The food has been wonderful ... but the acoustics is the restaurant are terrible. And the background music is way too loud. The noise level keeps us away. I'm 74 and hard of hearing ... and still can't beat it. read more

The food here is outstanding but I also have to say that I love the way I feel when I eat here. The ambiance, the beautiful architecture, lighting, etc all play a big role, for me at least! Starting with the grilled artichoke is a *MUST* and while my favorite dish is the Grilled Shrimp and Avocado Bowl, I had to splurge and try the Short Rib Ravioli. When I tell you I woke up the next day and day dreamed about it!! :) I ate so much that night and never felt sick to my stomach like many other restaurants do to me. What Wildflower accomplishes is a beautiful thing! *Ambiance *Friendly & Knowledgable Staff *Quality Ingredients *Delicious Flavor Profiles read more

Still as good as ever. Service staff made sure we were comfortable. The manager even accommodated our small dog. Very much appreciated. Although they haven't changed the menu since our last visit (2 years ago), the food is still well prepared. We had the cheeseburger, fish & chips, short rib ravioli, and chocolate mousse bars (bars of sin). read more

It is always the best time coming here! I had Nathan as my server the first time and request him every time, he's fantastic. The food is always amazing and never disappoints. We love to sit outside on the patio with all the greenery. Definitely will be back again! read more

After a busy day, I decided to try Wildflower restaurant for the first time. It was a beautiful afternoon, so I requested an outdoor table on their covered patio. The Spinach Salad was served first. Fresh and tasty, with a perfectly balanced blend of ingredients. Next up was the Pan Roasted Chicken with Green Beans and "Smashed" Potatoes. Excellent. Dessert was a special treat. The aptly named, "Bars of Sin" was a decadent pleasure. I loved the Vanilla Ice Cream (or was it gelato?) and the fabulous Chocolate Mousse Cookies. Excellent meal. Wonderful service. I'll be back! read more

Came for restaurant week while visiting Tucson and think we made the right choice. My favorite was the cauliflower cheddar soup, it was so delicious I scraped the bottom of the bowl with my bread. Braised beef dish was my main. Very nicely prepared though a little under-seasoned. Mom had beautiful salad for first course and the ravioli for second, also very tasty. Prepared in both a green and red sauce with just the right balance of flavors. We sat outside on the gorgeous patio, ambiance was lovely. Very enjoyable dinner! read more

Normally, Where I live most restaurants I go to are located in a small downtown as I try to support the small downtown business, as we don't have many restaurants in my area that are located in a strip mall. But as it turns out in Tucson, Arizona that most restaurants located in these areas are in a strip mall or a single standing building. We happen to be driving by looking for a place to eat. Using Yelp, we located this restaurant. To be clear the atmosphere of this restaurant was simply amazing. Even in a strip mall the improvements that were done in here were simply stunning. Now for the food etc.: It starts from the top.... great receptionist, great waiters and waitresses, and the energy that surrounds this place is simply amazing. The food was fantastic the service was fantastic and the ambience was incredible. read more

