Looking for casual and trendy restaurants with great food and great service than look no further. Four of us went out last night after the wife's conference for a late night dinner. The Lebanese hummus was great with flat bread and vegetables. I have to eat gluten free and the pork wrapped loin was excellent. It was nice and crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside I could cut it with my fork. Our server Brittny provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She even rolled with the crazy dad joke the couple with us throw at her she was awesome . read more

Wildflower - Sitting at a both looking at the bar. - New American Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

A good sign I'm going to like a restaurant is how we are greeted when we arrive and this was a friendly welcome. The bartender Christian was a friendly and attentive man who was helpful in answering questions about cocktails. We chose to sit indoors but this place has a nice and inviting outdoor space. Wait staff very friendly- we were waited in by a very capable waitress who was being shadowed by Areisha (?). Food was fun and different- I had the short rib ravioli which was light and flavorful, my husband had fish and chips which he loved. We'll definitely be back, it was a perfect dining experience start to finish. read more

Everything is 5 star! Food was outstanding! Service was top notch! Riley is great! Second time here and will be back every time we are in town read more

The food was OK but not up to the hype that one would expect given the reviews on YELP. The calamari appetizer was good, the Brussel Sprout appetizer was nothing special. The short rib ravioli was disappointing, the salmon was OK and the parpadalle was also just OK. Just nothing worthy of four or five stars. The service was friendly but inattentive. We have to get silverware off of a neighboring table since they had cleared the silverware after the appetizers and right before our mains arrived. The noise level in the main dining area was too loud for conversation. If you come here, ask for an outside table then you might have a chance of hearing your table mates. read more

This is my first time eating at this restaurant, and I think things could've been better. First, my sangria was strong and good. Second, the short rib ravioli was really tasty! However, I got the Mac and cheese, and it was not the best. Also, the service was okay, but it could've been better. read more

Beautiful.... Ambient.... Delicious food... amazing drinks.... The BEST bartender.. ... Christian is his name.....

Excellent, excellent food and service although a bit loud when it's crowded. The calamari is to die for Our server Nathan goes beyond, to make your experience exceptional. He's the best. One of our favorite restaurants, and we're very picky. read more

I think I reviewed Wildflower once before, but our last visit makes a follow up review necessary. My wife and I came for our anniversary and we were both very excited about it, knowing how good it always is. We were lucky to sit in Jenna's section, and she recommended some good dishes. We had a few new things and followed her suggestions on some things. As always, everything was spectacular and the service was even better. Jenna and Dan made us feel so special, and we walked out on cloud 9, already looking forward to our next visit. read more

We were staying at the Westward Look for the final Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention and found this jewel of a restaurant. We actually came two of our four nights because it was so good and so easy. Service: amazing. Food: excellent.* Wine list and cocktails: superb. The second time we came, we sat on the patio. I lived in Tucson for a decade, and this is one of my favorite things about the Old Pueblo. It can be as hot as the "surface" of the sun all day, but when the sun sets, the air is like a warm cloud. *They do a really good job with gluten free, but some things aren't quite. They brought one of these meals with the cross-contaminated portion separate, but it would be a lot easier if dishes marked GF actually were. And I feel like it wouldn't be too much work to fry small things separately in a sauté pan rather than the gluten-laden fryer. read more

Chic. Music. Little candle and flowers on each table. Unable to hear each other talk at times. The servers wear cute little ties with spoon holders. I had the rib ravioli with mushrooms. It was delectable. But not really enough to make me full. My boyfriend that the rib plate. It was good. The calamari as the appetizer had lettuce with it. It definitely needed a dip with it. We had to ask to get any bread. The bread was good though, they served it with oil which we didn't love. Bread would have been better with butter instead. Had a good selection of wines Overall we really liked it but it was a bit pricy for what we got. Would return tho but not that often. Service was good, friendly. read more

