich, this is probably not it. I got the cajun fries as my side, and they were good and spicy so if you like a kick, definitely go with the cajun fries. The staff was really nice and attentive but not overbearing. There is also plenty of free parking in their lot.