Wildflower is the standout restaurant in Casas Adobes on the north end of town. Opened in 1998 by James Beard nominated restauranteur Sam Fox, CEO of Fox Restaurant Concepts, Wildflower exists within a corporate portfolio of some of the Southwest's most successful restaurants, like Blanco, Culinary Dropout, Olive and Ivy, the Arrogant Butcher, etc. in 2019, FRC was acquired by The Cheesecake Factory for $300m. But, there is nothing corporate or "chain" about Wildflower itself. As the atmosphere remains unique, classy, comfortable and stylish. And Sam Fox is still the leader of his portfolio of over 45 restaurants nationwide. And it's also clear that some of the the benefits of big corporate oversight, like operational efficiency, service training, supply chain quality, standards management etc, are all very present at Wildflower as well. In particular, the service team at Wildflower is probably the best in town. Anyway, the modern American menu at Wildflower includes both signature dishes and seasonal rotations. With a full bar, classy house cocktails, a wonderful wine list, and a good selection of local beers. Happy hour is lively from 3-6 everyday. This time around, I ordered the Hamachi Crudo with Cider Ponzu ($18). It won't fill you up. But the fish is light and fresh. And the cider ponzu is absolutely delicious. If they sold it by the bottle I would buy a case. I actually asked for a spoon so that I could finish what was left at the bottom of the dish. The Spinach Salad ($10) with Grilled Steelhead Salmon (+$9). The salad itself is not particularly memorable, as it's basically a big pile of fresh spinach leaves with a few bits of bacon and blue cheese. BUT, the grilled salmon was absolutely perfect. High-heat crispy sear, wonderfully seasoned, moist and tender in the middle. In the future I would just order the Salmon as a meal. Yummm. The Short-rib Ravioli with Truffle Cream ($19) is also worth the trip if you like creamy, beefy pasta dishes. It's phenomenal. So, if you are ever on the North side of town, check out Wildflower. It's pricey, but the prices reflect the quality of the the food, service and atmosphere. read more

It was Super Bowl Sunday & we were celebrating an early Valentine's date. We made a reservation and was seated right away. I didn't understand the need for three hostesses though, but they were all friendly. Our server was attentive. The food & cocktails were really good, but my favorite was dessert!! It was also a bonus that my husband could watch the game thanks to the tv by the bar. read more

10/10!!! Will absolutely be back! They have a full service bar and lots of wine choices- the food was a perfect portion and well worth the price - our waiter was friendly and helpful- we would have stayed for the incredible dessert but we will go back later for them as they sounded a bit big. This place will be added to the list of places to take our friends and family in the future!!!! read more

We (5 of us) came here on the recommendation of a friend and we all had a wonderful dinner. We started things off with smoked salmon. Wonderfully delicious salmon on a bed of potato galette or something like a 'bird nest of hash browns.' It was great! I ordered mussels and also jumbo lump crab & avocado toast. The mussels were fresh and perfectly cooked in a slightly spicy sauce that was wonderful. The crab came on toast and all I can say is that it's a must try! So very very good! We shared a Bars of Sin to end the meal, and the only sinful thing about it was how quickly it was gone. Yummyness extraordinaire! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!' read more

I have eaten several times at this establishment, most recently tonight. I consider the menu choices for entrees to be too limited. The smoked salmon appetizer was good, as well as was the complementary bread. I ordered a Greek Caesar for a salad, which was only okay. The fish and chips for the entree was a bad choice, as it was overcooked and not even as good as what you would get at a fast food restaurant. The service was okay as well as the ambience. I would not recommend this restaurant as the overall experience was average at best. read more

We went there for the first time tonight and it was great! We started with the brussel sprouts which my husband and I loved!! They were sweet and the bacon added a nice saltiness. My husband ordered the NY steak and I ordered the braised beef short rib. Both were excellent and very filling. The short rib was so tender I didn't even need to use a knife and I loved how the risotto caught the flavorful juice from the meat. The NY was cooked medium rare as requested and the red wine sauce was very yummy. It's my birthday so we got the bars of sin to go. OH MY GOODNESS. Let me tell you, the mousse with the crispy cookie had me drooling and the vanilla gelato on the side was perfect with the rich dessert. In addition, I would like to thank our server, whose name escapes me but I'm pretty sure was Jordan. She answered all our questions and was so so nice. We will definitely be back soon. read more

Food was on point awesome salmon!! Service was lack luster. The server took forever to get our drinks then never came to check on us until our food arrived that's when we asked about our appetizers he said oh I forgot them. Dirty plates never cleaned from table until I asked for the bill. Mangers walking around showed no concern for anything. Restaurant was not busy at all at the time we were there. The only thing good about this place was the food. Will not be going back. read more