Wildflower - Short Rib Ravioli - New American Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Our rating is based on 1. service-***(used dishes sat.), 2. food-***(lack of seasoning), ambiance- ***(loud), price-****. It was a Sunday evening and the place was packed. Before the manager comes at me, it was Gem week. This restaurant has been through many Gem shows. So that is not an excuse for the experience we had. Guide your waitstaff to perhaps mention that it could be a few minutes for clearing or food to arrive ect. This goes a long way. We were a party of 4 with a reservation. We were seated within 20 minutes of arrival. We ordered drinks then entrees were, Spinach pappardelle, Shrimp & avocado bowl, tasty, lemon grass skewered scallops, total lack of flavor and seasoning, and the grass fed New York strip suppose to be Medium rare, over cooked. A rookie mistake for a $40 steak. Highlight bread and dipping oil. * one water glass had lipstick on the rim! Eww read more

The Wildflower is one of the best American style restaurants in Tucson. The food is always good as is the service. It's somewhat pricey, but you pay for quality. The only real negative about it is it is noisy which can be annoying. The ambiance is OK, not the top. read more

Great ambience outdoor and inside, love a restaurant with an open kitchen. Sat at the bar and the service was great. Had the ahi taco as an appetizer which was well proportioned and delicious! Ordered the salmon which was advised cooked medium and how I liked and just delectable. I had asked about wine options and the bartender was very knowledgeable and the recommendation was perfect . Can't wait to come back. read more

Wildflower - Salmon with marinated beats and scalloped potato - New American Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I went here for a late Saturday lunch and by the time I left at 5:30pm the restaurant was pretty full. The salmon was amazing. The sauce was so unique, I've never tasted one like it before on a salmon. The side of Brussels sprouts and squash was good as well. The scallops were drenched in salt. We both agreed they were not good. read more

Another amazing find for my trip to Tucson. And what is crazy is they are NOT new but been there for 26 years!! Let's talk about the Wildflower at 7037 N. Oracle Road. Absolutely phenomenal in every essence of the word. The decor is very modern, and I loved the 20 foot ceilings. I didn't feel crowded at all even though it was very busy. Again, an above average restaurant by far with a single page menu. I tell people all the time, you can tell a lot about the food you're about to receive by the size of the menu. I started with in-house hummus and homemade pita. Spectacular, that first but the freshness consumes your palate, and you start that shoulder swivel back and forth happy dance. I loved the fresh herbs and ripe tomatoes along the edge of the plate, and it was far larger than I had anticipated. The Filet, O...M...G... I took that first bite, and no joke said "Shut Up" when I started eating it. Cooked to perfection is a strong enough description, but it's all I can think of at the moment. Stephanie was the bartender, and she made a wicked delicious Manhattan, and they use the real Cocktail cherries and cheap ones. The veggies of peas and asparagus, Fingerling Potatoes just complimented the filet so well. The one thing I didn't enjoy paired with it was the Parsley. That to me was very confusing for my palette. I would ask to hold that in the future. And sweet little baby Jesus, that dessert... A strawberry olive cake with homemade whip cream and strawberry ice cream... I have never eaten a dessert so slowly in fear of finishing too quickly and having to order a second one. Stephanie came through again recommending the Espresso Martini. She could just be the coach because she does nothing but win. The crispy exterior of the cake played so well with the cool creamy ice cream and decadent fluffy buttery cake.. there was so much taking place sensation wise in one bite, I could say on the verge of an overload. This is a place I would confidently say I would not just visit when I'm in Tucson doing something, but would make the journey solely to enjoy a remarkably unique meal read more

The braised pork ravioli was to die for. It was truly a treat! My husband enjoyed the light flakey fish and chips. Wildflower did it again! read more

Food not great for value. Hubby had a so so chicken salad sandwich and I had the spinach pasta that had an identity crisis. Mom had the best dish, fish and chips but fish was a very skimpy portion. read more

I met friends here for lunch and we sat outside. It's been awhile since I had been here and prefer outside because it gets noisy inside. the service was very good. The bread was nice to start with. I had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked well and came with fries and cole slaw. My friends ordered a dessert, cinnamon doughnuts with vanilla custard and berry marmalade. I didn't plan on having any but they talked me into the doughnut holes. Wow, what a great dessert! It was delicious. It would be worth the trip just for that. read more

