I made a decision to order flowers for a friend's birthday and heard about this place called Wild Flora in Studio City. I called and spoke to Kristine and she immediately came across as friendly and attentive. I told her my situation and she gave me all the options and made me feel that the arrangement would be unique and special. She asked all the right questions and I knew that I had made the right choice. She updated me on the delivery the next day and went out of her way to arrange for it to be delivered at the right time when my friend was home from work. Christine took my order the day earlier. I had mentioned that I wanted a bouquet featuring peonies as they were the favorite flower of the one receiving this gift. She took extra care and time with me. I came in the following day to pick up the arrangement and I was stunned! Chloe did the arranging, they featured my peonies and a vast array of flowers of all shapes. I had actually run into them randomly on Pinterest and sooo glad I did because they ended up being the most flexible, caring, and quite honestly - the most affordable/reasonable option without sacrificing quality AT ALL. Just had my wedding this past June. Alex worked with me months in advance with the details via email. She made the whole process super easy for me. Even when I had to change a few details halfway through, she accommodated very quickly. Our wedding started in the morning in Tustin, but they delivered on time at 8 AM. The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and cake flowers were all beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I even saved some flowers to hang dry on my wall. I had been meaning to send flowers to someone for referring a new client to me and in the valley area I haven't had much luck in the past with florists..Until I drove by WildFlora and stopped in. This shop looks like a florist shop you'd find in Park Slope. The details, the flowers in their cooler, the items for sale all awesome and gorgeous. They had these cheese boards (see my photos) that they buy from a small family in Tunisia that cuts them out of olive trees that no longer produce olives. Various other beautiful items too. The flowers were quickly delivered and turned out F'ing AMAZING. A 1000 times better than some of the other local valley florists...in fact, I will now use WildFlora for all of my LA flower deliveries including the Westside. There's just nothing else like them at the moment. By the way, the very nice and helpful girl working there said that the owners are a brother and sister, from New York, and come from a family of florists. They basically saved up all their money, moved cross country, and opened up this spot. They obviously have experience, talent, and know how. I would honestly give this no stars . Had the most horrible customer service today . I came in with my husband . We were the only people in the store . There were two women behind the counter. We were completely ignored . We were interested in purchasing a snake plant,cactus and hanging plant. When asking for help , the salesgirls would answer a quick question and go back behind the counter , tending to the computer , the phone . We felt completely ignored and were disgusted by their treatment . We ended up leaving as they were no help and bought a beautiful 5' snake plant and ceramic pot elsewhere. Seriously the most gorgeous arrangement I've ever seen! A bit pricey, but this isn't your basic 1800Flowers bouquet. I wanted something upscale for my fancy friend, and she got it! I ordered online late one night after hours, then was able to easily respond to the order confirmation email when I had an additional question. I have to agree with the more recent reviews: Customer service is terrible now. The white girls here are just plain rude. They used to be so helpful and friendly. : ( On top of that, their prices have gone from affordable to outrageous. Their namesake matchboxes are $5 - at other places they're free! Their greeting cards used to be $4. Now they're all $6. They don't even sell the small pebbles anymore. And instead of $5 for a large bag, they're $10 for a small bag. Their plant selection is dismal now. Make the trip to Potted, Folia Collective or Sunset Nursery for a way better selection at a fraction of the price. The only thing I'd come here for now is flowers. Very disappointing. read more

They not only got me what I needed with the quickness and with great customers, but were incredibly insightful on their selection of flowers, wrist attachment and everything. Came here with my girlfriend yesterday and loved the place. There are a lot of cool things. We got a gold and white glass leaf, a really nice bouquet an employee made, a nice art price with wood hanging and a tiny bouquet of dry plants. I want to go back and buy some of these very cute little vases. There was other stuff I wanted to get but resisted because if I got one if would want to then get one of each. I live in another state and wanted to get flowers delivered to a friend in Studio City, but I wanted to give my money to an independent, local business rather than Teleflora or 1-800-Flowers. After searching around for a bit, I found that Wildflora had a website on which you can order flowers for delivery instead of having to call them on the phone. This was very convenient because I could see pictures of the flowers I would send and I didn't have to give my credit card information over the phone. My friend received her flowers on time and was overjoyed. Minus 1 star because Wildflora said they would email me when the flowers hd been delivered, and I never received any notice via email or otherwise. read more