Not sure why we don't drive out here more often! This place does not disappoint my discriminating taste buds! Went on a 5k run this morning so I could justify having an "all out" lunch! That's right, "all out" lunches include cocktails, apps, main and wine. Wine is both to wash down main and dessert Chose the blooming Daisy and signature old fashioned for cocktails, Israeli Hummus and grilled artichoke for apps and short rib and smoked mozzarella raviolis for mains TO DIE for! So pleased with our lunch ! Our server was wonderfully attentive and knew exactly when to ask if we needed anything else! Glad it has not changed since being bought out. Cheers! read more

I love coming here for special occasions or on the weekend night. As a vegetarian, I order their Lebanese hummus. I really like their butternut squash salad with shaved brussels sprouts, roasted beets. Because I don't eat goat cheese, I do ask them to keep that off. their Mediterranean cauliflower is really delicious as an entrée. It comes with sweet, potato, tahini, marinated, chickpeas, and roasted mushrooms. I love sitting inside or outside. Both are wonderful. read more

I love the food here and the atmosphere. The patio was a little too cold to be sitting on the patio for us so we ate inside, service was great. I haven't been to a decent restaurant since we moved to Arizona. The curse was broken last Saturday when we came to Wildflower. we had the hummus appetizer and chicken potstickers to start. delicious. The short rib ravioli dish was delicious and the sides were so tasty. One of our friends had scallops and they looked delicious as well. The desserts were top notch. it's a nice restaurant but a little noisy. I wish I could remember our waiter's name as he deserves a huge shout out; He was super nice, patient and accommodating. overall so pleased and can't wait to come back next time we're in Tucson. read more

We were in Tucson for two days ant ate there both nights. Their menu is creative and of the six dishes we tried, all were delicious. The bar makes a great Manhattan and the service was outstanding. We will be back in the area next month and I'm wondering how many meals at Wildflower we can fit in. We ate on the patio and the upper terrace. It was hot out, but they have mist and fans so it was very pleasant, Inside seemed gloriously cool but too loud for us. Do not miss the homemade cinnamon donut dessert. Melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. Extra thanks to our servers and the bartender who made each visit extra-noteworthy. read more

Food was very good, the shortrib ravioli with truffle cream sauce, swiss chard and mushrooms was delicious with the right ratio of tender beef to the ravioli wrapper. It was the perfect lunch portion for me. It was savory and not too heavy considering it was beef and cream. My mom had the butternut squash salad with salmon and really enjoyed it, the piece of salmon was generous and perfectly cooked. She loved the toasted mulberries - only issue is they forgot the butternut squash but they brought over a side to add quickly. We both scarfed down the soft bread with the seasoned dipping oil that came with the meal. For dessert we had the bars of sin which was really great to split since there were two bars. The mousse and wafer like base cookie coated in a chocolate shell with vanilla gelato was a great way to end the meal. Service was good, the only downside was that it was really noisy inside. The outside area looked very nice and probably had less noise. read more

I have written a review of this place before and gave it 5 stars then and 5 stars now. We went there for my sister's 70th birthday and we were treated royally! Service was impeccable and the food was great. Both my sister and I have food issues (I need to avoid garlic and onion, she is gluten and lactose intolerant) and we were not disappointed by our food. It was all good. Highly recommend this place. read more

Read my past reviews of this place that went down over three years ago. The encounter there was a classic example of ineptness. Service was bad, food came out late with the sides being forgotten and then brought over when I'm paying the bill. I was a regular a long time ago but it was such a tasteless culinary experience, years later I still haven't ventured back. Sad to see a restaurant slide into mediocrity that I once held in esteem. read more

Upscale american done right. Ok, so I may have a bias, since my wife may or may not work here.... But my experience has always been exceptional here, and the food is sooo delicious. There hasn't been a single dish I've tried that I didn't love. Celebrated a birthday and an anniversary here because it's so great! Those bars of sin are LITERALLY everything. But they should be called bars of eternal happiness and satisfaction - sure, it doesn't roll of the tongue, but it's what they are. And don't skip on that grilled artichoke...mmm. From my experience, Wildflower's service is well above the standard of any luxury restaurant, with a much more down to earth setting. Definitely recommend a visit. And there are plenty of options to appease parties with different tastes. read more