This place is one of my fav spot in Tucson. Came here twice and quality has been consistently superb. Service is phenomenal with great service and attention to details. Vibe of the restuarant kind of reminds me of Newport Beach of Cali but very relax. For appetizers, I always get their crisp calamari, which is made with perfection. They didn't make it soggy and flavor combine together uniquely. Love love love their black mussels, it's a must. The soup/sauce that the mussels are cooked in is divine. I always get this when I come. For main entree, I highly recommend their spinach pappardelle. This dish is unique in terms of flavor and ingredients they cook. If you got pine nut allergy, prob wanna avoid this dish. If you are looking to get your daily veggies in, this is a good dish to get. I got their braised beef short rib too with friends and this was really good if you are a meat lover. Overall, this is one of my fav restaurant to have in Tucson and I am picky with food as there is limitation with belly space and money. This is a good spot and I even came here for my birthday celebration read more

One of my daughter's very favorite places for dinner in Tucson and we have spent many fun family moments at this restaurant together. The ambience is comfortable and sophisticated, the food is fresh and top notch and the service is exceptional. But I think the main thing that sells me on Wildflower happens to be the guests. The first time we went, she brought her 3 month boy the people sitting around us were absolutely charmed by him and it made her feel so welcomed and comfortable. Fast forward tonight and we went in for her birthday with her second 3 month old boy and all we got were smiles! Now that's what I call true sophistication. read more

Delicious food, good service, beautiful patio seating! Upscale but unpretentious, I recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent menu and service. We ate outside because the indoor space is crazy loud, so much so that we could not hear each other. Artichoke appetizers was excellent and so were salads and scallops read more

We made a reservation and were able to sit outside on the outer patio as we brought our dogs with us. The waiter was really nice and turned the heat lamps on for us as it was a bit chilly. He even brought out a bowl of water for our dogs as well. We ordered drinks and our food pretty quickly. I got the blood orange Paloma which was good. The hummus was split by the table and we got fresh veggies with it as well as the pita. It was delicious. The tomatoes and fresh parsley on top were really good and the za'atar sprinkled on the side mixed really well. For my main I got the pork chops. They were very good. It came with two decent sized boneless pork chops over mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. There was also an apple chutney glaze drizzled over the pork. It was all very good and went perfectly when getting some of each in one bite. The overall experience was good and if we are in Tucson again, we will make sure to eat here. read more

I was in need of a lite evening snack so my friends Perry and Deborah took me to one of their favourite spots that most definitely did not disappoint. We opted to sit out in the patio, full of shades and misters that kept the patio cool. I ordered a pre-dinner cocktail, Fig & Ginger Mule which was deliciously refreshing. Our server extraordinaire Cassandra was absolutely magnificent with her knowledge of delectable delights on the menu. It was difficult to choose my main course but that was easily resolved. Perry ordered the Short Rib Ravioli and Deborah ordered the special, Rainbow Trout ,so I could take sample of each. I opted for the Lemongrass Skewered Scallops which they both had ordered before so there was no need for me to share with them. I paired my Scallops with a Spanish Albariño which was a marriage made in heaven but when I paired the Sandeman port with the Raspberry torte, it was a rocky marriage that ended in divorce, a nice Italian prosecco would have been a better choice. I do declare that this was the most delightful culinary experience and will most definitely return to check out some items that I eyeballed on the menu. read more

Oh man, where to start. This is a lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu - and I only had appetizers - was stupendous!!! The cold salon? Knocked me on my butt. It was gorgeous crunchy silky and righteous. The artichokes had bits of char. Chefs kiss! I'd eat Brussels sprouts with every meal if they were prepared the way chef prepares them. Worth a drive just for that. read more