I perused Wildflora's website, Instagram, and Yelp page and absolutely loved their work. I emailed them several days before my best friend's birthday and detailed what should be in the arrangement: 1) peonies (her favorite flowers) and if available, garden roses and ranunculus and 2) various shades of pink with some peach accents. For reference, I included two pictures of the look I wanted - densely packed flowers with little greenery. My budget was $90 (total came out to $109 after tax and delivery). The shop quickly responded and said they could comply with my request but pointed out that the arrangement would be smaller than the ones in the pictures due to my budget. A-okay with me. The next day, my friend and I coincidentally walked into Wildflora while window-shopping, and she thought the shop was so cute! So of course, I was even more excited for her to receive something spectacular from Wildflora. Wildflora accomodated my last-minute request to deliver in the late afternoon since my friend would be out of the house most of the day. She later texted me a picture of the flowers she received. I could tell she didn't love them. I was... upset to say the least. Why was there so much foliage? Why were the flowers hiding beneath the foliage? Were there even that many flowers? I couldn't tell. Why were the flowers spaced out? Why were the flowers orange, not pink? Most of the details that I had requested were not taken into account. I immediately contacted Wildflora expressing my disappointment and more importantly, that the birthday girl was less than impressed. Alex apologized and offered to swap the arrangement out for a new one the next day. It would've been a hassle to work out the logistics so my friend declined the offer. I had high hopes for this shop. I am sad to say I feel like I wasted $100+. read more

Such a cool independent shop with beautiful out of the ordinary flower arrangements, house plants and succulents. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable and super helpful. They helped me pick out the perfect plant and potted it for me complete with a choice of rocks as a topper. I love their selection of pots, all very chic and perfect for that bohemian or minimalist California interior aesthetic. The next time I send a bouquet it will definitely be from here! I love their unique and gorgeous array of ecologically sound plants and flowers. Not to mention it always feels good to support local independent businesses. I received several flower arrangements for my birthday, but the bouquet from Wildflora was the more beautiful by far. The arrangement was fresh and very classy. By omitting a vase, they were able to deliver a bigger bouquet for the price and I'm very glad they talked to my mom about this option. I hate to rate this again, as a 1 star flower shop. I had a very bad recent experience. (Even flowers I had previously several months were not up to my standards). I ordered flowers for my Birthday, two arrangements for $300 total. I had to throw it away 3 days after, because the flowers were old. Not mentioning, when I got to the shop to pick them up, they looked like they were made for funeral/ Halloween. I am glad I came in, and they were not delivered, otherwise I'd be very upset. The designer tried to make it more bright, as colors were deep purple, brown, dark. Still was very unattractive and grim looking. The worst part was that they were old, and didn't last 3 days. Also, my boyfriend ordered an arrangement, for $150. Was delivered to me on Monday, and has to go in the trash today, Wednesday, 2 days after. They were made based on my previous orders, to satisfy me, but were also unattractive and old. I won't be back. I feel very disappointed, because I loved this flower shop the most. Very bad business now. Basically we spent 1/2k for garbage. Truly amazing. I can only post photos of the bouquets Ive ordered, and it will say a thousand words. Beautiful choice of flowers in any color combination. Designers do a great job! Please don't change, I'll be your customer forever. Flowers usually last for 1.5-2 weeks. read more

It is the classic gift box, the girls at Wildflora were able to swap out the live flowers for this beautiful dried arrangement. Love all the things it comes with. Only downside was that I asked for plain milk chocolate, which they were out of so they recommended the milk chocolate with cinnamon. After I had already left from picking up the box, I realized it was dark chocolate and not milk chocolate. :( it was too late to go back and swap it out. The recipient of this box is not a fan of dark chocolate so it kinda made me look like I don't know them very well. :( read more

Ordered flowers for my mother In law for Mexican Mother's Day, placed the order early Saturday for a Tuesday delivery. The arrangement was not cheap, but the pics looked beautiful on Yelp so I went for it anyways. Tuesday came and around 4 I called to inquire about the delivery, they said it was on route. Then at 6 it still had not arrived so I called again and they said the driver was leaving and they were short staffed. I get being short staffed but this was my second attempt in communicating and getting an ETA since the day was coming to a close. They had the chance to make it right with me but the attitude "we'll we are short staffed what do you want me to do" instead of just saying ok we can make it right or offer a discount on the next order, nothing. The arrangement arrived around 7:30 pm. It was gorgeous (hence my 2 stars vs 1) but the service was terrible and the person on the phone was just rude. read more