Food was good but service was poor. Everything took forever. By the time I got my entree it was 20 minutes from salad and my glass of wine was delivered after the entree! I heard great things about this place but would not recommend due to service. read more

We came to celebrate my birthday and from the moment we arrived, it felt special. There was a birthday card waiting at the table, and our waitress wished me a happy birthday right away. It was such a thoughtful start to the night. I had the lemongrass scallops with forbidden black rice, my favorite dish here, and once again it was absolutely delicious. Everyone at our table loved their meals too. To make the evening even better, my dessert was on the house and came out with a candle. A sweet gesture that made me smile. The only small downside was that it was a bit louder than we'd prefer for longer conversations, but overall the evening was wonderful and full of great food and good vibes. read more

Lovely restaurant! Service is first class and the food is great. It was a splurge for us $$$$ and got a bit noisy as more people arrived. When the temps allow, we'll choose the outdoor patio instead. read more

Good food Good service and good prices and excellent fish and chips. Usually able to get right in.

Wildflower is a such a fun place to lunch . Service and ambience is always just lovely. Food this time a bit disappointing . Pork scallopini a tad tough . It was a nice fine-dining experience for my husband and me. It was a bit crowded for a Thursday night. The service was okay, but there was a bit of a wait for our food, which is understandable. Naomi was our server and she was phenomenal!!!! She was very professional, attentive, and had us served in a timely manner. The food here was outstanding. We got the potstickers, calamari, artichoke, and I got the pappardelle and my husband got the fish and chips. Everything was phenomenal. My husband said that this was one of his favorite restaurants ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Inside was very loud so we elected to sit outside on the beautiful patio that was gorgeously decorated with beautiful plants and trees. Overall it was an excellent experience. I highly recommend and we will definitely eat here again. Thank you for the delicious food and great service. read more

This was our first time at Wildflower (as we were traveling), and wow, did we have a wonderful dining experience! Though we would have preferred patio seating they were veey busy and only had indoor to offer us. Samantha was our server and she greeted us with a smile and asked if we would like bread and butter, which we said "yes",- if you aren't gf we highly recommend the sourdough bread. As an appetizer we had the Brussels sprouts with bacon, tender in the inside, crispy on the outside, tossed in a yummy sauce, generous portion and so delicious! Our entrées included the Asian Chicken Salad, and the Short Rib Ravioli. The salad was packed with a tasty shaved chicken tossed with fresh greens in a light Asian vinegarette topped with crispy wonton noodles, Deliicious!!! The Ravioli pasta itself was very tender and thin. The short rib stuffing inside the ravioli was so tenderhad an exceptional flavor all topped with a very light cream sauce. Each bite just melted in your mouth. Samantha offered us a dessert menu, but we were too full at this point. Chatting with Samantha after our dinner told us that the 2 entrées we ordered have been a favorite among diners and has been on the menu for 26 years. When we pass through Tucson again, Wildflower will definitely be our #1 choice for dining. read more

I came here for lunch on a beautiful Saturday after a November morning hike. And I was hungrrryyyy! I was concerned I might not get a table when I first arrived because the place was packed. But it was just me, and the hosts tucked me away at a small table just outside the door on the patio. Perfect! I was tempted by so much of the menu, but I chose the chopped kale salad with salmon. It was SOOOO delicious. And it was a good-sized dish, especially for the price! I wish i didn't have so many other resyaurants to try... otherwise, I would have come back for a few more meals to try other things on the menu (or maybe that kale salad again... it was just that good). Next time I'm back in Tuscon, I will come here again for sure! read more

Impressed with our visit! Food was tasty, service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was nice! The restaurant looks totally different if you are outside vs inside. Both are well put together if you ask me! Food was tasty with overall good flavor and balance. The Brussel sprouts, Greek Creaser salad, cheddar cauliflower soup (daily), and hummus were the favorites! The portions were a bit all over the place. Some were large and others were smaller. Taste wise everything was solid! The artichoke was ok don't think we would get it again. Overall we will be coming back! Felt like the price was reasonable for the experience and quality of food! read more
